They won init, but I assume you all were standing ready, so as they close you get to swing first. However, Kragmyr is going to take a battering ram to the face (charge attack), Gundar is facing a charging falchion. Thozar creates a pit. I doubt you would have been readied with that, but I'm going to let it slide just because it was cool and we played fast and loose with readied actions here anyway. However, it is not as large as you placed it - it is only 10x10 unless I am missing something....

And that was when Thozar created the pit. Kragmyr shot the dwarf a look of incredulity. "Ye amazin' bastard! Ancestors smile on ye lad!" Holding his gore soaked weapon, he swung once more at the nearest orc. He was tiring though...

Sorry GM Fuzzfoot, I got excited to use the spell! I will try to be more realistic when things like this happen. Beyond the 10x10 square is a sloped edge, which is what the second box is supposed to be. The spell text says that if you are "adjacent" to the actual pit, you are standing on a slope and ending your turn there warrants a reflex save with a bonus. I don't know if adjacent includes diagonals though...

Belir cuts off the yellow orc and attempts to kick him back into the pit with Thuradin. "back in ye' go Green Skin!"

Ha! Don't anger a group of dwarves...
Yellow is killed, thrown into the pit, and then has a boulder dropped on him as well as the others. All of the orcs are dead.
We are going to call it the top of round 11 now. The next wave comes in at round 13, not that you would know that, but that gives you each 2 (or 3) rounds of actions to do as you like.

Breathing heavily, Kragmyr leans on his hammer, breathing heavily. Looking around he smiles at his bloodied, wounded, and victorious kinsmen.
"Well done lads! Might not be the last o' the idiots. Let's get behind the fortifications lads. I doubt that they have more siege equipment, so let them tire themselves out comin' to us."
Kragmyr moves behind the defenses

As the boulder plummets into the pit, Thozar shouts out a battlecry, punctuating it with both fists raised in the air. "FOR TRUNAAAAUUUU! DWARVES! DWARVES! DWARVES!"
He then spends the remaining time healing his allies in anticipation of another wave. "Brothers, think we should try to push the boulder further when those orcs appear?"

CLW vs Kragmyr: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9
CLW vs Thuradin: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
Guys, this is easily one of the coolest kills ever :D round 13 is the last round the pit exists, the following round it rises back up.

That was just too tempting not to do. Thozar you get full credit for putting that pit exactly in the right place!
"There is a human game i have heard of that is played in Taldor. They hit a small egg-ball around a field with a walking stick while trying to get it in a small hole. They would call this a 'hole-in-one', though i think the Dwarven version is much better as we got more than one with our boulder! I'm ready to push when you are Thozar!"
Torith takes his time to find his footing and brace himself so he is ready to shove with all his might when the others are ready.
