"Stupid skeleton! Just die again already!", Oskar grunts and swings his club a second time.

"Rest in pieces, abomination.", Oskar spits on the ground and positions himself to charge at the next skeleton.

Barkley positions itself to the right of the skeleton and tries to bite.

Oskar beats the skeleton into a pile of bone dust with his magical club, Barkley moves towards the Red Northern Skeleton but the heat from it burns his nose and he just barely misses.

Tiresias, now slightly frustrated, points his finger again at the northern skeleton "These fellows could just stay put for a moment, no?"

Red Skeleton seeing that it has 2 enemies lashes out a claw at each.

"The gods do seem to favor these atrocities. Perhaps another reunion is in order. I never took you for a melee guy, Oskar. Nice clubwork."

Seldlron draws another dagger while moving toward his flaming foe. Oskar appears to be lining up for a charge, so he keeps that path clear. With great malice he throws the dagger as hard as he can.

watching his dagger go astray, he can only chuckle.
Suspecting he has no eyebrows at this point, he feels for them. Suspicion confirmed. The trogloloin hanging about his waist seems to have protected his most valued of assets, however.

The Old dwarf charges across the ground, connecting solidly with it.

Oskar drops the final skeleton, the heat and light in the room fade to normal, the lighting drops to near darkness.

upon searching:

You find 100 gold between both altars, each altar also has a silver holy symbol of Nethys on them. There are 2 scrolls on the altars as well.

"I can still see clear as night, kid.", Oskar mutter a few magical words and his club glows with light. "That better? Lets take some time to search the room and take a look at those wounds."

He uses the wand of cure light wounds on Seldlron and Barkley.

As Oskar's club illuminates the room, you can easily see that writing on the wall. Upon closer inspection they are the writings from the Book of Nethys, holy text. A door can be seen upon the south eastern wall, Taqan moves towards it to check for traps.

Taqan turns towards the group "A door does not appear trapped, a door appears locked. A man will unlock and we shall proceed?"

Disable device Take 20: 20 + 8 = 28

You hear the chink of a lock being picked and the door swings inwards, Taqan's eyes appear happy with his own work, you are unable to see his smile because of the cloth across his face.

Seldlron collects his bow, greataxe, and daggers that are scattered about the room.

"We are going through that wand of CLW pretty quickly. Do we have any other means of healing?"

He waits for the others to inspect the room and findings.

Not convinced Barkley took a hit in that fight.

Whilst Taqan is opening the lock, Tiresias takes his time in reading the scrolls. Every now and then he utters some interjections of amazement and surprise, afterwards revealing the information he gathered. "This one contains a spell for creating a loud ringing noise that shatters things, and this one," the half-elf says showing the second scroll, "is for the selfless ones who want to sacrifice themselves to protect another person. I can't really use it, anyhow, but the first scroll might be useful!"

Taking 10 on both spellcraft checks since it seems we have the time

Seldlron clears the altars of their gold and silver. He puts it in his backpack with the other items the party has found.
They are listed under the spoiler in my profile next to last paragraph.

"I am uninjured." Lukas reassures the dwarf, before moving to examine the pile of bones that was the nearest skeleton. "Animated purely by negative energy. Fascinating. I have seen it done only a few times before. I was able to disrupt it by overcharging the matrices."


Taqan, peers though the door,

perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7

He closes the door, his eyes showing shock,

"A man has found a nest of bats, their bowels liter the floor and a sea of them appears on the roof. A man advises against going that way."

Taqan then moves back towards the stairway awaiting all the rest to finish up.

You're right, Seldlron, i have no idea how the heck i read that post as him being hit lol. The wand is 8 charges thens.

"I happen to know some healing spells, kid, but i could only cast them tomorrow."

As the group looks at the door.

"Well, lets go to the next floor if that's the case.", he says.

As they go upstairs (if they go?) Oskar casts Guidance on Seldlron.

"This might help."

"Ahh....Thank you eldest one. Tis good to know we have at least one healer amongst us. Taqan, do you mind doing your thing over here? Unlock, check for traps, peek about? I shall be a small distance behind should an open door cause any trouble." He nocks an arrow.

Tiresias accompanies the others, his head gnawing on some bits of the passages of the book of Nethys. Upon hearing SeldIron's request, he quickly struts to where the warrior is: "Here, my friend, let me help you!" The diviner reaches for the human's greataxe and touches it whilst whispering a few words in elvish. The blades glow with a faint, yellow light. "Ah, just like in the golden sands of Osirion, friends!"


Taqan nods at those gathered, he wraps his clothing tighter around himself and slowly pads up the stairs, as he gets to the top of the stairs he checks the door for traps.

Detect Traps: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24

Upon detecting no traps, he notices the door is not locked.

perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7

He slowly opens the door, as the door makes a loud creak all below can hear reptilian screeching.

Seldlron listens for a split second to hear if Taqan is being pursued. He knows he must act quickly if that is not the case.

You can hear one crashing down the stairs, howling with glee at what it assumes is an easy kill.

The Trog comes down the final step stopping just out side of the door way, its eyes go wide when it realizes that the human was not alone.

Damage to Blue Trog: 1d12 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12


Seldlron drops the Trog with a horizontal chop to the neck, the Trogs head goes rolling across the chapel.

You can hear a call down the stairs, almost like they are asking if the now dead Trog is ok.

"Maybie we should wait for another one of them to come investigate so can surprise it?", he whispers, club in hand.

Not sure if i'm reading the situation correctly but my idea is for both Oskar and Barlkey to stand at the sides of the door readying attacks in case one trog comes down.

"Quick, get the rope and two of us stand to the sides of the entrance! I'll try and call them over here! When they're close, pull the rope, we might trip some of them!" Tiresias whispers back, motioning to SeldIron and whoever's closest.

As soon as everyone's set up, Tiresias grabs something form his component pouch and swallows it. He then puts his hands around his mouth and starts speaking gibberish words that come out uncannily similar to the trog's speech.

Casting ghost sound, max lvl 1 loudness, as if trogs were discussing something outside the door. Once/if the other trogs come down the stairs, he moves the figment to away from the entrance

Tiresias makes his call, nothing seems like it is happening until it is to late. A Trog appears in the door way as if by magic 29 stealth you notice the smell first then it shrieks as loudly as it can and you hear an answering shriek for up the stairs.

Fort DC 11 Stench Aura, if you fail you are sickened for 10 rounds. Initiative will continue as rolled before.

Having dropped the trog, Seldlron's concern moves to the remaining lizard upstairs.
"Never let an enemy flee! Rule number three, fighter's rulebook."


Crude bunks line the walls of this room, which is filled with the
nauseating stench of troglodytes.

Not much left in this room, just some old rotting bunks and what looks like a mess from a bunch of large animals living here.

There is a door to the north and a door to the south

"Ugh, this is worst than climbing that rope five times.", Oskar turns his head in disgust.

"North were those soaked rooms, and i don't think that trog got up here intending to take a bath, did he?", Oskar starts heading towards the south door.


Taqan gently sets his hand on Oskar's shoulder

"A man must check a door for traps, a man cannot ask an elder to risk the elders life when a man is trained for such tasks."

Taqan turns to Oskar and Barkley,

"A man does not see any traps, The Elder can proceed."

Seldlron takes two javelins off the bodies. He quickly searches them for anything of value or interest.

Javelins in hand he joins Oskar upstairs. His magically lit greataxe dims until it appears normal again. "Agreed, Oskar. Should we pursue now or let our casters get some rest? If so, downstairs would be the best place for that. Already cleared and one way in for whatever is up here."
