Chief White Eagle
The tusk gouges into White eagle leaving a bloody scar but he remains functional, his physical stamina proving invaluable at this time.
As one of the boars attempts to turn away to afce a new threat White Eagle tries to take advantage if the opening.
AOO: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21
damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
With one threatening boar now engaged elasewhere, White eagle concentrates on the boar in front of him.
attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
But in the confusion of battle the boar evades his spear thrust with ease, White Eagle tries to position himself a step closer to the gunman that seems to be at his aid.

Don't see how to update ditzie
Jenya 5 foot steps north west to get away from the boar's range of attack, reloads with a paper cartridge (Move action) and shoots it
Point blank ranged shot on touch, up close and deadly[/dice: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (4) + 8 = 121d8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 71d6 ⇒ 4

Chief White Eagle
Nearly knocked off balance by the ferocious attack White Eagle circles around to drive his spear into the boar.
attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18

My prayers have been answered Gozreh, I might live after all My characters is not dead, he is stabilized, but I'm assuming someone would take 20 on a heal check for my character taking 10 minutes of game time for first aid after the battle is over to wake him up. That way I can channel energy three times and heal us all for massive HP. I'm glad I'm only at -6 HP, as I came that close to instant death.
Jenya P.
Jenya five steps north east to get a bit closer to the boar which unfortunately doesn't bring it into her preferred range. She reloads with a paper cartridge and raises her weapon
Too far she mutters ..have to.. aim carefully.....
Normal range attack at 2 range penatly: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 61d8 ⇒ 7
... turns out it doesn't matter if her aim was true or not as her gun misfires..
Blast it. Weapon jammed
actually, a question. Does the weapon jam and I also pick a crit failure penalty from the table or just one or the other?
Range Fumble: 1d52 ⇒ 47 Wide Open - You are flat-footed for 1 round
Chief White Eagle
AOO in boar: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21
damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
AS the boar tries to flee White Eagle takes a final stab at it. thinking it would do better to die now than suffer in agony and die later. at least now we have food.
Kyras LeBlanc
Waking up from a short nap after loud noises, a green-haired half-elf stumbles into sight.
"Just when i tought dis landscape to be a little quiet. Someone's carryin a boomstick."
His accent is similar to cajun english, hence the grammar.
Jenya P.
With the last boar down the young gunner sighs with relief.
After checking on Hunter she gets down to the business of clearing her pistol's jam and loading it again with powder and shot rather than the significantly more expensive paper cartridges.
Name's Jenya she says as an introduction. Heard you guys were heading out and could use some backup. Boars made it easy to find you
Looking around at the other newcomer Jenya smiles and says Odd place for a nap mister. Boomstick's mine and his name is Misfire. I'm Jenya
Chief White Eagle
White Eagle drops his spear and goes to see on Hunter.
checking him over. i have treated wounds like this before back at my village. but these wounds sometimes never mend well. looking to the new girl with the gun.
You, Jenya, find cloth we can use as a bandage, this is an abdominal wound, we need to keep it covered or else disease will set in.
White Eagle fumbles through his pouch, producing a small bundle of herbs. opening them up and tossing aside the small leather wrappings, he crumbles them in his hand, then spits on them to moisten them up. he rolls them again to make a paste.
looking to the other newcommer as he does this. You, I need you as well, I need some of the blood of the boar that lies over there.
Looking back at hunter. it is a custome of my people that the blood of your enemy will ease the suffering it has inflicted upon you. and then its spirit will have made amends and can pass into the next world.
heal check: 1d20 + 10 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 10 + 2 = 14
ad-libbing here on the heal check, also would it be alright if I add a healers kit to White Eagle's inventory, as he probably would have gathered the supplies in his travels since he sort of filled the role of healer. also if hunter is not continuing I don't want to use my only cure light spell.
While it seems White eagle is ignoring Jenya's introduction, it is also evident he is engrossed in hie efforts to care for his fallen traveelling partner.
You will be fine Hunter, the wounds will heal, but it is not uncommon for those with such wounds to return to safety for rest. I am afraid that your days of exploring are over. I will welcome you nto my trabe when we migrate to these noew lands. you may stay with us.
Kyras LeBlanc
Kyras greets Jenya with the two finger salute.
"Greetin's. Name's Kyras, my friend will be 'ere in a bit, after 'elping your wounded friend 'ere."
He hears the serious toned request from the man.
"Blood of the enemies? Dat is risky non? Bacteriae from an animal are usually 'armful to you."
Despite it, he rips off a chunk of bloody flesh from the boar and hands it to CWE.
"Dough, if you don't mind, i can 'elp 'im faster getting to dan dis. Just a simple touch."
Chief White Eagle
soon Hunter is patched up, and well enough to travel. White eagle explains the trail back to the Temple for him.
he then looks to the others.
It would seem that the boars have attracted more than just flies. I am White eagle, my not so lucky companion is Hunter. I am on a hunt to find and possibly tame the wild boar known a Tuskgutter.
from among the trees a bald eagle soars down landing on White eagle's padded arm guard. and this is Elangomat, my friend and trusted scout.
White eagle skwaks to Elangomat and the eagle is off flying again to scout the area from the sky.
White eagle instructed him to perform a similar circular check of the area as he usually does
elangomat perception: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (20) + 14 = 34
White Eagle uses his speak with animals hex to communicate with elangomat
Jenya P.
Jenya nods at everyone with a smile though she does start a bit as Kyras summons someone.
Alright, we're tracking a boar right? You seem like you could use some healing before we do so though White Eagle?
Chief White Eagle
White eagle looks to his own wounds.
True enough. If you do have healing then we can use that now. but we need to move while the trail is fresh enough to follow.
waiting to see the results of Elangomat's scouting
as to the others.
It is good to know that one skilled in magic is here. Again, I am White Eagle. with the loss of my previous travel companions I would not turn away any assistance you are willing to offer. When time permits, we may sit by the fire and learn more of our stories.
Kyras LeBlanc
"Ah, you could use some 'eal magic? I should note dough, dis is 'ealing of another plane.",
Infernal healing, gives fast healing 1, heal 1 hp per round, lasts 1 minute.
Chief White Eagle
looking to Kyras, there are many planes and states of existence, some for good other for ill. If you can channel the energy for good then such an action will get no argument from me. such ability is a reflection of the one who uses the power.
In short, if you can use a dark power for good, then to him that shows you can be trusted.
Kyras LeBlanc
A corner of Kyras' mouth arches up.
"Just askin.."
He holds his palm open and presses a glowing hand on CWE's shoulder.
"You should feel de effect over de next minute."
Chief White Eagle
White Eagle feels the burning through his blood but slowly the wounds close and heal over.
looking to the new companions. There is a wild boar that is known as Tuskgutter. I have been tracking the beast in the hopes to tame it, but failing that, kill it. My feeling is we will be resigned to the later, but I would like the chance to tame the beast first.
Jenya P.
I think Engolmat the eagle should get the credit here :) That was a 34 perception roll!
Alright chief. Lead the way
Jenya will try to move quietly behind CWE, making sure to reload her pistol with powder and shot to prepare for any potential unpleasantness.
Stealth: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24
Chief White Eagle
With Elangomat's return, White Eagle leads the group, following the boar's trail.
survival to track: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (8) + 10 = 18
His spear in hand. he motions for all to remain vigilant and as quiet as possible.

