Thanephos |

Daniel, I actually included arcane strike in my damage, but I think I forgot to mention that I did use it, for all that it helps my accuracy. Because I had pretty good damage, I'll use a surge in the hopes I hit.
Surge: 1d6 ⇒ 6

Joneth Revane |

The blow is a telling one as Joneth can barely stand after the bandit's sword runs him through. Yet stand he must and does, even managing a counterstrike, though one that misses its target.

Botting Athar again...
Seeing the nasty sword hit Joneth just took, Athar drops prone in Thanephos' square, reaches over and lends him some healing aid.

Daniel Proudmore Rose |

Daniel shoots at one of the bandits he blinded, however misses.
1d20 + 8 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 8 + 1 = 10 (dice rollers looooove me :/)

Ty Purgest |

"We need to focus our attacks more," Ty says calmly as he switches targets and steps closer to Alexis'.
Still giving her the benefit of his Saving Shield feat.
Ty now attacks Bandit 4. His spear sinks into the surprised bandit's belly.
Attack+Bless+higher ground: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 17
Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7

Thanephos |

Thanephos, glad that his last arrow somehow still had an effect, calls again on his arcane power for another arrow, this time at the man who attacked Joneth, but this time his aim is horribly off.
Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9
Damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9

Alexis Von Brant |

Alexis glances at Ty then lashes out at the same man she has been focusing on, Bandit 4. sorry I forget to mention that.
short sword: 1d20 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 2 + 1 = 6
She misses once and lands a glancing blow to his arm with her Kukri.

confirm: 1d20 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 2 + 1 = 20
damage: 1d4 ⇒ 1=2 for the damages. the dice machine taunts me. I am going to do a Sudden Strike.
With snarl Alexis lashes out again with her short sword.
Sudden Strike Short Sword: 1d20 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 2 + 1 = 18
damage: 1d6 ⇒ 4

Nazard |

Actually, Alexis, instead of just doubling the damage, you roll 2d4, so it probably would have done more than 2 points.
Extra damage: 1d4 ⇒ 3 4 points total.
As Alexis thrusts her short sword into the vile man, she could swear a soft yet angry voice mutters, "Die, pig!"
The bandit drops. While he isn't dead, he is bleeding out.

Joneth Revane |

Perhaps it is due to Athar's invigorating divine healing or Ty's urging or a combination of both even, but whatever the reason this time Joneth manages to land a strike on his foe, slashing the bandit across his torso, blood flowing freely from the wound.

Nazard |

Athar lays a hand on Ty, granting him some guidance (+1 bonus to any one d20 roll).
Bandit 1 stabs blindly at Joneth, stabbing the staircase.
Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25
Miss chance; high hits: 1d100 ⇒ 5
Bandit 2 stabs blindly also.

Miss chance; high hits: 1d100 ⇒ 20
Bandit 3 sees his friend go down and the other two flailing blindly. He hightails it for the door, not even being careful enough to avoid the AoO from Ty.
Ty can have an AoO if he wants one. Everybody is up!
ROUND 4

Daniel Proudmore Rose |

Daniel follows the fleeing bandit, shooting two arrows as he does so.
(spending mythic point to move as swift + shoot.)

attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17

damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
<.< >.> Can you boost damage?

Daniel Proudmore Rose |

eh, better to slay them now, then let them slay another 3 days from now. Holy justice must be delivered! Far as Daniel is concerned, they revoked their protection by attacking goodly travelers. Though if they surrender quarter will be given.. until a proper sentence can be handed out.

Ty Purgest |

Yes, Ty will take the AoO.
Ty slices a deep cut in the side of the bandit's head as he rushes out.
Attack+Bless+higher ground: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19
Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9

Ty Purgest |

Ty will circle around the back of the stairs to the west.
Assuming that there is nothing in J9...
He will attack the closest bandit he sees. J11... I can't update the map on this tablet, sorry.
Attack+Guidance: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (12) + 5 = 17
Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5

Daniel Proudmore Rose |

The paladin is practical :3

Joneth Revane |

Joneth strikes at the man in front of him once again. What appears at first to be a telling blow proves much less effective as the blinded bandit almost instinctively moves to the side, turning a potentially deadly slash into a much less effective one.

Ty Purgest |

I think I've updated the map according to Ty's and Alexis' actions, although Bandit 1 and Bandit 3 are dead. I can't delete images, and I don't know if Nazard would be cool with me moving them somewhere off map.
"All your friends are dead," Ty says to the final bandit. "Time to surrender."

Daniel Proudmore Rose |

now now now, we wouldn't expect that. No, Actually, I would prefer that. That way, we can tell the, court back at the city that not only did you attack us, other travelers, and used animals in your cruelty, but you were extremely uncooperative. We won't have to worry about lessening your punishment.. I wonder, the salt mines for 20 years? cleaning the church's painted windows, now those ARE high.. Yes. I always prefer for those criminals like you to hold to your own. Keeps you off the street longer, and gives you a longer period for you to sit and ponder your choices. Many a criminal has converted after years in the... well. Lets let that be a surprise yes?
intimidate: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20
I thought about being diplomatic... but decided this way was better. hue hue.

Daniel Proudmore Rose |

naahh. Besides, while I can't lie, the truth is often times quite frightening >:3
athar, go check on the others, I would prefer to take all of them back alive.

Nazard |

Athar checks the others, finding them all alive enough to stabilize, save for the man out in the yard with the arrows in his back.
Each man wears studded leather armour and has a longsword, both well looked after. Each man also has a rather shabby bow and a quiver of second-rate arrows.
They each also have odds and ends in their pockets a little sacks of 20 sp.

Daniel Proudmore Rose |

intimidate didn't get him to spill anything?

Thanephos |

Thanephos steps forward, still with his bow in hand, We don't want to hurt you, or put you in a worse situation than we have to. Or at least, I don't. It's obvious that you're scared of whoever your boss is, which is why you can't help us. If you tell us what we want to know, we can protect you. Please, help us to help you.
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21

Daniel Proudmore Rose |

good cop bad cop with the paladin as the bad cop... Love it. Hue.

Nazard |

The bandit, who by now has recovered his sight, seems slightly put at ease by Thanephos' soft words. He pauses a moment, then replies, a bit too loudly, "I ain't sayin' nothin'!!" and he jerks his head towards the trap door.
He motions Thanephos to lean close, and whispers, "They is all connected, down there."

Ty Purgest |

The man just stares at Thanephos. "By tunnels. Is you stupid or something?" he asks in a voice loud enough to negate his earlier caution.
Ty whacks the man with the butt of spear, almost gently.

Nazard |

The bandit grunts as the spear butt takes him in the gut. He snarls at Ty.
"Nah! Some other group made 'em. Others went and killed them, and they gots killed, and them, and at some point we did 'em in and took the towers. We's the best fighters around!" The man looks proud, and then, several seconds later, remembers that they had just gotten their butts kicked, and his smile slips off his face faster than butter off a hot fire poker.
