Climbing form the rubble in the river is the rotten form of a man dragging a ranseur behind him. He walks over the water as though it were solid, he faces you and speaks in an eerie, soggy voice: “You are not my tormentors. Throw the Stag Lord’s body into the river
that I may look upon his death, or join me instead.”

White eagle looks to carter and Raven he silently asks them if they are ready.

I have brought the burned remains of the Stag lord as well as some of those that followed him. this lady, the one called Raven was among those that defeated the Stag Lord. I present these remains to you, so that you may continue your journey into the afterlife with peace.

White Eagle opens the pouches and tosses them into the river toward the spirit.

With a contented sigh the horrible figure rots at an accelerated speed, it's viscera and bones melting into the water of the river. The ranseur falls to the water but instead of sinking it floats across the river's surface and washes up on the bank at your feet.

Jenya kneels for a little while at the river edge, staring at the spot where the tortured soul had disappeared. When we rebuild this bridge. We should keep it's old name. Nettles’ Crossing. she declares.

Rising up she brushes the dust off her legs. Well let's get going. We got folks to meet I think.

Turning to Raven, Thank you for the assistance by defeating this Stag Lord. What direction did your fellow teammate travel, perhaps we can join them on our way back.

Raven watches the interaction with interest, seeing the spirit dissolve into nothingness. She nods at Chief White Eagle.

"It seems we were both correct. This spirit is appeased and so is the Queen of Ravens." She looks about. "This needs to rebuilt as a crossing for travelers." Raven kneels down and runs her fingers through the water of the river. "From death, life."

Carter pulls in the boat with the hook of his khopesh.
"This may be important. Anyone able to see magic auras?"

"Allow me."

Kyras casts Detect Magic.

No magic resonates from the site, save perhaps those of you who might be carrying magic items.

You journey uneventfully back to Stag Fort, upon your return you find that the Fox's Antlers, with Nugrah's help have settled in quite comfortably at the fort.

Upon their arrival Kyras' eyes glance upon the refurbished fort.
"Quite a cleanup in just a few days."
