Well here at the shop we have lots wands that can cure wounds. Does any of companions suffer from a cures? if so this wand of mummy kiss will fix them right up. Ib speaks these words in sing song voice. He point to several wands as spoke.
Oh I thought I saw you there! Your one of the Heroes of the Wide!. Here please take this wand on the house. Tell your friends that you got it here. He says this and hands you a wand.
Sli clears his throat
"I was at the Wide too, my arrow delivered the killing blow."
Sli grins and takes a light bow.
"If the appropriate wand is not available here, Torm will certainly gift us with greater health."
"I believe this wand is destined for you. " The halfling says to you. The wand is blue & has a blue dragon carved into it. It really appeals to you.
"Ah yes about Master Skood. He is a great man he was hand picked to serve the Duke. " Ib says to you.
"yes the color does bring out your eyes. The wand is free of charge, as I stated before. Please give the good Master my warmest wishes " Ib responds to Willow.
Arrack is healed by the cleric! Before you left.
As the group heads to the 3 Kegs, each of you take note of the city. The people seem to be heading home. You also notice a a rougher crowd starting to appear, the kind of crowd that looks for trouble. As the group gets to the 3 kegs the tavern seem lively and music fills the air. " Heroes of the Wide are here! " a voice yells.. [what do you guys do]
"HAHA! I Am Arrack! Warrior from the tribe of the wolf, Hero of the wide! Yes! How about some mead for the house! First rounds on us! The rest on yall! HAHAHA. Who Wants to have an arm wrestling match against me! Eh? Anyone!?"
Arrack busts in, becoming quite loud and, as per usually, gets two pints of mead as quickly as he can.
"Uh...YES! Step up, any man or woman who would like to challenge the mighty Arrack! I bet two gold pieces that no man in the Gate can best the hero of the wide in arm wrestling! Ladies and gentlemen this mighty warrior felled the spawn of Bhaal! If you think you can best the mighty wolf we call Arrack step up and place your bet!"
Orlpar chuckles and shakes his head at Sli.
"Nicely played. A round for your friends if this proves profitable, I hope." He whispers as he moves past Sli to join Willow in the search for Skood.
"With all this attention it shouldn't be too hard for Skood to find us..."
After all the commotion has died down. A tall man finds you and says to you. Please come this way Master Skood awaits you. You as a group follow after the first round has been passed.
A young elf wearing a grey traveling cloak over his soft blue cloths and armour approachs the elf offering bets.
speaking in elvish exitment plainly written across his fine features. "it has been to long since i have seen another elf i was beging to think their were none in the lands of men. I owe an apology to human i barelu belived when he said tjat more of my kind could be found in baulders gate. Apologies hear i am rambeling away and i havnt even introduced my self I am Calgarus Silverleaf."
The young elf enthusiasticly shoots out his hand to sli.
Master Skoond says Greetings heros, ah I can see Master Silverleaf made it, as well.

Calgarus role in the fight early against Bhaal spawn, was that he fought another Tiefling who had let the mysterious man on to the stage.
Skoond buys dinner for you guys. He gives you the layout of the politics of Bauldur's Gate. As he talks he gives you information about the Parliament of Peers, and the Watch, and the Flaming Fist.This knowledge will may come in handy later you guys think. Skoond does nothing but sing the praises of Duke Torlin Silvershied his patron. As he talks he also lets you about a "dangerous law breaking Guild" the Guild as you know represents the poor in the city.
Are there any questions before we leave to see my lord awaits us in the Upper city? Skoond asks the group.
Sli brushes a strand of golden hair out of his face and turns to the approaching elf.
"Hello Calgarus, I am Slivan but my friends and enemies alike call me Sli and my ex lovers call me far worse. Well met may I ask where you hail from?"
"Skoond what can you tell us more about your master?" "you wish us to work for a man most of us know little about"

