Seleena finally strikes back at her attacker, burying her blade into his gut and he crumples to the floor in a pool of blood. The attacker with the yellow pants charges in and swings his sword at Kalak, but misses wildly. The eagle swoops in and bite out a chunk of flesh, just before Sesska finishes him off with a bolt of arcane energy. Lara then fires back at her attacker, her arrow striking him right in the chest and felling him.

Kolris, coming from behind a stack of boxes, slips around the corner to try to take out the agent in blue. He approaches from hiding quickly, hoping to get the advantage.

Kolris steps out of the shadows and smacks the last Aspis agent upside the head, leaving a bit of a lump, but nothing too serious. The fighter brings his sword around in return, striking Kolris right in the side, though it catches just enough of his armor to keep it from being a lethal blow.

Seeing Kolris take a hit, Kalak holds back a swear and rushes toward the last standing enemy. She punches him with all her strength, but avoids hitting where it would risk being lethal.

Finding that her head seems clearer Corona continues to clank her way towards the melee - or what's left of it, at any rate. She stops next to Lara, noticing that her fellow Pathfinder seemed to be having some trouble finding her mark with her bow.

"It's okay New Friend, I'm sure you'll get him with the next one," she says, giving Lara an encouraging pat on the shoulder.

Corona moves to her current map position and casts Guidance on Lara!

Kolris, reeling from a powerful hit that nearly took him down, focuses on defending himself from another strike like that. He takes a quick step back, and keeps his sap up and between him and the Aspis agent.

Greevax the Death Talon charges the remaining foe, clipping Seleena's hair just barely with his wings.

Charge, Rage, Higher Ground: 1d20 + 3 + 2 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 3 + 2 + 1 + 1 = 15

Meanwhile Sesska fires off another bolt of arcane energy.

The Pathfinders easily surround and take down the final assailant, the Aspis agent falling to a blast of energy from Sesska's wand.

The party cleans up the mess that was made during the battle, moves all the crates back, and dumps the bodies into a corner for someone else to figure out.

Shortly afterwards, Delroya and her contacts arrive to move the goods from the warehouse, and she sends some items to the Pathfinder Society in thanks for their assistance.

Later, back on board the ship and safely on your way home, Ambrus Valsin personally thanks you for your successful mission, stating that you dealt a major blow to the Aspis Consortium’s operations on the Isle of Kortos, and prevented a great deal of suffering from spreading across the Inner Sea region. He speaks highly of your discretion among the nobility of the Isle of Kortos.

Delroya is aboard the ship with you, and attends the meeting with the venture-captain. Valsin commends you for representing the best qualities of Pathfinders. Delroya herself remains quiet during the meeting, but her demeanor has softened a great deal since the ordeal in Diobel, and it is clear that she feels at home among the Pathfinders.

Although happy to have concluded another mission (apparently with flying colors, at that) Corona seems a little sad on the return journey back to Absalom.

"There's never enough time to get to know all my New Friends as well as I'd like," she sighs. "But still, it was really nice to meet everyone! Maybe we'll get to work together again soon?"

Then she starts, as if remembering something. "Oh! I almost forgot," she gasps and begins furiously rifling through her pack for something. After a few moments she pulls out what look to be individually-wrapped pieces of...something. "Victory cornbread for everyone!" she grins.

Sesska's tongue flits in and out of her mouth rapidly.

After accepting her individually wrapped gift, and untying the pretty red ribbon the accompanies it, Sesska turns to Delroya, "One of the less talked about benefits of being a Pathfinder..."

Lara cracks an amused smile at Corona as she accepts the gift. "I'll make sure to savor it while I'm on the trail tomorrow," she says. "Perhaps we'll work together again, sometime."

Kalak is quiet on the way back. She simply nods when the group receives Valsin's commendation.

When Corona hands out pieces of cornbread, Kalak gives a faint smile. "Thank you. Maybe we will meet again." She nibbles at the cornbread, nods at Sesska's words and smiles again to show her appreciation to Corona.

Seleena gives a nod and a brash smile. "We did it. I think my favorite part was the look on that inn keeper's face..."
