It's hard not to show off.

"Crowded," he says, and unfolds the symbol.

A second Shadrick stands beside the first-- a second Sanira and a second Fearn as well. A second Nicola turns, standing side-by-side with the first Nicola, even their most minor motions exactly the same. Both speak in the same voice. "Like this." He re-folds the scroll and tucks it into his coat pocket.

Everyone has a mirror image!

Female Fetchling Oracle of Metal 5 (29/29 HP)

Sanira examined her double, noting that it did a remarkable job of copying the intricate spiraling patterns of the scars on her forearms. It was a little unnerving, though, to be watching herself without the aid of a mirror. Typically such apparitions were crafted of darkness and shadow, not full-bodied and bright.

With a slight motion of her hand and a few whispered words, she analyzed the cripple's magic. Casting Detect Magic.

"Impressive. Not shadow magic, but quite similar. Perhaps you'll fit in here after all, if you would simply forget that butterfly of yours."

Hearing herself - her shadow - speak as she did was indeed a strange sensation.

Fearn jerks back. Then he reaches out experimentally to touch the other Fearn.

Male (Very) Human (Chelaxian) Fighter 4

Shadrick knew little to nothing of magic, save for that of enchantment, and as much as he liked the idea of that, he couldn't ever learn it, if only because he lacked the required interest. He'd rather hunt down ladies, of course. That said, he enjoyed the body double, and actually made it a point to search it for anything wrong with his armor.

Giving into his own vain, however, he made it a point to swing his weapon a few times, if only to admire his own handywork.

Smiling a bit, if only for a moment, he looked back at the witch; "As enjoyable as this is, we never took the opportunity to thoroughly search this place... and no doubt, that fey is most likely beyond this room, and I'd love to... see it dead."

Shadrick seemed to have a revelation in the middle of that sentence. "Fearn, what if this thing has been causing all the disappearances?.. To hell with it, let's just ask him ourselves. See if that key works, and get ready for an ambush. He probably heard us coming..."

Male Human Witch 4

The two Fearns meet hands for an instant like a pastiche of some kind of fairy tale until Fearn's second image moves through him like a ghost.

"That's the point. The illusion has proclivities to confuse and annoy in close combat-- it shouldn't hinder you."

"Shall we move on? I'm interested in the vengeance you were talking about."

He respectfully chooses to not comment on Sanira's request to abandon his religion.

LG Male, Dwarf Paladin of Torag 5 (HP 53/53)

"Hunhff!" Fearn snorts at his image. "Interesting. How long will they last?"

****

Fearn looks to Mavis. "Aye. He probably has heard us. I'll try to keep my mouth shut if we get in another scrape before we find him. Let's try that door."

If no one else wants to, Fearn will be the one to open the door.

Female Fetchling Oracle of Metal 5 (29/29 HP)

Sanira cracks her knuckles as she brandishes the spiny chain once again. A sadistic smile creeps across her face as she watched the dwarf approach the door.

"It is time this creature understood why Zon-Kuthon rules this land. Try not to kill him too quickly - my master would be terribly disappointed."

LG Male, Dwarf Paladin of Torag 5 (HP 53/53)

"We take him alive if we can. There's too many questions he needs to answer."

If the door is locked, Fearn will ask for the key from Nicola and try that.

The heroes ( a term loosely applied ) stand ready before the door leading to their fate. A faint glow eminates from its cracks, warm light seems to pulsate consistently giving an ominous impression.

The dwarf, resplendent in his diety's armor approached the door first and tested its handle.

Locked.

He could hear a faint click from behind the door, but aside from force - Nicola's key may be the solution.

About time you guys decided, lolol

LG Male, Dwarf Paladin of Torag 5 (HP 53/53)

Guess I'm the stuckee.

Fearn takes the key from Nicola and tries it in the lock.

Male Human Witch 4

I gave it to you earlier!

Quote:
He hands the key over to one of the other far more burly far more armored men, fetching an old piece of paper out of his coat pocket.

The stalwart paladin opens wide the door to the main room of the Chandler - the Work Floor. The smell of hot fat is overpowering. In the front of the room is a drying rack on which candles are hung while they cool. Broken and mangled, it sits in a circle drawn in blood and fat. Farther back, a furnace emits a dim light, and behind it stand several enormous vats - 6 in total; each as tall as a human.

