Sil notices a man using "street" the common hand signs among those who are thieves. As Sil approaches the young man is helping put fruit back in stand that was not knocked down.

Sil:

Your company is new here in the Gate. Don't trust those men who spoke with you company earlier. If you really want to know what is happening here in the city. Meet me at the gate of Little Calimshan at dusk.

Sil hears voice behind him he turns to look and he turns back around the man is gone.

As Willow seeks to get her questions answered. A tall elf whose has some weight to him approaches the group. He has a green mask on surrounding his eyes and flaming red hair. His clothes are colorful, his jacket is purple and has many rhinestones on it.

Ahh I see the Feywild willow company is need. I know how I can help the "heroes of the wide". Please come with me to friends store. There we help your tall friend rest. I also see you have cleric of Torm with you I am sure he could use some rest."

Coran extends his hand in the direction of the store. As he does most of the citizens smile at him as they pass. You each get a sense that this elf maybe able to explain to what you occured and give you information on the City.

Sli stands perplexed for a moment then makes his way over to Willow

"Well I have a lead, if the rest wishes to follow, that can maybe shed some light on the situation. Although we only have till dusk to follow up. Have you found any information? By the way this "lead" also suggested the other two fellows that spoke to us shouldn't so easily be trusted"

Sli waits near Willow watching the wide with a cool unassuming caution.

*Willow shakes her head to clear the cobwebs* "So let me see if I have this straight, We have 4 choices

1. Imbralyn Skood at the 3 old kegs no later than the 4th bell.

2. The watch captain who wishes to speak with us at his camp

3. This tall elf who looks to be dressed for the festival

4. This fellow you spoke with, whom did he say could not be trusted?

"It appears all of us have a lead, The question for me is which one of these options offers the best chance to get Arrack healed? Let's go there and start narrowing down our choices.

I met Arrack at the rumblebelly just before this festival was about to start, these other 2 fine gentlemen I met after the chaos had subsided.

I must say your festivals are much different than we have in neverwinter"

Corran looks at Willow smiles and then sips his whine.

What is the time of day? Midday or evening?

Corran looks at Orlpar and smiles. I am a simple merchant here in the city. He continues after drinking a sip of whine. As you can tell Duke Adrian was wildly popular figure here in the City. He had a lot of support in Upper city. He of course held the traditional seat of the Flaming Fist. He of course had very humble beginnings and worked his way up. The good Duke always remember where he came from and made sizable charity donations when possible. This gained him favor and popularity in the Outer city. The Guild is power player there and the Duke was loved by them. There was talk the Duke was a Bhaalspawn and he was the last of his kind
Corran takes sip of his wine and pauses. He then looks at Orplar and says You should know must of that young one He then looks at the Willow and says I hope that answers most of questions
Corran then smile and says What you saw today was Bhaalspawn creature. Very nasty but you all seemed to deal with it. I am sure your exploits gathered lots of attention. Did anyone meet you with all ?

Bhaalspawn:

Bhaalspawn is the name given to the mortal offspring of the now dead god Bhaal. It is said that Bhaal foresaw his death during the Time of Troubles and came to Toril before the climactic event, mating with females of almost any species, not all of them humanoid. Like Bane, he would attempt to use these offspring to bring himself back to life. Alaundo made a prophecy about the Bhaalspawn that foretold the great destruction they would bring.

male Half-Elf /HP 9 (1d8+1)/Init +3/ AC 15/ T 13/ FF 12/ Fort 1/ Ref 5/ Will 1/ BAB 0/ CMB 1/ CMD 14/ Rapier 1d6-1/ Bow 1d6+4/Percep +3/ Rouge/1

"But I thought the last Bhaal spawn was killed off along with Bhaal a long time ago here in the Gate? My father told me stories of a Ranger named Mincs. Minsc is well known in Naskel and it's well known he was among the party that slayed the last bhaal spawn." "Does this mean the Iron Throne is still in operation?"

Corran looks at Sil and laughs. "No young Sil that rabble perished a while ago after the attempted a Coup."

Male Half Elf {HP 8/16 l AC 15 l T 10 l FF 15 l Fort 6 l Ref 1 l Will 7 l CMD 13 l Init 0 l Per 9 l Cleric 2

"Indeed, I knew of the duke. I never suspected the rumors of him being a Bhaalspawn could possibly be true. I thought they were, at best, an attempt to slander his name."

Corran looks at the Cleric and then speaks. I would think you of all people would be open to anything. After all look at the times we live in. The spellplague hurt us, the volcano eruption in the north that nearly destroyed Neverwinter, the return of the Nethril from the Shadow and now I am hearing rumors about ancient prophecy.
I am more concerned about the power vacuum the Duke's death has created. I would like to know from you if anyone has approached you? I am sure those who want to change here in the Gate would love to have the "Heroes of the Wide" on their side. I propose a deal, I will give you information on this new prophecy and in return tell if anyone has approached you.

The third bell of the day rings. Letting you know have at least two hours to figure out your next move.

Sundering Prophecy:

When the trials begin,
in soul-torn solitude despairing,
the hunter waits alone.
The companions emerge
from fast-bound ties of fate
uniting against a common foe.
When the shadows descend,
in Hell-sworn covenant unswerving
the blighted brothers hunt,
and the godborn appears,
in rose-blessed abbey reared,
arising to loose the godly spark.

When the harvest time comes,
in hate-fueled mission grim unbending,
the shadowed reapers search.
The adversary vies
with fiend-wrought enemies,
opposing the twisting schemes of Hell.

When the tempest is born,
as storm-tossed waters rise uncaring,
the promised hope still shines.
And the reaver beholds
the dawn-born chosen's gaze,
transforming the darkness into light.

When the battle is lost,
through quake-tossed battlefields unwitting
the seasoned legions march,
but the sentinel flees
with once-proud royalty,
protecting devotion's fragile heart.

When the ending draws near,
with ice-locked stars unmoving,
the threefold threats await,
and the herald proclaims,
in war-wrecked misery,
announcing the dying of an age.

"oh and a strange man told me to meet him in Little Calimshan as well, he seemed shady though"

Imbralyn Skoond is the Duke Silvershield personal wizard. He mostly an errand boy for the Duke. Understand if the Duke wants an audience with you it would be best to look into it. As far the Ravengard he is the head of the Flaming Fist, and if someone from the Little Calimshan wanted to speak with you it would be wise to speak to the them. Each person that has spoke with you wants your support. It all depends on what part of the city do you want be in the upper side, the middle, or the lower city? Understand this they want all of you together. So whoever you don't support will probably will be your enemy. So I must be going now.
Corran says to the group and as he gets up. He speaks once last time. If you need me you can find me at the Elvensong Tavern in the next to the Basilisk gate. with a bow he leaves the group.

Orlpar shares that their has been tention in the air. The influx of refugees Neverwinter and various other countries has caused a strain on the city. The good Duke was truly a calming factor. Both Skood & Ravengard are honorable men.
You may also stop along the way to buy things as need. Orlpar also tells you if want to go to the 3 Kegs now is the time to leave. The traffic in the streets will be busy.
