Toshi will cast (and hold the charge for) Arcane Mark, move up to the vacated square, and swing his sword for the first time as a full agent!
lsword: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 161d8 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11 If it hits, he gets a Will to not have the Ibi house mark on him where I stab.
"Maybe applying a personal mark while attempting to be secret is a bad idea. Oops."

Khamul casts a spell and reaches in to touch the man, but the man dodges the bad touch!
Artemis fires two arrows through the doorway, but only hits with one!
Toshi steps in the middile of the fray and cuts the man with his sword!
The man reaches into his pack and drinks a potion, turning invisible!

Actually, Spellstrike is attained at 2nd; I was just trying to grope around and mark him to see if he as actually still in that given square. So he (unfortunately) shouldn't be dead, plus I doubt an 8 touches.

Oh well, he was close to being down.
Searching the man's belongings, you find a potion of cure moderate wounds, [i]potion of invisibility, smokesticks (3), leather armor, masterwork dagger, daggers (4), feather token (bird), nightdrops, chalk, hooded lantern, ink, inkpen, oil (2 pints), 10 sheets of paper, thieves’ tools, tindertwig (10), weapon blanch (cold iron), and 60 gp. No indentifing belonging are found.
After deciding what to do with the man, the party starts to head back to town only to find what looks to be the entire town waiting outside! The sheriff and the inquisitor, Ekira, stand at the forefront. As soon as you appear, Ekira shouts. "There they are! Arrest them sheriff, thery're cold-blooded killers!"
The sheriff looks at you questioningly. "Well?"

"I have no idea what you are talking about. I'm quite insulted that you would believe me a murderer. I'm a world renowned musician from the Del'Sol family and only fight in self defense." Artemis responds to the challenge.

Tobias Luin holds his hand up to Ekira and nods to the party. "You know they at least ge tthe benfit of a trial, Ekira." Staring at Artemis, he says. "No time like the present." Glancing at the mob that has gathered, he adds. "I'd say we have a jury of peers. Let's hear what you have to say for yourself."
At this point you can present present evidence and arguments to Luin and Ekira. Each piece of evidence allows the a PC to attempt a Diplomacy or Profession (barrister) check to sway the opinions of the sheriff, inquisitor, and crowd. Each piece of evidence grants a bonus on that check and, if successful, all subsequent checks as well.

"Well there was the fact that one of the bodies was picked up and dumped on Otto's farm as evidenced by the amount of blood and the tracks to and from Dawnton. And this button that that we found at the crime scene. It's not from around here and we didn't bring it. Oh and this note that has the same handwriting that the Society was sent that led them to send agents here in the first place and the note to the sheriff." Rayne will present said button and note.

"Lets just say we are a third party interested in the situation that has cropped up here. Looking into some of the things that have happened here I think the Pathfinders you are accusing are quite innocent. As my assistant here has mentioned. A body has been moved from where a crime was originally committed, a button form a foreign area has been located at the scene, and we have some handwriting samples that look a little fishy."
Artemis says stringing together the information they have found in the town.

Sorry, must have missed the updates this weekend.

Artemis steps up, clears his throat and presents an eloquent display of logic and jurisprudence. The crowd listens rapt with attentionas the all the evidence is laid out, even Ekira nodding in agreement at certain points.
At the end, Tobias glances over at Ekira, the sherriff obviously swayed. Ekira stares ahrd at the party for a moment, then hangs her head. "It would appear I was mistaken. I declare this group innocent, as well as the incarcerated Pathfinders....." She then turns and stomps off, clearly unhappy and digusted.
With the prisoners in tow, the party heads back to the Starrise Spire for debriefing. Venture Captain Jorsal congratulates the party on a job well done and the three imprisoned Pathfinders all thank you profusely, advising to look them up if you are ever in need....
The End...
Man, sorry this was such a slog! I will say, after running this at GenCon, that if you ever run this, do it face to face, ot goes much smoother. This one is just horrible for the PbP format.
I'll have chronicles to you here in a little bit. Thanks for playing and apologies for the long drudge.

Thanks for running! I forget if I have a djob! But then I looked and I do!

You can't handle the truth!
What an unfortunate name choice; I skimmed this spoiler and saw a name that was VERY prominent high-tier in S4...

Craft (alchemy) with Crafter's Fortune: 1d20 + 8 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 8 + 5 = 22
On the way out of town, Khamul speaks to his companions, "Say, I'm collecting stories of untold adventures that Pathfinder agents have been having. My own Chronicle, you might say. Any of you done anything interesting you'd like to be written down?"
I need my Research boon thing-y before we depart ways! I don't have the list on me at the moment of what he has played and already has written on the boon but start throwing out examples and I'll write one down.
---
And I agree that this one (like Asasult on the Wound) is not well-fitted for PbP. My players had a little trouble following the rumor parts and overall it wasn't as good of an investigation as I was hoping it would be. Still had fun though! I always like bringing Khamul out. I think he hits 4th level after this one. I'm low on scenarios I can play but if anything opens up I'll be happy to bring him along!

Day Job (Perform) 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (7) + 9 = 16
Been so long since I actually played Artemis. Ran him in the Cyphermage Dilemma, that should be another rare one for you.
"Well I do have a story about some pirates in Riddleport, involving some cypher scholars if you would like to hear it." Artemis offers.
Toshi Ibi

Teeeeechnically, Cyphermage Dilemma was both an -Ex and an actual scenario, so there's almost double* the chance of having it on his list already, do ho ho. This is Toshi's first go, with a Confirmation DM credit, so he's useless in that regard.
