Nic. |

Nic, caught between wanting to be helpful and not wanting to fall prey to one of this land's mysterious traps, stops about fifteen feet shy of where the tall man and the dwarf work over the fallen man.
He looks around, trying to keep his eyes open for trouble while they work, "So'uuuhh.... how likely you think it is that this guy just happens to be stuck here where there aren't supposed to be people?"

Dakvor Damashek |

"Well, Nic I guess it's as likely as a bunch of escapees dropping from an airship & findin' themselves on this very same spot," Dakvor replies with a resigned smile to the changeling. The half-orc monk kept silent throughout the scavenging the group did on the remnant of Captain Ria's airship; just going along with the flow, stuffing provisions on his backpack just so enough that he could still move freely. He brooded throughout the night and only now did the monk had the enthusiasm again to take stock of their situation.
I've a shorter lifespan than Darius, I guess I do need to just enjoy whatever fate's heaping on us.

You successfully lift the fallen tree off the man in shining armor. As you do, it becomes apparent why the man is here: his chestplate has the emblem of the Silver Flame crafted into it. His features are handsome, if beat up, and there appears to be no sign of any other Thranes in the vicinity.

I'll need a day to work with Shane (our new member) to see if he understands the setting and such. We met through Tumblr, and I knew he was looking for a game, but he doesn't quite have the setting knowledge. We will see if we can work things out by Tuesday. Thanks for your patience! :)

"While I think that the flame has some snobbish members I don't think the lot of them are all bad. That is like saying everyone from your nation is a zombie loving necromancer. Now if he does anything stupid I will be more than happy to help you get rid of him."

Darius Kirisallin |

Laughing softly, the Elf takes a seat on the fallen tree and waits, staring down at the Silver Flame emblazoned Breastplate. "I must say... It is an interesting thing, this hate these Thraciens elicit. Bad luck that he also happened to be Silver Flame!" Grinning, he pulls his pipe from his sleeve, thumbs it full of tobacco and sparks it alight, before taking a slow, thoughtful pull.
"Also... How in the name of the Dark Six did he get all the way out here, trapped beneath a tree? A Warforged I would have expected. Those crazy Dragonmarked creations go everywhere. You know I once saw a Warforged walk the whole length of a river, Strange thing to watch a construct walk in to the water, only to appear a day later, covered in weed and fresh water barnacles, at the mouth of an estuary!" He shook his head softly and sighed.
"Strange indeed..."

GM Levi |

I will do just that! But we can keep moving along as we please! :)
The man in the silver plate lies in front of you, his soul clinging to life. The grove is silent, and oddly out of place.
"A Flamer? I agree with Sir Vorik." states the normally quiet monarch.
"You can't just kill him!" screams Ria.
"What are we doing?" asks Til.

GM Levi |

"We should kill him, but we wont. I do not feel like murdering a defenseless man. No!" Crouching over the man, Darius begins to pour some water slowly down his throat.
Suddenly, the man begins to gag on the water being poured down his throat. He sputters and coughs (in a most unpolite matter) and jerks around, his eyes open, full of fear, and he tries to clutch a sword that is not by his side.
Reactions?

Darius Kirisallin |

"He is? Are you sure?" Pouring a little more down the mans throat, Darius grins before jumping to his feet, and drawing his blade, laying the point against the mans throat. "Nice and easy Master Flamer. No need for someone to get hurt. I just thought that perhaps you would like a drink. Settle down now!"

Darius Kirisallin |

"These worshipers of the Flame seem to be getting less and less intelligent, this one can not even drink water, I agree with you Vorik!" Grinning, Darius presses the edge of the blade a little harder against his throat. "On your feet if you can manage it dear fellow. I would not breath too hard though, this blade is made to drop beasties like you. No sudden movements and everyone leaves alive, savvy?"

Ahem, tis now the aforementioned tuesday, where the hells is my game??!!
Now it is Wednesday. We may have to go drag him out of his classes. RP'ing trumps edumication ya know.

GM Levi |

Sorry Team Thunder Cats. I got called into work.
Still gagging on the water, the knight introduces himself in a articulate tenor, "Thrane indeed. I am Sir Leonardo, formerly of Shadukar, and who, may I ask, are you?"
He pauses and waits for a response.
"We are only 40 minutes on horseback from the border. I came here following a rogue spell that drifted over the border, but was trapped in this grove after a living storm came through. I thank you for your unlikely and well-timed arrival."
Kaius eyes the knight cautiously, his prejudice clearly visible on his handsome and sharp featured face. For their part, Ria and her crew let you handle the man, although everyone is on edge in the mysteriously green and unscathed grove.

GM Levi |

With obvious doubt in this voice: "They sent you out here alone, really?"
"As a Knight of the Silver Flame, I believed I could attempt a quick foray into the ruins of Cyre to destroy such an abomination. Obviously, in retrospect it was unwise, but over confidence is my flaw. And I wasn't alone. I have the Flame within me."

Vorik Kessler |

Vorik stands up to his full height and in so doing catches some light on his armor which makes the red look like fresh spilled blood. "I am Sir Vorik Kessler, Paladin of Dol Arrah and worshiper of the Nine, Six and One. And I must say, I am not terribly fond of those from Thrane and even less so of those who follow the Silver Flame." He puts as much hate into this last sentence as possible.

GM Levi |

"You tell him, your Holiness!" Darius laughs loudly, walking up to stand beside Captain Ria. "Uncouth Heroic types! One wonders how the world survives with such as them!" He grins at the woman and winks.
Ria smiles at Darius' attempt at humor, obviously thinking along the same lines, probably matching the paladin to a blundering idiot in armor that is so common in the tales of bards.
Kaius, while having an obvious distaste for the knight does ask him what part of the border they are closest to. Conveniently enough, they are within a three-hours march to the north-eastern Thranian border, and therefore quite close to Karrnath and their destination.

Showing much contempt and little respect for the "Flame was with me" comment.
"The Flame obviously was not with you considering how we found you. Maybe you will consider taking more physically tangible companions along on your next trip."

"Possibly, but I do love a good challenge! But friends, this is the wrong place to have such a discussion! Shall we head to the Thranian border, and once well away from this dreadful land enjoy such discussion over a glass of Silver Zinfindel?"