Milling about in front of you are two human - a male and female with extraordinary sized goiters. Even in the warm candlelight, their skin seemed supernaturally pale and a blank stare sat upon their countenance. Murmurs and groans filled the room, as a cold breeze whistled in.

Candlewicks fluttering in the breeze, a deep and malevolent voice booms out.

"WHO COMES BEFORE ILQUIS' LAIR!!!!"

Female Fetchling Oracle of Metal 5 (29/29 HP)

Ignoring what she presumed was the fey's most sincere attempt at intimidation, Sanira peered around the room, searching for the source of his voice. The two humans before her caught her eye, and she tried to identify who they were as she continued her brief search. She hadn't spent much time among the humans, but she had seen most of them in passing.

Even within the ghetto, everyone knew atleast a dozen passing stories about Fane and Oana Hutchins - the infamous scandalous duo.

Every town had their deviants, but Karpad more than its share. Fane and Oana belong to an old family that dates back to the town's founding. Given their somewhat noble status among the citizens, they've felt more than entitled to openly discuss their sexual convictions in words and manner of intimacy.

Fearn:

Perception Result:
Even with your ancient eyes, the Fey was nearly unseen within the dimly lit room.

Fearn wrote:

The fey creature became upset at the mere mention of the Baron. In mere moments, a bright and searing light punched through the darkness, appearing as if the resplendent sun penetrated the room.

In a much higher but spazzed voice, Ilquis replied.

"BARON!!!BARON?!!HMPH, NO! HIS COUNSEL HAS BEEN APPROVED, HENCE MY EMPLYOMENT. NOW, HUSH! MOVE!! NO SECOND WARNINGS - WORK IS IMPORTANT!!!"

Given the extreme brightlight that is assaulting every corner of the room, its safe to say that somewhere in that ball of light - Ilquis is floating.

Since it took forever to get to this point, now would be a good time to blast it with questions and learn more about the plot before becoming murder hobos. Or, we could do the latter. I'm liking how this part's coming out.

Male Human Witch 4

"What're you doing to these people?" Nicola asks, leaning heavy on his cane. "Where are the bodies going?"

His face is a mask of stone but on the inside, his soul is boiling.

LG Male, Dwarf Paladin of Torag 5 (HP 53/53)

Fearn raises his shield to shield his eyes somewhat from the bright light and waits for a reply to Nicola's question.

Male (Very) Human (Chelaxian) Fighter 4

Tossing a hand up in front of his face as the glare hits the room, Shadrick can't help but think that's a bit unnecessary. Regardless of the matter, he's in the prescence of a murderer, which under normal conditions, wasn't that bad. However, he'd comitted the grave sin of killing a woman, and that burned him quite a bit...

Perception check to find Ilquis's voice: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (19) - 1 = 18

As always, he isn't too perceptive, a problem he'd hoped to rectify in the future, but alas... He wasn't able to find him.

He stood idle, rage slowly boiling, hoping to find the other women he'd likely kidnapped...

Female Fetchling Oracle of Metal 5 (29/29 HP)

Sanira joined the others in shielding her eyes from the bright light emanating from the center of the chamber. Yet it wasn't just the light itself that made her grimace - it was the fey's reckless disregard for her master. Even on the clearest days, the light of the sun never shone with such fervor on the lands of Nidal. A strict reverence of the shadows was mandated by the Midnight Lord himself - and this creature paid him no heed.

She would enjoy slowly watching pain wrack its body as death approached. Perhaps a more noble death than it deserved, but a death worth of the master.

Clutching her hands into fists, she waited for the creature's response.

Shadrick, despite shielding his eyes still cannot makeout the exact location of Ilquis' voice. For all he knows, there's a small sun speaking to him.

Nicola wrote:
"What're you doing to these people?" Nicola asks, leaning heavy on his cane. "Where are the bodies going?"

Nicola, who stood with such confidence and control rouse the Fey's attention. The beaming source of light scaled in size with a violent rhythm. This continued for a few moments until Ilquis spoke again

”Saving them” The fey creature said flatly.

As the news struck the team, Ilquis resumed his tirade.

”Since...reasoning has no effect on your addled minds, I'll reveal my plan since you won't live long enough to cry. I've no interest in helping your weak town – infact, you've all been so helpful in allowing me to call my comrades from the First World! And with this last round of sacrifices, mMMYY PLANnn wwWILLL be COMPLETE!!! MUWHAHAHAHAHAHA. YOUR BODIES WILL ADD TO MY COLLECTION!!! So...any more questions or can I exhume your life force???”

