"It would do us, the Society, the Pact Worlds no good to give them this information and just leave them to fight it out. They did that already. It didn't turn out so good. That's how they got here."

"I agree, Ryu. Plus, I don't know that the husks could receive our message." says Thorval. "Plus, calling down from space seems a chicken-crap way to do it, as well."
"Sounds like we're voted to tell them. Right?"
Builder-42 |
Builder nods, an odd light behind their eyes changes and they come to stand behind Thorval, "Sounds like we have a dicision. Lets make it happen. "

The ship is not big enough to house this meeting. In looking for a different location, the Most Elevated refuse to leave the force field boundary of their city and fear that the Husks seeing their way of life might cause trouble as well. As such, you are forced to explain what you have found to each community individually. The council is thankful if the PCs repaired the generator, and they are surprised to learn the actions of their ancestors. However, as they are quite comfortable, they see no reason to change the way they currently live and posit that the husks probably feel the same way. They vow to uphold the tradition of keeping the Mainframe area taboo. When Klarima escorts you back to the force field to open an exit for them, she seems a bit distracted, but assures it is nothing and leads you to the Husks encampment.
At the husk enclave, Alomir and Koseemo are understandably upset to hear that their religion is fictional. While the husks are not upset with the bearers of this bad news, though Klarima is visibly uncomfortable to the point of being fearful, and they ask to be left alone to process the information. Dystane is the most visibly angry at the disclosure, and she and her hunters begin taking stock of their weapons.
Klarima hurriedly seeks to leave the encampment. Once outside she directs you towards your ship and says her goodbye. "I hope that we'll meet again someday. You have given me much to think about, new friends.”
The ships starts up like a rolling cough and the trip back home is thankfully swift with the aid of the Starstone. Back on Absalom Station, Venture-Captain Arvin appreciates that the you chose to do something with the information you discovered, but he doesn’t assure you whether you made the right or wrong decision. He simply states that the Starfinder Society will keep an eye on Elytrio for any future developments before you are all dismissed.