The three (4+an eagle) of you head east, following the trail of the boars. These 200lb creatures were not subtle in their passage, they tore up the ground with their feet and scoured trees with their tusks. They feed primarily by digging up roots and tubers, as well as by scavenging anything edible at ground level.
You follow their trail for an hour or so when you come across a clearing, in the center of the clearing is a boar, larger than the other two. It is busily snuffling in the dirt, digging up some morsel or other.
Chief White Eagle
White Eagle send Elangomat off to a nearby tree, no need for him to get injured if things go wrong.
he then motions for everyone to get down, stay quiet.
stealth: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8
but as he says this his foot snaps a twig possibly revealing his location.
ready action if this boar notices white eagle and turns to face him he will cast charm animal

Sure enough the creature freezes, then draws it's head up and looks right at White Eagle. The tiny eyes of the boar do not have great vision, but their hearing and smell make up the difference.
In the moonlight you can see the silver bristles along the creature's face. White Eagle speaks the words and makes the motions of the spell to charm animals but the creature smells the blood it's sows. It snuffles in rage and charges White Eagle.
The boar charges (ac penalty) White Eagle and gores him with it's tusks. 10 damage.
I'll put together a map in a few.
Chief White Eagle
well so much for that plan... did it make the save or did i not get the spell off? - for spell usage tracking
Chief White Eagle
ok cool, its a 1/day ability so I know its used now
well so much for that infernal healing spell (10 up and 10 down)
Jenya P.
Don't think I need the map for this
Just have bad luck with boars today seems like Jenya says as she circles around to get a flank on the boar with Chief White Eagle (while still keeping a 5 foot distance) and firing at the boar's back, making sure the shot is as deadly as she can make it
Point blank shot on touch flanked boar with one grit spent on up close and deadly: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (11) + 8 = 191d8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 71d6 ⇒ 3
Chief White Eagle
did Alanya just attack CWE? :o
White eagle's prior wound is re-opened. as he winces in pain.
his blood soaked hands grip his spear and he brings it down on the boar.
attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12
Chief White Eagle
No, are you accusing a woman of that? I must have forgotten to type "to attack the boar", it's been corrected.
I figured that, I was just joking by the way you originally had it posted.
