Just checking in. How we travelling?
Are you referring to this game thread or my goblin blood dead one?

Gameplay and discussion thread is up, please check in when you get a chance.
Reposting this to the current page in case anyone missed it.

GM Abraham, can you inactivate this campaign please.
Thanks

![]() |

Right now the only level 1 PC have currently created and not active is a werebat-kin vigilante (kind of an homage to Batman). And yes, I did create a sidekick for him (a tengu monk that I'm probably going to give to my wife to play when we have a chance to play together).
Otherwise I have at least one unused race boon that I could use to create a tiefling or a gillman.

GM Abraham |

Either sounds fine to me. (Note that level 2 is also ok if you happen to have one). We probably won't start for a few days (we're not done with the current scenario yet, though I think it's mainly rp), or even longer if we are somehow able to jump into gameday, so take your time if you wish to build something new. Though I think a batman-type is a good contribution to this module! :-)

Michael, here some background on Jang:
Jangafzaar is a Dwarf from a Kelish merchant family that always felt that love escapes his grasp.
His low self-esteem made him an easy target a bullies in society and his grumpy nature did not help to bring love nearer to his heart.
After a decade of seeking true love he found Almira, a dwarven lady from a Janderhoff with whom he was supposed to have two daughters ... when Almira, Jangafzaar's true love, and his unborn children died during a raid on their caravan by petty goblins Jangafzaar was devastated for a full year.
On the anniversary of his families death ... when his love for them almost drove him to suicide a sign of the The Eternal Rose brought the memory of his family back to him! Jangafzaar truly believes that Shelyn showed him how important love is ... and how much it can be connected to loss.
From this day onward Jangafzaar promised to follow Shelyn and to do everything in his power so that those that love can continue to love - and those seeking to take away love from them are punished with all his might!
Jangafzaar now continues to work as a merchant and can be a stoic negotiator with an empathic approach. He is very perceptive and understands people's motives which is very important to him as a cleric and merchant.
He typically wears light armor and during battle tries to use support his companions or let his summoned creatures attack.
Jangafzaar's family has deep roots in the Exchange faction of the Pathfinder Society.
Thus, the Kargar brothers Almaas, Jangafzaar, Toral and Sadaf are all members of the Pathfinder Society.

I don't think I can play a level 2 as I've already played this module twice with a level 2 PC, the second time burning a GM star. I'm pretty sure you can't burn a second star on the same adventure to play a 3rd time, so I'm locked in to playing it as an evergreen with level 1 PC.
I have to buy equipment for my werebat-kin and then create his profile. I'll try to have that done tonight. I'll be gone most of the day tomorrow for my monthly meatspace game.

Xeveos Mann (ZEH-vee-ohs MAN) was a soldier in the armies of the county of Ardeal in Ustalav. However, certain information regarding his ancestry came to light and he was forced to retire from the army and go into exile. Crossing from Caliphas into Lastwall, he met a Pathfinder and agreed to accompany him back to Absalom. There in the Temple of the Shining Star was he given training and inducted into the Silver Crusade. Now instead of fighting for a tyrannical autocrat of a county both morally and physically corrupt, he fights for justice. But sometimes the pursuit of justice is too much for an ordinary man to handle. That is when he becomes...

Mannbat, the Masked Crusader!
Xeveos is the social identity, Mannbat is the vigilate identity. Due to various traits and features, some of his skills have conditional bonuses. By default when in the form of Mannbat, he will have the Perception bonus active, which is reflected in his stat line. In addition he has other conditional modifiers.
+2 racial bonus to Perception at night
Owl's Sight: +4 competence bonus to Perception in low-light, +2 competence bonus to Sleight of Hand and Stealth at night.

So it looks like we can indeed include this game as part of Gameday VIII, though that will mean not starting until August 26. I'm flexible - happy to get some extra chances to roll for boons but also ok to get started sooner (though of course we aren't quite done with Verdant Path anyway) so just let me know what y'all prefer.

Nice character!! Clapping!!
GM, Then I’d rather start now. ;-)

![]() |

If we are willing to take on another level 1 PC, my wife is interested in playing the tengu monk I created as Mannbat's sidekick.

