By now. Anzath is itching for a fight. She stands ready with blades in hand and volunteers Bedlam to be the one to open the door. Her hands are full, you see.
Talathel Rhuiren
Ten feet from the door, Talathel is keen to begin.
Brand Hornblower
Since the party departed Zelkor's Ferry and Brand wished a tender goodbye to his bonny lass, he'd been a decidedly more muted halfling. Indeed, while talkative, his typical devil-may-care attitude has been strangely absent, and he has seemed to be lost in thought at times. Clearly, the rogue's new role as a fiance and future tavern owner have drawn his attention elsewhere.
Yet as the party descends into the dungeon, a spark seems to re-emerge in the little rascal's demeanor, and standing beyond the door holding back an as-yet-unknown growling beast, a rye smile crosses his face. "Time fer a bit o' trouble, if'n ye ask me! I kanno be deh gud lil lad all de time..."

As you burst open the door, you see a pack of gnolls.
You have the jump on them, so everyone may act in the surprise round. Tragershen and Anzath may also take their first action in normal initiative. Brand: note that you took a little damage while you were away, but Aurora split it with you.
Tragershen
From behind the brave warriors, Tragershen uses an arcane syllable to send a stream of glittering dust through the air at the gnolls. Once the end of the stream is in their midst, it explodes soundlessly, coating the mangy creatures.
Glitterdust, DC 17 Will or blinded.

With a menacing grin, Anzath rushes into the room (surprise round action) and puts her blades to work (full attack action).

Surprise Round!
Aurora casts some of that sweet, sweet Bless, lofting her holy symbol.
Bless — Each ally within 50ft. gains a +1 morale bonus on attack rolls and on saving throws against fear effects for the next 4 minutes.

Taking advantage of catching their foes unaware, Brand rushes forward, thrusting a brutal jab at one of the gnolls.

Round 1
With the warriors leaping into the fray, Trag looks for little ways to contribute. He drops his club and draws a flask of acid from his pack. With the alchemical component in hand, he casts a spell and lobs a bit of acid at one of the gnolls.
Acid Splash, targeting the gnoll that isn't blind or wounded.

Brand gives a cross-eyed glance at his companions who are focusing on the blind gnolls rather than the one still posing a legitimate threat. Luckily the chamber is small, and with so many allies in close, it takes Brand but a quick step to put him in a flanking position across the lone non-blind gnoll while also allowing him to strike one of the blinded gnolls.

As the last gnolls bit the dust, you hear rustling and frightened barks behind a ventilation grate in the corner of the room and then the sound of receding footsteps.
Beyond the grate, the second half of the gnoll gang pleads gnollo contendere and rushes to escape.
Only their immediate flight can save the world from gnorlly gnoll puns...
There's a door in the room you're in, and that vent is about man-sized. How do you proceed?
Anzath
“Pitiful,” Anzath sneers at the retreating gnolls.
She inspects the grate, it can’t be too hard to remove if these yelping dog-people could do it.
Take ten Perception yields 22.
“Vell, shall ve put dem out of misery?”
Tragershen
Are the vent and the door on the same wall?
In the corridor outside the door, Tragershen listens. Can he hear the gnolls fleeing from one way or the other?
Talathel Rhuiren
"We pursue.", says Talathel, favouring brevity in his explanation, as begins to move.
Aurora Fallowarc
"On one hand, they are fleeing. On the other, they are mangy dogs living in the house of Orcus... ones who will likely only be a nuisance.
We pursue," she echoes.
Talathel Rhuiren
"Out the door!" , Talathel says in halfling.
GM Parrot
The chase is on! Whether or not the rest of the party agrees with Tal's assessment, surely you won't leave him out there alone once he takes off?
As he leaps through the door and turns to the west, a doggish face emerges from the gloom about forty feet ahead, and, after a quick yap of fear, this gnoll immediately wheels in a skittering of toe claws--the whole pack takes off in the other direction.
Anyone with a 30 ft move speed and a means of slowing them down (Tragershen, Bedlam?) can take an action here if you follow Tal immediately.
Tragershen
Tragershen sprints after the other elf, not willing to let him run off into the darkness alone again. When he sees the gnolls in the darkness ahead, he throws a spell ahead.
Casting web, filling the corridor beyond the gnoll we could see.
Anzath
Anzath grins excitedly as she follows Talathel's command. She knew she liked this elf for a reason.
...Wait.. what?
Nevermind, the hunt is on!

I wasnt sure on this, since theres a penalty to Dex but not a loss of Dex altogether. If it's true, add 1d6 ⇒ 2 to Anzath's dmg.

FAQ
The official errata didn’t say to change this but under concentration it says…. “Casting a spell while you have the grappled or pinned condition is difficult and requires a concentration check (DC 10 + the grappler’s CMB + the level of the spell you’re casting). Pinned creatures can only cast spells that do not have somatic components.” It is our opinion that the condition should also be updated to match but until errata or an FAQ is provided indicating such, we will not alter the actual text.
A grappled creature is restrained by a creature, trap, or effect. Grappled creatures cannot move and take a –4 penalty to Dexterity. A grappled creature takes a –2 penalty on all attack rolls and combat maneuver checks, except those made to grapple or escape a grapple. In addition, grappled creatures can take no action that requires two hands to perform. A grappled character who attempts to cast a spell or use a spell-like ability must make a concentration check (DC 10 + grappler’s CMB + spell level), or lose the spell. Grappled creatures cannot make attacks of opportunity.
A grappled creature cannot use Stealth to hide from the creature grappling it, even if a special ability, such as hide in plain sight, would normally allow it to do so. If a grappled creature becomes invisible, through a spell or other ability, it gains a +2 circumstance bonus on its CMD to avoid being grappled, but receives no other benefit.
Casting Spells while Grappled/Grappling: The only spells which can be cast while grappling or pinned are those without somatic components and whose material components (if any) you have in hand. Even so, you must make a concentration check (DC 10 + the grappler’s CMB + the level of the spell you’re casting) or lose the spell.
Grapple does not make target flatfooted or denied Dex, so negative on SA. I have many rogues...lol.
Brand Hornblower
My apologies, for some reason I was thinking a grappled target was denied their dex against non-grappled opponents. I stand corrected. Not that it matters much with my Nat 1 for an attack roll...

Talathel moves in and spears the nearest gnoll, content to slay them in such a manner.

I always picture Web more like Entangle, but on inspection, I remembered that it fills up the hallway: "If you have at least 5 feet of web between you and an opponent, it provides cover. If you have at least 20 feet of web between you, it provides total cover." Tal reaches (and hits) one gnoll that has cover, but the rest are whimpering in the webby mess beyond, secure in total cover.
Talathel manages to wound the horrified gnoll, who howls in pain.
