Might as well get this reserved. Or something.

That's cos you're an overachiever. :-)

I had a paladin for a homebrew that I really, really liked. I'm considering reforging him, and yet I have a 1st lvl bloodrager that I haven't even been able to do anything with since the Carrion Crown AP he was gonna be in has died.

What to choose, what to choose...

Five-star Hound of Tindalos. Er, GM. Whatever. | RoW Encounter Map |

Welcome Qstor and SinBlade06.

Qstor brings up something I should've clarified: as long as it's PFS legal, with or without a special boon (i.e., the ifrit race), I'll consider it fair game for this game. (Why PFS legal? Cos that way I have just one set of parameters I've gotta follow across all of my games, and I'm lazy that seems prudent.)

So I've made my bloodrager into a regular barbarian, and he's now society legal!

I plan on putting his info up on his page in a bit, but I think this is who I'm going to be playing!

is there still room?

Five-star Hound of Tindalos. Er, GM. Whatever. | RoW Encounter Map |

Sure, querty1971, you're in.
That's four. :-)

Mordenaar, Slayer
Achmed, Sorcerer
Kedlin, Barbarian

There is a fair amount of roleplay in this, particularly since we'll be in campaign mode, touching on a variety of skills; so you'll want to be sure to consider that as a party.

sign up

looks like there is a lack of divine, maybe a warpriest...

Sczarni

Male Half-Idiot (so's the other half) Commoner/Moron 2/3

At first level, Warpriest is not a very good at combat, so I'd recommend staying in the back or something.

that is what kedlin is for...

I will finish up my char and dot in soon.

Mordenaar is built to be a smart warrior. He's perfectly happy to talk, but he's not a charmer by any stretch. We could definitely use some healing. We've got a few months, and I'm not married to the character, I'm happy to play around with something else. I have an inquisitor I'm also itching to try.

i made mine a ranged inquisitor. never played inquisitor before. trying it out. has some heals.

This will start after PbP Gameday IV closes, target date Jan 4, 2016.

Oh great and glorious Thunderspirit in the sky, I know you're running in campaign mode, but I am going to be applying this to a PFS character. I figure I'd give you the bookkeeping now:

Name: Chris Marsh
Character: Mordenaar
PFS #: 1824-17
Faction: Liberty's Edge

Looking forward to this. Once GameDay IV closes down I'm going to strictly limit myself on the number of concurrent PbPs so that I can give them each their due.

While this is always easier said than done, I have efforted this myself over the past several months and have found it to be a necessary evil. In all things, Real Life Comes First [tm]. (Even when Real Life sucks.)

Also: Only #17? Slacker. ;-)

Recap:
Mordenaar (DM S), Slayer
Achmed (qstor), Sorcerer
Kedlin (SinBlade06), Barbarian
Valgrim (qwerty1971), Inquisitor

You're a bit light on healing, but resource management isn't a big part of the backstory here so you can buy what you need (up to the limits of the community, anyway). Also keep in mind that this is written to test more than just one face skill (and more than once), and as usual it's better to specialize than try to be a jack-of-all, so don't be afraid to divide those skills up.

We had one more who was interested way back when I originally offered this in the Flaxseed Lodge, so if Steven_Evil still wants to play I'll let him in. Otherwise, I'mma lock this in at four; that's the number for which the module is written and it'll keep me from having to make too many adjustments (like DM S's group has me doing in Reign of Winter, LOL).

Liberty's Edge

Human (Kellid) Slayer (Collector) (HP: 57/67), Init: +7, AC: 21 T: 13, FF: 19, Perception +11, F: +8, R: +8, W: +4, CMB: +1, CMD: 23

I had bookmarked this for -17 a long time ago. Agent 1824-28 is in a Core run of Shades of Ice now.

I'm a big believer in parties having diplomacy, bluff, and intimidate (in that order.) From my phone, however, I don't remember what Mordenaar is good at.

I have NO idea what you mean about Reign of Winter ;-)

Magnificent! Glad we'll be (eventually) starting!

I just realized I still need to put Kedlin's character sheet on his profile...will a Myth-Weaver link count?

If I can access it without logging in, that works okay.

If not, any of Google Drive/One Drive/Dropbox/insert web hosting site here will do. Would like data in the header similar to what Mordenaar and/or Valgrim has — most of the time, that's plenty.

MAP TEMPLATES | Giantslayer | Skull & Shackles |

Doh, so Mordenaar is not currently good at ANY kind of social skill. I don't mind spending a point on one now, but I'll suck at it.