Back at the pathfinder training center, Robbin Redfist is finishing his training. He jumps off the scaffolding and glides down after throwing his rope dart at the training dummy below and garnering a hit. Landing deftly next to his target he then hit it with a flurry of blows. Taking his rope dart from the dummy he walks over to his trainer and says I'm ready for a mission, Sir. When do I leave.

Welcome! :-D

GM Abraham |

Can you mark these characters as inactive for me? zer0darkfire – Masked Oni – Palio Tambel – Thendros. Thanks!
done

![]() |

I am good with waiting or starting. I never win those silly boons anyways!

![]() |

I could. I have a lot of PCs at level 2 that I would happily play.

GM Abraham |

I'm interested too and I have a variety of PCs available. Of the scenarios mentioned, I haven't played 4-12, but I'm also fine with replaying something, or playing other tiers as well.
I'll be getting Murder's Mark going shortly. Sorry for the delay.

![]() |

I'd prefer to play some lower level stuff right now. I'm already signed up for a bunch of high tier adventures for the upcoming gameday.
Speaking of high level adventures for the gameday, there is a recruitment thread for the Ruby Phoenix tournament module (tier 10-12). Right now there are only 3 players signed up, so we need at least 1 more for a legal table.

I've posted the slides for Murder's Mark and we will get started as soon as everyone's ready. Please fill in the relevant info on the first 3 slides:
slide 1: put two copies of your map token on this slide, one for single file, and one for double file formation. If you have a familiar or animal companion or mount please add their tokens as well. My preference is for tokens with a circular frame with no color, but don't worry if you aren't sure how to do that - I can do it for you.
slide 2: fill in the entries for your Initiative, Perception, Fort, Reflex, and Will, for yourself and also (separately) for any familiar/animal companion/mount. Your entry should look like this example:
{dice=MyPCName Reflex]1d20+4{/dice] +2 vs spells; evasion
slide 3: fill in the information I'll need for completing your chronicle sheets: Please post it on this slide, rather than in the Discussion tab (this makes it easier for me at the end to not have to hunt through the whole Discussion thread). Do post any needed die rolls (such as Day Job, or Faction Journal Card attempts) in the Discussion thread. If you have a Day Job, feel free to roll a second time and put it in the Day Job Reroll column. If you use your reroll during the scenario we'll just assume that that column entry is no longer valid. Speaking of which, as the scenario goes along, if you use your reroll please note it on this same slide, so we have an easy way to keep track of whether or not it's been used. Finally, I often find it hard to know now whether or not I'll want to roll a Day Job check or check a Faction goal or use some boon that is in lieu of the Day Job. Go ahead and roll your day job now and you can still decide later that you actually prefer to do something else that would have prevented you from making a Day Job roll. (In other words, making a Day Job roll now doesn't prevent you from deciding that you actually wanted to use a boon or make a faction check).

GM Abraham |

Regarding the question of what else to play, it sounds like we are leaning towards something low tier, which is fine for me. In levels 1-4 I've got the following available:
Cavalier 2
Wizard/Rogue 3
Vigilante 2
I think I'm most inclined to play the Vigilante 2, or else the Cavalier 2.
Re picking a scenario: all of my play data is available at pfstracker.net (user name Abraham Z.) and I also have a good supply of replays now available which I'm happy to use as well.

Hi guys, you remember Eltran Katsu? The swashbuckling Kitsune?
He has exactly 3 xp so I’ll retrain him to a female human oracle and join the module.
I won’t be able to create the character before Monday but will post everything then for murders mark.
Expect a thread for 9-22 next week as well.
Have a great weekend.

Yep, done.

My apologies for the delay everyone. My flight home was cancelled and that has had ripple effects as I scramble to get caught up with everything. I haven't forgotten y'all and will get a post up as soon as I can. Thanks for your patience.

GM Nowruz |

Hello, please see here for the link to 9-22. Also note that I invited two more players.
Hello letsuna, you haven’t checked in the 9-22 game yet. You are joining the new rotation, right?