And with that, its initiative time. You could ask questions during combat If you'd like for hilarity

Also, I should probably include a relative description of this place. The room is a 20ft long and 15ft wide rectangle with a ceiling stretching up to 13ft high. Much of the place seems like it was carved out of the earth, hence being within a basement. In the center of the room is a candle rack stand resting upon a series of drawings on the stone floor. Somewhere floating above that...hovering at 10ft is a glowing ball of luminous light that Ilquis is residing in. To the far end lies 6 man sized vats guarded by two very infected tallow throat victims.

Female Fetchling Oracle of Metal 5 (29/29 HP)

Ini: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18

On her turn...

Sanira looks about for the creature, still unsure of where the fey's senseless rambling is coming from. With little recourse, she closes her eyes, projecting Zon-Kuthon's hatred of the light into a nearly tangible force. With a few whispers, she channels his dark energies forth into the light.

Casting Bane, DC 15 Will

And trying Nicola's link thing because that seems to be super helpful.

The fey remained quiet for a moment before giggling again.

Nicola:

Knowledge Nature Result:

Ilquis belongs to a nasty and cruel side of fey – a lurker of the light.
Basically, he's invisible within light and will make your life hell provided you can't remove his source of power.

- - - - < More Info >- - - -
[Bio]
Malicious and alien fey, lurkers in light venture to the Material Plane to perpetrate strangely targeted mischief, stealing and killing according to a logic or system of justice only they understand. Gnomes in particular seem to incur these unexplained attacks, leading some to believe that lurkers may be agents of ancient and vengeful forces.

Creatures of the light, lurkers are visible only in dim illumination, with anything brighter than a flickering torch making them completely invisible, even as they savage their enemies—a prospect terrifying to those civilized races that equate light with safety.

A lurker in light turns conventional wisdom on its head, for they detest darkness and the creatures that dwell in it, yet they themselves are sadistic and evil. They particularly hate darkmantles, dwarves, and creatures from the Plane of Shadow, and given the time, they enjoy torturing such creatures to death if they can capture them alive.

If killed, a lurker in light disintegrates over the course of several minutes into 2d6 pounds of dust that radiates faint evocation magic and glows for 1d6 days with a cold light equal to that provided by a candle. This dust damages shadows as if it were holy water, with a pound of dust equal to one flask of holy water.

A lurker in light is 3 feet tall, but weighs only 20 pounds.

Next Round...

Male Human Witch 4

Nicola nods. "Alright. You worship darkness over there, Sanira. Bring any with you?" He continues-- "It's a lurker in light. It's invisible in the light, but if we can try to remove that advantage by darkening the room, we can give it to you and Fearn."

He turns to the light-- or, at least, his best approximation of the light. With a flick of his wrist, he lets magic flow through him. "Lūmina noctem," he whispers, and hopes its enough.

Gonna hit the mundane lights in the room with dust of twilight and if it hits the bad guy that's fine too. Are the lights close together? If not I might just douse some now then walk around clubbing them.

This is where I feel stupid for wasting faerie fire on Viluki...

LG Male, Dwarf Paladin of Torag 5 (HP 53/53)

Greater evil! What is going on here?

FMC:
I did catch the "And with this last round of sacrifices, mMMYY PLANnn wwWILLL be COMPLETE!!! MUWHAHAHAHAHAHA." but thanks for the confirmation, makes the vats more interesting.

I had two more questions -- can Fearn swing his hammer to hit something 10' high? And what about that detect evil?

Ice Titan, that's a good try. Could be a double-edged sword, but I like it. We'll see how our ever gracious and benevolent DM rules.

I want to see what Shadrick does.

Male (Very) Human (Chelaxian) Fighter 4

Shadrick stands aloof, for a moment. While he is angry, and just recently made a death threat, he can't see Ilquis, and the blaring light in his eyes is infuriating. For it to be this... "Walker in light" thing, he realizes that the lights do in fact need to go... but destroying each and every single one would be tedious...

Then something sort of hit him... Sacrifices? The two people with Tallowthroat were negligible, and he felt the need to not worry about them at all, really, and merely hoped they didn't pop while the fight was about go...

That's when his eyes landed on the vats and the ritualistic processions...

