Anton sees Shaezon frowning down at his crossbow and then looks down at his own sling. I don't know why I didn't buy anything that might help in combat. This thing is useless. I must remember to purchase everything I need the next time I am able.


Timing - will take Weyland (with difficult terrain penalty) 370ft equivalent. Move at half speed on stealth, so about 25 rounds.
Weyland slips like a shadow towards the corner. Pepper mirrors him, moving to the other side.

Take from my post above to cause it confusion. DC 15 Fortitude save or: (from the above roll) 71=Deals 1d8 points of damage + Str modifier to self with item in hand. If it cannot do so, it will babble incoherently.

Note, if someone attacks it before it's turn (but after the effect goes off) it's turn will be to attack that person (a la Confuse), otherwise it will do as stated above for it's action.

It's Fortitude rather than will. Although it's like the Confuse spell (which is a will save), it seems the power requires a Fort

Anton takes aim with his loaded crossbow and fires it at the mimic.

Anton misses the creature - and Tarek succeeds in provoking it.
Rearing up the crushed figure of Pepper can be seen underneath, in between massive teeth - though whether he is alive or dead is difficult to say. His mangled body is spit out as the creature targets Tarek.
Happy to give Tarek some defensive bonuses for his posture... but not sure it is going to make a difference