Five-star Hound of Tindalos. Er, GM. Whatever. | RoW Encounter Map |

We haven't started yet, so feel free to rebuild in some fashion or another.

Or, if you'd rather, have him "learn" that stuff as he goes.

I prefer the roleplay method for this one...

Sovereign Court

Male Sor 6 HP 32 | AC 14 (18); Touch 13; FF 17 | F +5; R +6; W +6 | CMB +3; CMD 13 | Speed 30 ft | Init +1 | Perc +0 | Stealth: +1 Sorcerer 6

The PFS PC I wanted to apply this too is an Irit so I'd prefer NONCore if that's what people want.

Also I wouldn't be adverse to recruiting one more person.

Liberty's Edge

Human (Kellid) Slayer (Collector) (HP: 57/67), Init: +7, AC: 21 T: 13, FF: 19, Perception +11, F: +8, R: +8, W: +4, CMB: +1, CMD: 23

The GM is planning on running this in Story Mode. This means it's not core. We'll still get chronicles (actually you get an extra in story mode.) I'm going to keep this character and a apply these chronicles to a devoted character.

Sovereign Court

Male Sor 6 HP 32 | AC 14 (18); Touch 13; FF 17 | F +5; R +6; W +6 | CMB +3; CMD 13 | Speed 30 ft | Init +1 | Perc +0 | Stealth: +1 Sorcerer 6

My friend wanted to join but the recruitment thread isn't activate. He's an experienced PbP player.

Hello All! As qstor said, I'm happy to play (though I've already gotten PFS credit for this adventure, I'm happy to play without credit).
What's the party makeup looking like? I'm sure I have at least five builds floating around to fill any perceived hole in the party. :)

Mkay so we have a Slayer, Sorcerer, Barbarian and Inquisitor. Let's see... how about a Mesmerist? I have a Calistrian Mesmerist with a wasp familiar I've been wanting to play. :)

I actually think Thunderspirit wanted to keep a party of 5 (no 90s show references intended.)

He did. But then one of the other people who wanted to play back in June declined to join (just got confirmation via PM) so that leaves a spot open...one I am willing to offer to the (in)famous cartmanbeck. :-)

My initial instinct is to request to not to GM for an occult class in this — crash-course-ing a level 14 psychic [redacted] for a recent 7-11 fried my mind on occult classes quite enough. But I'm willing to listen and perhaps be convinced otherwise.

I'm fine with picking a different character, Thunderspirit. Let's see what else I have sitting around... this starts at 1st level, if I recall, correct?

What about a Carnivalist Rogue with a mini-dino familiar? I've got a fun build for him, and he'll be a lot of fun to RP as well.

Five-star Hound of Tindalos. Er, GM. Whatever. | RoW Encounter Map |

That should be fine. Go ahead and post him on the Gameplay thread when you're ready to go.

Oh meant to ask, is the Unchained version of the rogue okay with you? The only thing it really changes is giving me Finesse Training at this level.

Unchained is just fine.

FYI, all: just got word from Kedlin that he's had to withdraw from the game.

Paizo typically writes its modules for a four PC party on a 15-point stat buy (Dragon's Demand is no exception), so you guys don't need another character to step in and could run with what you have. (When I played this, we had a Swashbuckler, ranged Warpriest, Wizard/early-entry Eldritch Knight, and a Hunter and we did fine.)

I'm willing to roll with what you have; if someone feels strongly to the contrary, now would be a good time to say something. :-)

I'm totally fine with just four of us.

Liberty's Edge

Human (Kellid) Slayer (Collector) (HP: 57/67), Init: +7, AC: 21 T: 13, FF: 19, Perception +11, F: +8, R: +8, W: +4, CMB: +1, CMD: 23

I'm fine with it. I like a challenge.

we have ranged divine (will focus on heal spells), flaming arcane, slayer-melee, rogue for traps, just need to figure out who will do the talking and as long as we do not rush into combat needlessly we should be good.

Liberty's Edge

Human (Kellid) Slayer (Collector) (HP: 57/67), Init: +7, AC: 21 T: 13, FF: 19, Perception +11, F: +8, R: +8, W: +4, CMB: +1, CMD: 23

We don't have an excellent Face-man, and I'd like one, but I'm not sure I know anyone with the bandwidth at the moment.

No worries, you won't need to talk to anyone. Ever. ;-)

a melee/face with heals and an alpha strike would be better....just saying...