While his knowledge of the religions didn't share that of his fellow faithful, he did have one thing going for him, at the least.

Torturer profession to analyze the room to see if it'd been used for it, and if so, what was: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10

While he dwelled on that, it was all too obvious that those vats seemed kind of important, but he was more worried about the ritualistic bits, and so made it his point to remove those.

Moving forward a few feet into the room, he cracked his whip in an arc, attempting to befuddle whatever lay on the floor that seemed particularly cumbersome and necessary. [dice=Attacking the "Altar"]1d20+7[/dice] Damage: 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6

He'd honestly hoped that messing up whatever processions he'd been planning would garner his attention, and ultimately make him easier to hit...

While he did this, he yelled; "If he's hidden, I'll just simply break what's visible! Check the vats! They might have survivors in them!"

Fearn:

Fearn wrote:

You're a pally in heavy armor + dwarven...so I'm going to say no. Unless you find something to give you height.

2. Sorry, forgot to list the detect evil.

Yes, Ilquis is very much evil - having lied on a contract and incessant killings.

LG Male, Dwarf Paladin of Torag 5 (HP 53/53)

Sorry, Duboris, I should have put this speech in my last post. It just confirms your suspicions, but...

"It's a ritual! He's drawing others here by sacrifice."

"For hammer and hearth! Torag smite him down!"

Fearn hurls his warhammer at Ilquis. Then he drops his shield and shrugs his crossbow its sling over his shoulder.

I can't get the damn crossbow unslung, loaded and fired this round so I'm going with an improvised thrown weapon. FMC, you may want to double check the rules. Ilquis is my smite target.

Throw warhammer 1d20 + 8 - 4 + 3 - 1 ⇒ (4) + 8 - 4 + 3 - 1 = 10 to hit bonus, improv weapon penalty, smite bonus, str damage ... damage 1d8 + 3 - 1 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 3 - 1 + 4 = 10 normal damage, strength damage, smite

Smite:
Smite Evil (Su): 2X per day, a paladin can call out to the powers of good to aid her in her struggle against evil. As a swift action, the paladin chooses one target within sight to smite. If this target is evil, the paladin adds her Charisma bonus (if any) to her attack rolls and adds her paladin level to all damage rolls made against the target of her smite. If the target of smite evil is an outsider with the evil subtype, an evil-aligned dragon, or an undead creature, the bonus to damage on the first successful attack increases to 2 points of damage per level the paladin possesses. Regardless of the target, smite evil attacks automatically bypass any DR the creature might possess.

In addition, while smite evil is in effect, the paladin gains a deflection bonus equal to her Charisma modifier (if any) to her AC against attacks made by the target of the smite. If the paladin targets a creature that is not evil, the smite is wasted with no effect.

The smite evil effect remains until the target of the smite is dead or the next time the paladin rests and regains her uses of this ability. At 4th level, and at every three levels thereafter, the paladin may smite evil one additional time per day, as indicated on Table: Paladin, to a maximum of seven times per day at 19th level.

Female Fetchling Oracle of Metal 5 (29/29 HP)

Going to take my action after Nicola since it wouldn't make much sense to do stuff before I even know what the thing is.

Sanira watched as Nicola threw open his pouch of dust and it scattered across the room. As darkness started to fall through the cloud of debris, a grin crept across her face. A creature of light in the land of darkness. It was like a gift from the Midnight Lord himself. She would relish the opportunity to slowly destroy the beast.

"Glad to see you're finally starting to understand my Master's power, human. Perhaps you're not so bad, after all."

Except for that butterfly - talk about useless fools in a realm where they do not belong...

Drawing her chain in close to herself, Sanira uses the jagged implement to tear open a new wound on her arm. Rubbing the blood into her palm, she closed her eyes once more and reached out to Zon-Kuthon's domain. Drawing on a fraction of her master's power, and the very essence of her homeland, she pulled a shroud of darkness from the plane lying just beyond the visible world.

Casting Darkness on myself.

Like I said-- glad I wasted faerie fire (which turns this encounter into a joke immediately) on Viluki, and I'm certain I fail that fort save.

Male (Very) Human (Chelaxian) Fighter 4

Forgetting the ritual sight entirely shadrick hurries quickly across to the vats, hoping against hope that there wasn't anyone inside and that he'd merely planned on them becoming ritual fodder. The torture implications of the room unsettled him, and he really had wished that they hadn't been used on women.

