Round 1

Initiative Order - Quirmydt, Jonas, Hermann, Edmund, Ariella, Statue, Jokbur

Statue AC 16 T 12 FF 14

Knowledge (dungeoneering) DC 14:
This monstrous, animate statue is a living creature called a gargoyle. It is a monstrous humanoid.

Knowledge (dungeoneering) DC 19:
Gargoyles can perch indefinitely without moving, easily passing themselves off as grotesque statues until victims come near. A gargoyle possesses only a dim intelligence, but it speaks Terran and Common.

Knowledge (dungeoneering) DC 24:
A gargoyle’s stony hide deflects most minor blows, but magic weapons can pierce its defenses. The longer a tribe of gargoyles abides in a region of ruins or buildings, the more its members come to resemble that region's architectural styles. The changes a gargoyle's appearance undergoes are slow and subtle, but over the course of years, it can shift radically.

Knowledge (dungeoneering) DC 29:
Gargoyles tend toward obsessive-compulsive behaviors that are as varied as their kind is plentiful. Books, stolen trinkets, weapons, and grisly trophies harvested from fallen foes are just a few examples of the types of things a gargoyle might collect to decorate its lair and territory. Gargoyles tend toward a solitary lifestyle, though they sometimes form fearsome groups called “wings” for protection and sport. In certain conditions, a tribe of gargoyles might even ally with other creatures, but even the most stable alliances with a gargoyle tribe can collapse for the smallest of reasons—gargoyles are nothing if not treacherous, petty, and vindictive.

"Ari, time to put that fancy new sword magic to work." Jonas said moving forward to support Qui, leaving enough room in front of him for his sister to engage. "Go for it, I'll keep it off you."

I can't seem to move myself on the map. Jonas moves to directly behind Qui. Ari should be able to get in on Qui's right. That lets me cover all of them with Bodyguard.
