Welcome to my inaugural PFS scenario, and thanks for playing!

We're still not going to start for a few weeks (we have to start Aug. 25) but I figure we can get started on discussing some things.

First of all, let's figure out what characters you're playing. The game has tiers 1-2 and 4-5, and I'm happy to do either. However, it looks like we've got a couple folks new to organized play* so I'm going to suggest we start with the lower tier so they can start with new characters vs. having to use pregens.

* Lupus, I see you said you weren't completely sure what organized play is. Basically, it's regular Pathfinder but using a standard set of rules that people use everywhere, so I could pick up my character from here in Pennsylvania and go play with a group in San Francisco and we're all assumed to have access to the same rules and items and whatnot.

You can find out more about it here and please feel free to ask any questions you have (hopefully some of the other players will chime in too, as it sounds like some of you have more experience with organized play than I do myself).

If we go tier 1-2 I have a saboteur alchemist that's ready.

Hello, happy to be here! I've got several different characters that I could bring for a low-tier game with a preference for bringing my Scarab Sages spiritualist. If we go high-tier then I'll likely need to play a pregen as my few 2+ PCs are already committed to other games - but I don't mind playing a pregen if this ends up being the case :)

Checking in for now. Lower tier is great! I think I'll use Clara. She's an investigator (lvl 1).

I've sent messages to Hakak, Giovanni and lupus to let them know the thread is up. Hopefully we'll hear from them in the next couple days.

Just checking in folks. Will be rolling a new level 1 tomorrow. Thinking of a wizard or possible a Druid

Tier 1-2 is great. I'll roll a front-liner if that's what we need.

Giovanni may be freed up by then, but currently running another scenario.

OK, sounds like we have everyone but lupus who's checked in. My wife is leaving the country on Wednesday, so I'll check in again after that and if he/she hasn't responded, invite one of the other two to join us.

Okay, thanks for the update! Also, would it be possible to open up Gameplay so we can dot in and get the game on our campaigns list? :)

Still have a little more than a week before we can get started, but anything else we need to worry about before then (I don't think I need PFS numbers until later on...)?

depending on how some of my other PbP sessions wrap up, i may have a Sorcerer 1, rogue 2.

otherwise, i may just roll a new character.

I believe I'll be traveling Sunday and Wednesday to visit my folks. I expect to have time to update Monday and Tuesday, though am not 100 percent sure I will.

(That said, I'm still waiting for a few people to post in the game thread. if we don't hear from them in the next couple days, we'll figure out what to do.)

By the way, you might want to PM the missing folks and make sure they're getting updates to the Gameplay thread. I say this because despite dotting in, a couple of my Gameday games were not giving me updates of new posts.

Checking in but I did want to echo Alessio's question from Gameplay - anything we can do or are we in sort of a limbo for the moment? By the way, is there an easier method to track what things we've found/discovered so far besides just searching back through previous posts? :)

Alessio and Katarina are currently searching the other room, so yeah, you're kind of on the shelf at the moment unless someone wants to come interrupt you and have you come into the other room.

Yes, I've heard pretty good things about this scenario and I'm having a good time. Sorry that Kat isn't out there to Aid but I'll get Ashton right on that - was sleeping the sleep of the dead for last night and a good chunk of today.

Okay, so do we want to stick with the original result where it took Kat and Alessio the full 15 minutes in the smaller room or is it worth losing time in the Lion Room to cut that 15 minutes down?

It's kind of a non-issue. Fenric doesn't update the outer room until the 15 minute mark.
