Snark
Snark moves stealthily along the flank of the group, claiming that gives him a better shot while in fact he just wants to get away from the zealot and his preaching.
Stealth 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (13) + 15 = 28

A huge hulking spider hangs above you in the trees, only Vilthik and Snark notice the creature creeping in it's web.
So we are in a surprise round now. Snark and Vilthik take your actions in any order and I will resolve it with the spiders attack.
- Snark
- Vilthik
- Spider
- Scrapeknee
- Farg Farg
Vilthik Manytongues
Surprise Round
"Spider-beastie in the trees!" Vilthik hisses through his teeth, bringing up his handaxe and short sword in front of his body and crouching low, waiting in a guarded stance.
Total defense, raising AC and Touch AC by 4 for one round.
Status:
HP: 12/12
AC: 21, Touch 19, Flat-Footed 13
Snark
Surprise round
"Be that lots-legs?" Without any further word Snark shoots at the spider.
Attack vs touch AC, Spider is flat footed I think 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13
Damage if hit: 1d12 ⇒ 2
Chief Rendwattle
Snark's shot rings out breaking any peace that existed in the marsh. The bullet flies through the air and rips through one of the spiders legs forcing it to dangle at the joint. Yellow slime oozes from the wound and it drops from it's web landing in the middle of you all. The spider struggles up, its fangs glistening with poison and its deep black eyes stare at Vilthik before it attacks.
Spider Bite Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
The spiders teeth sink into the ground by Vilthik's feet.
Snark and Vilthik take your turns in any order please :)
Vilthik Manytongues
Vilthik steps away from the spider's fangs with a snap-step and slides sideways slightly to deliver a strike.
Five-foot step to flank with Farg Farg and strike with handaxe.
Attack: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (20) + 9 = 29 (+2 Flank, +1 Goblin Foolhardiness)
Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 4
Confirmation: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (14) + 9 = 23
Critical Damage: 3d4 ⇒ (2, 3, 2) = 7
Scrapeknee
"Many legs!" Scrapeknee lobs a javelin at the spider Assuming it is still alive after the damage others have done. -4 for throwing into melee already counted in
1d20 - 1 ⇒ (4) - 1 = 3
If that hits, damage is
1d4 - 1 ⇒ (3) - 1 = 2
Chief Rendwattle
Snark reloads. However Vilthik moves in chopping deep into the spiders abdomen, you pull the axe back out and sickly fluids pour from the wound.
The spider grazes Scrapeknee with it's attack, however this graze is enough to inject the poison.
Bite Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 = 20
Bite Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 1
Scrapeknee make a DC 14, Fort save to resist the poison please :)
Scrapeknee throws a javelin which punches into a nearby tree. Fangface rips a leg off completely and the spider rears up in anger and pain. Farg Farg sees his opportunity and strikes the spider piercing through its eyes. Yellow blood spurts from the wound and the spider falls flat on the ground it is mauled and dead, it's hunger for Goblin meat no more.
You guys killed that fast ;) should have stayed in the trees spraying webs at you all :P
Snark
"We is be champions! We is be champions! We is be champions of all Goblinkind!" Snark chants, his voice squeaky and hoarse. He then walks over to the spider and starts examining it for interesting bits.
Scrapeknee
Scrapeknee eyes the tree and wonders what it could have done to incur the wrath of the goddess. If he can retrieve his weapon, he does, then rejoins the others who are looking at the spider.
Farg farg
Farg Farg jumps from Fangfaces back and begins to hop around, making sounds simular to an mixture of an owl hooting and a mouse squeeking. THe cavalier grabs his mounts front legs and begins to strangly hop and dance. The wolf constantly snapps at the goblin's face but the goblin dodges them and luaghs as if it where the best game ever. We be killing that Many legs quick like aint we Fangface! Not many legs now, we made uh..no many legs!"Farg farg dances for a few more seconds before shoving his wolf friend awayand turning to the others. "You all see way I kill that? Hells yeah! I be big hero! You guys too, they sing songs about us! We get many hot goblin girls for this!"
Chief Rendwattle
You see the unmistakeable trail of webs leading under the trees and beyond past the creek. Following them leads you to a deadfall of old rotted trees. Thick webs line the area and scattered about is at least a dozen stinking bodies. Several are Goblins corpses with a couple of the bodies been human. You have found Lotsa legs lair!!!