"Ah that is quite a large amount of info Master Skoond", Pardon my ignorance as I am new to your city but this parliament of peers is like a city council yes?. The watch is the city guard and the flaming fist a mercenary group of sorts. This guild you speak of do they have a name? Are they a rogue guild? or a protection outfit?.
*After a quick drink of wine and a deep breath, Willow turns to the newcomer*
"Greetings Calgurus, I am Willow Feywind recently of Neverwinter"
"Greetings Willow Feywind. I was sorry to hear what happened to Neverwinter."
A very mournful look comes across Calgarus's face "I can only hope it was not as bad as the rumors say."
Gesturing to himself "I come form Evereska to the east"
Smiling Calgarus continued "It is beautiful place but to secluded from the world I had to get out I had to see the realms of man."
Looking at the others "do you all come from Neverwinter?"
"I come from a small town south of here called Naskel and for a short time I lived in Beregost. I'm not real popular with the law in Beregost so I'm decided to head north for the Gate. It's the biggest city I have ever visited. "
"Greetings Calgarus, I am Orlpar Amalith. I grew up in Baldur's Gate and have served as a member of the watch."
Skood leads the heroes to the upper city. The streets as well lit and seem well put together. The glass structure of the High Hall gleams off the streetlight. Skood nods to the guards as the party walks passed the unchallenged.
When you arrive in the main area a human noble wearing a wooden cog, the holy symbol of Gond stands in the greeting. His black hair has grayed at the temples, and he keeps a well trimmed salt and pepper beard. "Welcome"! He says. "I am sure Imbalyn showed you a pleasant time thus far. Would you care for a beverage? What kind of questions do you have?

The Duke looks at Willow with an air of impatience and then says. Yes I have heard of the troubles in Neverwinter. I can see how coming from the area the Gate must seem magical to you. To answer your question each district is ruled by Duke. We serve on the council to bring order to the city. As far the Flaming Fist goes they are useful to keep the lessers persons in line.
The Duke looks at Willow and seems to not hear her question. He looks to the cleric and barbarian. What are you doing in the City? he asks them.
"Greetings, Duke. I am Orlpar Amalith, I grew up in Baldur's Gate and have been an active member of the watch as an extension of my service to Torm."
Orlpar bows.
"While I've known the members gathered here for only a short time I can tell you with sincerity that their actions today have been honorable and have served to protect the people of our fair city."
Your service to us is to the glory of Torm. I am glad you are to here to serve. the Duke says to the young cleric.
I am sorry for if what I say comes out rude. I am thankful for you coming here. I will be forward with you. Our city rots of the core. Who would dare to strike at such a venerated hero as Adbel Adrian but those who swear fealty to dark evil forces? Many have come to our city seeking refuge, and we have graciously opened our doors. But they brought with them a rotten seed-unholy beliefs and foul gods. I intend to sweep their filth from our city and restore Baldur's Gate to its proper place of esteem.
The people of whom I speak are the in league with a cabal of thieves and ruffians known as the Guild, as if they deserve such a name. Their cancerous fingers reach from the gutters all the way to our vaunted institutions. They manipulate our markets and shipping, worship unsavory gods and powerful cronies in the courts and even the Flaming Fist. To root them out, I must know who they are. I need someone who can trace the Guild's network and identify it's leader. Will you help me? the Duke says all of this to you appealing to your sense of justice. You all can tell he is sincere in what he says to you, he believes every word.
"I'm sure we will be compensated for our services? You seem like a man that is held in very high regards in the Gate surely some perks for serving you are instore?"
The Duke looks at the group and nods to Sil about his request. He waits for the Cleric and Barbian to answer.
"Sounds great, count me in Duke Sli is at your service!"
The Duke offers you all winning smile and says My sources have identified three probable agents- a wool trader named Norold Dlusker; the sorceress Yssara Bracke; the Low Lantern's proprietress, Laraelra Thundreth. To move against them, I need proof. I can provide you a writ of search and seizure as High Hall agents. To answer you better Sil I am a generous patron. I can reward well with gold if you desire or positions of prominence within the city. That would help you Mistress Feywind,imagine starting over like that. Young Cleric imagine serving Torm with abilities like that. What do you say?
Calgarus eyes dart enthusiastically between the duke and his companions nodding his head in agreement when asked if he would be willing to assist.
"Can you give us the locations of these suspects? I'm not too familiar with the city as of yet and knowing the residencies will help us better develop a strategy. "
The Duke looks at the group and says Yes I you can find Yssra Brackrel above the Danthelon's Dancing Axe. You can also find Laraelra Thundreth she operates the Low Lantern a tavern gambling hall. Then there is Norold Dlusker he operates out of stall in the Wide. So who will be your first target?
"We could go to the wide it shouldn't be far from here. Then we could go make a visit to the Low Lantern, then try to find the dancing axe. I say the sooner the better incase these suspects get word that they are wanted."
The Duke looks a little impatient and says Please let me know when your group can chose and then go.
The group leaves the Duke with the writ of seizure. The group makes their way through the Wide. A Bailiff is the near the Stall where Norold is, he says My name is Jedron Hiller, how can I be of service to you?.
