Kaiole takes aim at Lemgem and fires!

Energy Weapon: 1d20 + 3 - 1 ⇒ (1) + 3 - 1 = 3

"D'oh!!!"

Cora seizes the piloting controls and mutters, "All right Laboni, keep holding on tight!"

Piloting: 1d20 + 3 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 + 3 = 8

"I like the way you think, Kaiole! Let me see if the bosom cannon has a little better luck!"

Chip jams on the controls to maneuver the cannon towards Lemgem, then hits the big red button.

Kinetic weapon: 1d20 + 2 - 1 ⇒ (19) + 2 - 1 = 20

Morroda Takes aim at Ratrod yet again and fires the second kinetic weapon.
Kinetic vs RatRod: 1d20 + 2 - 1 ⇒ (16) + 2 - 1 = 17

In her excitement, Cora oversteers Laboni straight into an advertising hoarding showing Strawberry Machine Cake holding a new Diet Strawberry Beer.

Ratrod laughs at Laboni and then unleashes a volley which hits directly on the side, slowing Laboni to half speed. His smile is soon wiped from his face as Velocity blast him, but he smirks, as he activates his energy absorption system and somehow uses the energy in the blast to give his racer extra stability. Velocity also takes out Orsis with a well aimed strike. However, he can do nothing about Morroda's well aimed blast and is hurled into the sidings.

Lemgem fires at Nyizin but is well off target and Nyizin fires back at her with devastating accuracy driving her off the track.

Folks we have a new leader and it's Nyizin ahead on Laboni but only just! Poor reigning champion Ratrod is lagging behind as we come out onto the home straight. Don't take your eyes of this one folks!

Faria, Chip and Cora up on Piloting and weapons respectively but feel free to shift around if you want to try a different way.

"Faria, mind if I take the piloting controls this time around?"

"We're so close! Laboni could still take it all!" Cora fires the Bosom Baby Blaster on Nyizin, hoping to knock her out of the lead.

Kinetic attack vs Nyizin: 1d20 + 2 - 1 ⇒ (15) + 2 - 1 = 16

"Come on, we're almost there! Down with Ratrod! We need a new scrapracing champion!" Chip cheers, smashing on the controls to launch another shot.

Kinetic vs Nyizin: 1d20 + 2 - 1 ⇒ (10) + 2 - 1 = 11

Faria happily hands the controls to Kaiole.

Kaiole delicately steers Laboni along the Botscrap racetrack, the finishing line tantalisingly in sight.

Chip misses but Cora's bosom baby slams into Nyizin, knocking him sideways but he manages to stay on track! He doesn't see Lemgem's volley coming from the left though and it drives him into the dust. he tries to fire back at Lemgem but misses. It matters not, as Lemgem is so excited at hitting Nyizin that she takes here eye off the track and drives into a wall of rubber tyres.

Ratrod shoots at Laboni and strikes a hit, as does Velocity but Kaiole's skill means Laboni stays on track despite both hits!

Orsis fires wide at Velocity

So long as no one objects, Kaiole will continue piloting the racer through the final stretch...!

Faria cheers loudly for Laboni as she watches the others finish the race for her.

Her last shot went well, so Cora tries for another one.

Kinetic attack vs Nyizin: 1d20 + 2 - 1 ⇒ (11) + 2 - 1 = 12

Ratrod, seeing that he is losing his grip on the title blasts at Laboni in desperation but misses by a mile. Velocity smashes his into the dirt with a well aimed blast and also manages to hit Laboni but once again, Kaiole's skill as a pilot sees Laboni steer straight ahead!

Nyizin is hit twice, by Laboni and Lemgem but somehow manages to stay on course whilst Velocity is struck by Orsis and smashes into a giant cardboard cut out of Ratrod.

The tannoy booms Folks we have a winner, and it's the newcomer Laboni by a nose! The crowd erupts at their new hero whilst Nyizin comes in a close second and Lemgem third. Poor Ratrod comes in last place and slams his helmet down on his car.

Shortly after the trophy has been presented, you walk over and find Laboni at the bar, and overhear her conversation with Ratrod ...and I know I shouldn't have said what I said. I actually think you're a great driver and it'd be a shame if Botscrap lost you. This place needs personalities like your's. Please, let me buy you a drink

Ratrod looks her up and down before softening a little I suppose it was a good race, and if I quit now then I'll never get my trophy back. Look after it for me - I'll be taking it back from you next month! For now, I'm going to check my racer, I definitely wasn't pulling the power I was expecting. It's almost as if.... he looks over at you all Hmph....never mind Ratrod leaves and Laboni bounds over, hugging you all

Thank you so much for all of your help! I couldn't have done it without you and I've definitely learned my lesson. Here, this is for you. Ratrod said I deserved it, but really, it should go to you guys. I got my pride back, that's enough for me.