Vilthik Manytongues
Vilthik grins as he sees the human corpses. "Lots-Legs been busy," he notes. "Oh yes, this one is very good at findy-find just like sneaky-sneak. Killing Lots-Legs will make us legend." He follows Farg farg forward, scanning the heights for any spiders.
Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15
Snark
Snark silently follows the others to the lair while cleaning the muzzle of his gun with a bit of spittle.
"Is lots of dead bigs here. Too bad spider so stupid or we's be friends." Snark then joins his fellow in searching the nest.
Perception 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21
Chief Rendwattle
Searching the bodies you find:
Snark
"Niceties! Anyone know what potions this be? Unless they are marked or something I's like pretty, shiny, white bullet. Make good trophy amulet." He already had the pearl in his hands, rolling it around between his fingers.
Scrapeknee
Scrapeknee eyes the potions, wishing he had studied more... cast detect magic. "Not sure what do what, but this got magic glow, an this too. And that.." He says pointing to the potions
Vilthik Manytongues
Vilthik shrugs. "I say yous hold on to magics, then, Scrapeknee. Since yous can see they magic. Maybes if you find out what kind of magics I take one. You might takes crossbow, too. Better range than javelin."
Scrapeknee
Scrapeknee gathers the potion and crossbow as suggested, "Maybe one potions heal. That very popular with sneaky humans. They should die, then they drink, then they no die. VERY annoying."
Chief Rendwattle
You set on your way once more and after another half an hour of travel reach the ship wreck. You can see the waves in the distance and hear the water lapping on the shore. The ship itself is huge and deeply embedded in a shallow pool of water; the marsh itself seems to be swallowing the vessel. The ship has two masts that rise high into the air, the sails still blowing in the wind. Suddenly a rattling alerts you attention and upon looking closer you see Goblin skeletons hanging on what seems to be a large wooden fence surrounding the ship, forming a makeshift garden. A thick curl of smoke wafts up from a chimney that protrudes from an unusual box like structure near the ship’s bow. From inside the garden you hear the unmistakable sound of a horse neighing.
Vilthik Manytongues
Vilthik spits on the ground. "Horses mean humans. And look hows they dangle rattly bones to try and spooks us. Man-creatures thinks they so smart. We see how crafty they are with no tongues. I say we sneaky-sneak and stabs them in their dumb faces."
Snark
"Goody. Horse is bad but dead horse taste good. I's feel like a snack." Snark once again checks his gun before he lowers into a crawl and starts sneaking up.
Stealth 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (1) + 15 = 16
Scrapeknee
Scrapeknee follows suit, trying to sneak around as well, and looking for uncleantootallnogoodreadingtoejam , also known as humans.
Stealth
1d20 + 9 ⇒ (6) + 9 = 15
Perception
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
Chief Rendwattle
You sneak around looking past the gate and into the Garden area. You don't see any humans but what you do see is Four legs holding up a large leathery skinned frame. Each bone is outlined clearly, all forming into a demonic looking Horse. You can just see it's bloodshot red eyes from where you are but it makes no motion to move, so clearly it hasn't spotted you yet.
Farg farg
"Charge! GitemFangface!
Farg farg charges in on Fangface to attack the horse.
Attack: 1d20 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 6 + 2 = 16
Damage: 1d4 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7
Bane vs Horse Damage: 2d6 ⇒ (4, 3) = 7
Fangface attack: 1d20 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 + 2 = 23+2 to hit CMD for trip
Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
Vilthik Manytongues
Vilthik cocks his head at Farg farg's sudden attack and opts to stay hidden, crouching and moving stealthily along the outskirts of the shipwreck, trying to put eyes on any humans or other enemies that might be lurking about.
Stealth: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (18) + 16 = 34
Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 17
Snark
Snark slowly moved closer, aimed and then shot at the horse. Horse were nasty and this one didn't even look good for eating.
Stealth: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (13) + 15 = 28
Attack vs Touch: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11 Damage 1d12 ⇒ 3
Attacking undetected gives a +2 if I remember correctly. Partially compensates the -2 for shooting into melee.
Chief Rendwattle
Scrapeknee: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
Farg Farg: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
Snark: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
Horse: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11
Surprise Round:
Farg Farg charges in on his Steed ripping the nose from the horse in a spray of blood and snot, just as Fang Face chomps into the leg of the beast bringing it to its knees.
It lets out a strangled screaming, whinny. Snark sneaks over and lets out a single ear piercing shot, the bullet rips through the horses brain and out the other side lodging itself in the wood of the ship with a strange wet slapping sound.
The horse lies dead in a pool of blood, its head almost completely destroyed.
