Neji trudges forward through the snow to catch up with the party and begins chanting in a strange language. She suddenly throws her hands out and the party (minus Taya) feels blessed!

Maja grows nervous. If they couldn't kill these bandits, their element of surprise would be lost. She also wasn't confident she could outshoot the bandit behind the tree.
Then Neji's magic washes over her, infusing the halfling with a sense of calm. She takes a deep breath and fires at the bandit again.

Frjya drew up snow from the ground and it formed into a ball between her hands. Then she tossed the ball of snow at the man who had been called out to give a signal. There was no way Frjya would allow that.

The stagger component of snowball was removed, I think it was with Ultimate Wilderness but it might have been an errata. Also, this is for all, please always list the DC of saves in your post.
Frjya quickly calls forth a snowball from the ether and smacks the red bandit in the back. The force picks the bandit up and deposits him face down in the snow, bleeding out.

Between Tayanalla and Freyr the last of the bandits is brought down. Blood spreads in the snow from the dead bodies.

Checking the bodies you find three mundane short swords and short bows along with 26gp.
The trail continues on past these guards and leads directly to the High Sentinel Lodge which is high, several hundred feet, up a in the hills.
The High Sentinel Lodge is constructed of heavy timber and stone harvested from the forested highlands of the Sharpened Hills, a jagged, nigh-impassible region southeast of the lodge.
The path you had been following is joined by others and there are horse and humanoid tracks visible in the snow despite being covered by the snowfall. It will take you the better part of an hour to climb to the lodge if you go that way.

"Yeah, it'd probably be pretty heavy to carry, and well, we have bandits to stop!" Neji exclaims. "Do you think they're just holing up in this Lodge then? Maybe we can pull some kind of sneak attack."

"I believe that would be the wisest course of action. We should still have the element of surprise as long as we don't take long enough for someone to come looking for them." Freyr gestures to the bodies. "I'll take the lead again and scout around. It seems the team we had scout last time worked well enough."

With the fighting over for now, and the apparent lack of warning to those inside of the lodge, Kleora felt a wash of relief. She turned and followed the others towards the cabin, being as quiet as she could, and hoped she wouldn't give herself away this time.

From where you started you could see that the lodge was was over one hundred feet away and up a trail. As you move closer you do not see any additional guards between you and the structure. Neji and Maja are particularly sure that you can get closer, following the trail and then moving into the trees.
Looking at the area you assume there is probably a back enterance but you would most likely need to go down, around the ravine and search the other side of the hill. Not impossible but not easy either.
In a clearing among the trees, a large wooden lodge overlooks a ravine spanned by a long rope bridge. Smoke rises from the lodge’s two snow- covered chimneys, and large woodpile is stacked against the outer wall. A small outbuilding stands east of the lodge, and a stone well nearly blanketed by snow is barely recognizable to the north. Several tracks lead southwest toward a detached stable.
You can see the flicker of burning lamps and fires thought the windows so it is safe to assume it is inhabited.
Maja, you notice a trip line at the start of the bridge, you cannot see what it goes to but it heads back over the bridge.

"Well be quick and careful," Freyr replies mentally. He moves up with the scouts, staying low and quiet. He frowned slightly when Maja pointed to the trap. "Interesting. It seems like they don't want people crossing. Or they're worried something from that direction will be coming toward them. Perhaps we could enter through a window if there's no back door."

Tayanalla makes it across with no issue and does not seem to be noticed. Following the hard to see line she can see it connects to a crossbow that will fire onto the bridge. Also, when triggered it will drop several large pots which will make a heck of a racket.

Kleora shook her head and said, "I have no clue what to do with it either. I think we need to just go across and hope we get lucky." With that she moved forward and attempted to bypass the trip wire as she went.

Unfortunately Kleora was not as nimble as she thought she was, the clothing didn't help, and she got a little overconfident at the end. She thought she was safely past when suddenly she felt her foot snag on something and said something in a very obscure language that sounded similar to the of the fey.

Kelora seems to be done with waiting and attempts to avoid the tripwire. Sadly her attempt is not very successful. A crossbow bolt streaks towards Kleora as the crossbow itself falls backwards off its pearch dragging a large put with it. Both hit the ground making a great deal of noise.

While her luck was bad at the start the gods smile on Kleora now and instead of delivering a devastating hit the string on the crossbow snaps and the bolt falls to the ground harmless. {Hows that for timing on a natural 1}

Still the noise is enough and a small humanoid creature with thin, leathery wings, small horns, and a mischievous smile appears flying in your direction. It is ready for a fight and about twenty five feet off the ground.
This is a female ice mephit, a small flying outsider. Every five over the DC13 gets you one question.

"Ouch..." Taya says as Kleora springs the trap.
She starts to step forward and help, but the flying creature appears.
"What in hades is that thing?" she asks.
Assuming it isn't friendly she flicks a magical glob of acid in its direction.

Freyr sighs and draws his bow once again. "Indeed," he replies as he watches the small creature hovering above them. "Let's try to finish this before the bandits decide to join in."

Neji sees Kleora trip over the line just as she was about to go and winces. "Glad that missed, at least..."
As soon as combat begins, Neji's vision is clouded up somewhat from a bout of deja vu, and she's slow on the uptake! She manages to cast her spell and blesses the party's combat for this.
Neji's Oracle's Curse makes her staggered in the first round of combat when there's no surprise round, so only using a standard action to cast Bless. Everyone should be within range for the +1.

As Frjya bolsters Maja's defenses and Neji blesses the group Tayanalla lobs a small ball of acid at the flying creature that sizzles when it makes contact with skin. The creature yelps and issues a threat.
"Turn back and go home. This bridge is your end."
The ice mephit flys down over the middle of the bridge, still maintaining a height of 15 feet, and breaths out a cone of ice that batters Maja and Tayanalla.

Maja has Disable Device, but I figured that the odds of her setting off the trap on accident were higher than just having the party move past it.
Maja is just past the trap when Kleora springs it. The halfling flinches and turns to see the damage, but sighs with relief when the psychic is miraculously unharmed. I'll just try to disarm something like that next time, she muses. Not everyone is as small as you.

Maja's surprise keeps her distracted enough to not see the mephit coming and a wave of cold washes over her. Shivering, she unslings her crossbow and loads it.

Kleora was relieved the bolt missed her but cursed anyway as the creature appeared. She was starting to run low on magic and knew there were bandits to deal with soon enough so she pulled out her crossbow and pulled the trigger at the flying creature.

A wooden roof extends over this wide porch. Double doors provide access to the lodge itself. Two small glass windows are set in the walls to either side of the doors. The porch is three feet off the snow-covered ground.
The porch does not appear to be trapped or alarmed.
