Hope Eudo is still with us, last post was on Monday. Also waiting for Jun.

Sorry I was waiting for Eudo too.

Seeing Gyllan fall, Jun moves to him and uses his blessing to hopefully bring him back from the brink. Don't let me be too late

Hmm, thought I had posted my Stabilize roll yesterday, but it looks like it didn't post. It should count as Gyllan's action in round 2.

Stabilize, DC 10, - 2 (for -2 hp) +1 for Con: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (14) - 1 = 13

So Gyllan stabilized at -2, and Jun's healing brought him to 0. Wow, the dice-a-tronic is picking on Jun good, and it's not helping Gyllan much as a result. I had a DM for years who didn't allow 1's on hit dice or healing dice. Could Lucendar be that DM? :)

Srry folks, busy week. DM Crimsom Eudonius is at AG 6, not 7. In my turn I only moved 5 ft forward, since I have reach now there is no need to get that close. Looking back I see that i did not specify my coordenates on the map in my post, sorry for the confusion.

The half orcs eyes open wide as his companion falls to the ground. As an experieced naturalist and a part time physician he knows Gyllan's body have just a few more moments before shutting down. But their situation as a group does not bode well also so he decides to press on with his attack. And misses, his attention on his fallen comrade.

Luc moves to the side and shoots his crossbow at the Tengu but misses poorly, not wanting to hit Cin or Eudo:
1d20 + 4 + 1 - 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 + 1 - 4 = 6

Round 3: Tengu's Turn
Not fazed that he is the only enemy left standing, the Tengu sees Eudo as his threat and takes a 5' step toward him, trying to pierce the half-orc with his rapier but misses poorly!
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8

Party is up! Gyllan is disabled at 0 hit points.

I am going to go ahead and post my action because I am not sure if I will be able to do so later. Going out of town for the weekend.

Seen that Gyllan is being taken care for the half orc is able to concentrate on the fight at hand. With a broad vertical swing Eudonius brings his axe down deep into the bird man's chest.

Gyllan comes back to a blurry consciousness as a result of Jun's healing energies. Unsure what has happened in the battle, he reaches hurriedly for his sword, and tries to struggle to his feet, but finds he must catch his breath first. He looks up in time to see Eudonius carve a great rift in the chest of a tengu guard, and from the demeanor of his companions, it is clear to Gyllan that this fight is over.

Slumping back onto the ground, Gyllan feels Jun lay a hand upon him and offer healing, and Gyllan feels a pulse of energy course through him. Although this energy is invisible, Gyllan perceives it as a brilliant, silvery sheen over his body for a moment, which leaves him feeling greatly restored.

He lays a hand on Jun's gloved hand and says quietly "Thank you, friend. Those tengu sure can hit hard! I feel a good deal better now, but when that first cut hit, I thought I was dead. Again, my thanks."

As he gets carefully to his feet, Gyllan adds, "The last thing I recall was Cinnamon asking if I needed her to save me. Is that what happened?"

Hang in there guys, the cave map is on my home computer and I am at work. I will post later tonight.

You enter the beach cave and the first thing that catches your attention is the horse with saddle tied to a post stuck in the wall. You also notice discarded food, mostly fruit on the ground in the cave. You see some lit torches on the side of the walls illuminating the room. You see a corridor heading south that ends in a warped closed door, made to fit in the crevice of the wall.

Gyllan speaks quietly to his companions, saying "That's a clever thought, Cinn. Hadn't occurred to me that was Amber's horse. Don't know if Bones is much of a horseman."

Turning to the guardsman, he continues, "Luc, why don't you take a look at the horse as she suggests, and I'll take a listen at the door. Cinnamon, if we could have some light, it would be helpful, as I can't see without it. But first let's see if we can hear anything on the other side of this door."

Gyllan approaches the door as quietly as he can, keeping a hand on his scabbard to prevent it scraping on the tunnel wall. He puts an ear to the door and listens closely, but manages to wad his scarf up against his ear without realizing it.

I can try to drive it through the door, and then Eudo and I can charge in behind it and take the fight to the bird-men, while Cinn and Jun stay back and attack from the door. What do you think?”

Pausing a moment, Gyllan looks at Cinnamon and adds ”Your magic sounds worked well before, maybe you can come up with a sound to make just as we drive the horse in, to scare or confuse the tengu even more?”
