J. What's my XP? Do I take average of the group?
Everyone is on the same amount but these adventures tell me what level you should be at varying parts of the story so I just arbitrarily tell you all when to level up. This is easier for me because it's one less thing to track.

Yea DM will roll a % chance to see who goes first us or monsters
To make things easier for myself and to keep things moving quickly I'm introducing a house-ruled initiative system. When combat is about to start there will be a default 50/50 chance of either monsters or heroes acting first. I will roll initiative checks individually for you guys which will be against a set DC. If you equal or beat this DC, it provides the heroes with an additional +10% chance of acting first for a cumulative total of 100%. If you fail the DC it provides a cumulative -10% penalty to a minimum of 10%
The mechanic will be;
1d20 + perception modifier + initiative modifier (so feats like improved initiative aren't totally devalued)
The DC will be;
15+CR+iniative modifer
Once the heroes act, initative for them will effectively change each round and will be determined by who posts first. This means Gelbor and Davos aren't waiting to post because it's Domingos turn for example.

Dom roll for it please, 94/100 you'll have it good odd's. It gives me the same AC bonus it's just better +dex and less AC for stealth and such.

It doesn't improve my ac either and I don't need the stealth bonus really. So you have it it's more important for you to be stealthy. So it is yours dude.

Ok I think we need to discuss enemy hp.
In the current fight, Kennos clearly has the intention of taking this girl alive. However, Davos' frost beam dropped her into negatives before Kennos acted.
Traditionally we have always played enemies as -1 HP = dead and that's what I've been doing in description so far.

It was more for role playing, but there will be times we wanna take people alive and will be hard if some kills them on a post before you say you want them alive or do none lethal damage

J. Question about 0 level spells. In the description of Orisons in the Cleric class, it says:
"Clerics can prepare a number of orisons, or 0-level spells, each day, as noted on Table: Cleric under “Spells per day.” These spells are treated like any other spell, but they are not expended when cast and may be used again."
Now does that mean that I can pray for four 0 level spells per day, but can then cast them as many times as I like that day?
Exactly. Once you prepare them in the morning you can cast them an unlimited number of times per day

Their effectively dead at -1, i see nothing wrong in use then us healing them or casting stabilize, if we really do want to take them alive.

I am carrying two 50' lengths of silk rope and two grapples, plus the sunrod. The rope and grapples can be sold when we get out of here. So can everything else as far as I am concerned. I'll keep the sunrod though.
I'm also carrying a light crossbow and bolts, but will keep them I think.

House Rule: A common house rule is to allow recovery of hit points from resting to also include the characters Constitution bonus. So, a character that has rested normally overnight would recover 1 hp per character level + his Con bonus.
Do we use this rule? Or is it just 2 hp from resting?

You can use the heal skill to get double your level back in hp but only if you are providing long term care which in itself takes at least a full day.

Can't you rest a full day for double your level back so example 4 for level 2 and if you use long term care with that you get 8?
