Freddy studies the dogs as they interact with rhe fire.

there is somerhing more to this.

Freddy you saved but you still take half damage, so 3 fire damage.

Freddy:
You notice that yes it seems like they are bubbling and boiling, and the creature's movements become sluggish they are not acting as if the fire is hurting them.

As Vuvu hits the last imminent threat, the dog explodes into a jet of fire as well.

The corpses of the first two burning dogs are on the ground now, the jets of flame have subsided and the charred body with a pile of liquid around it of its own body.

The other dog burns and lies quietly down.

Dogs 4 and 3, move around not for sure what to do, pacing around on the debris next to the fort.

Vuvu moves next to a corpse and examines the fluid.

Vuvu bends down to examine the first corpse, and a large maw with three tentacles burst forth from the dog's corpse.
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25 for each tentacle. Only one tentacle hits so no grapple check, though it does 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5 damage as the little mouth on the end of the tentacle takes a small bite out of you!
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13
Who has seen tremors? Well yes it does look sorta like that. If you need clarification please post/PM me.

I am not going near that thing.

Vuvu says as he leans back down and examines the fluids.

Male Cleric 1

Freddy moves slightly to get a better look at a near dog that is dead and shoots a flame bolt at it.

not sure if they all have a parasite but burning them out dosen't seem a bad idea to me

Yes, Lecloront you would have hit the corpse, the arrow would have driven in a few inches, but nothing happened besides that.

Freddy I am assuming you are shooting the flame bolt at one of the charred dog's corpses, not the tremor. Please state in the future what you target and a number, especially if the enemies are numbered. Which I will try to number them before we start.

The flame hits dead on target, though the flame seems to dwindle quickly, within seconds.

Is flame bolt a special, spell, or what?

Vuvu what do you mean "that thing?" are you talking about the tremor who took a bite out of you?

Vuvu:
You think that the liquid is all organic, it seems to have catalytic properties, similar to your bombs though it seems that the energy is used in a different manner, actually like your mutagens. You probably think to yourself: Oh no, that means fire makes them grow or mutate or worse...

Lecloront I did not move you, you should still be at the one spot, putting the hole between you and the dogs.

Remember to Post "Round #" so I know what round the post is for. Thanks!

Yes I meant the one that bit me. It was a moment of comedy that failed. I am not going near that thing, then he promtply examined it.

Fire is a bad idea!! No more fire!

If you are examining the creature, you may do knowledge checks to try to figure out what it is. You may do a knowledge check untrained but the knowledge you will get will not be higher than a DC 10. One knowledge check per round as a swift action, you may also do another one in place of a move action. Please note when your knowledge check is untrained.

Nature Swift 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (11) + 9 = 20 Arcana as Move 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (11) + 9 = 20

Then Vuvu draws his cane, and mutagen.

Round 4
Vuvu, you already did an alchemy check this round, so you may reserve the Arcana check until next round. Please post with Round 4 at the top.

Knowledge Nature DC 10:
The dog appeared to be a normal canine. Though obviously it was infested or something, perhaps it was a mutation of some sort. It is no longer an animal.

sorry, holding my action that same action for round 5

So I guess the question now is: Do you poke the corpses of the dogs or go around the other side of the quarry?

vuvu makes those checks on the corpse if he can if not all good.

Vuvu:
It is possible some horrible arcane magic has twisted the dogs, though it is hard to tell.

Ruby relays, basically what you see: two dogs at the entrance, seems clear around the quarry, the other dogs who ran away can not be seen anymore. Nothing noteworthy left to say.

Well that was horrific. Poor animals.

Vuvu follows along in the middle of the pack, pondering the warping of the animals.

Vuvu is obviosuly deeply disturbed at harming the dogs, and then at what they have become.

No one has said what they are really doing or how they are moving. So right now, you are all in rounds bascially for I don't know what you are doing.

Round 5

Hemmings re-sets his rapier, and unshoulders the shortbow once again. He cautiously follows the cleric around the edge of the quarry pit, staying well clear of the dog corpses. Seeing the dogs are too far away for a good shot, he holds back from firing for now, ready in case they charge this way.