Speaking of women, the woman in the room presently with the tallowthroat issue worried him as well, but that was a mere moment for later.

Move action to go over to the vats, as well as a standard perception to check what's inside.

Looking inside, Shadrick was concocting a plan with all of this. If there were people in here of vital importance, he would likely provoke Ilquis's Ire, which was good, because at that exact moment, he'd bitten his tongue deep, causing a gout of blood to start filling his mouth. If the creature was in that light, he'd hoped that the coming spray would reveal him.

He could only hope, of course.

Unless you've a skill point in linguistics: lip reading, you won't be able to understand your allies actions.

Seemingly interupted in mid flight, Ilquis struggled to keep him composure.

Fey Flight Check, DC 10: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (5) + 18 = 23-> Passed

"Hmph! Foul brutes! Ruin my work you do. Only way - time to pay! Hammer and whip, tools of a wimp!!"

Upset that a mere ruffian was disturbing is precious altar, Ilquis went into a rage. Staying high and aloft was no longer an interest within the lurker. Dragging his small sun, Ilquis floated until he was at Shadrick's eye level. The color of his source of light radiated into a multitude of colors that attracted the Chelaxian's interest. And in a moment, an explosion of light surrounded Shadrick.

"I can't have you mucking up my hard woRkkk RED BOYY!!! LETS see HOW YOUR TINY LITTLE BRAIN WILL HANDLE THIS!!!???"

Shadrick Make a Will Save.

Meanwhile, the sexual deviants, Fane and Oana had toppled to the ground. Painful moans emanated from the couple, as they became a writhing mess of pale flesh. Their cries were like a dissonance which seemed very appropriate for the current situation.

With Ilquis distracted, the captives continued to cry until a deep bone cracking sound rung out. Not just once, but twice.

The heroes could hear a flesh ripping sound as a distorted animal grunt roared out...

And here comes the time for when thing become interesting...

Nicola, I think you're about to get some alternative targets.

They'll be debuffed to hell, basically enough.

FMC, I'd like to see Shadrick's fate before acting

Shadrick's Fate:

Blind & Stun Duration: 1d4 ⇒ 1

Welp, you got off lucky. Desna must be smiling over you...despite being a Zurite. Anywho, you're Blinded and Stunned for 1 round and then Stunned for 1 Round. Enjoy your ailment

Seeing the globe of light dip low, Fearn charges forward and leaps at it with his arms spread wide, seeking to grab the fey in the light.

Grapple Check: 1d20 + 6 - 1 ⇒ (9) + 6 - 1 = 14 Add +2 if Fearn can use his charge bonus as part of the CMB.

Grapple rules:
Grapple

As a standard action, you can attempt to grapple a foe, hindering his combat options. If you do not have Improved Grapple, grab, or a similar ability, attempting to grapple a foe provokes an attack of opportunity from the target of your maneuver. Humanoid creatures without two free hands attempting to grapple a foe take a –4 penalty on the combat maneuver roll. If successful, both you and the target gain the grappled condition (see the Appendices). If you successfully grapple a creature that is not adjacent to you, move that creature to an adjacent open space (if no space is available, your grapple fails). Although both creatures have the grappled condition, you can, as the creature that initiated the grapple, release the grapple as a free action, removing the condition from both you and the target. If you do not release the grapple, you must continue to make a check each round, as a standard action, to maintain the hold. If your target does not break the grapple, you get a +5 circumstance bonus on grapple checks made against the same target in subsequent rounds. Once you are grappling an opponent, a successful check allows you to continue grappling the foe, and also allows you to perform one of the following actions (as part of the standard action spent to maintain the grapple).

Move: You can move both yourself and your target up to half your speed. At the end of your movement, you can place your target in any square adjacent to you. If you attempt to place your foe in a hazardous location, such as in a wall of fire or over a pit, the target receives a free attempt to break your grapple with a +4 bonus.

Damage: You can inflict damage to your target equal to your unarmed strike, a natural attack, or an attack made with armor spikes or a light or one-handed weapon. This damage can be either lethal or nonlethal.

Pin: You can give your opponent the pinned condition (see Conditions). Despite pinning your opponent, you still only have the grappled condition, but you lose your Dexterity bonus to AC.

Tie Up: If you have your target pinned, otherwise restrained, or unconscious, you can use rope to tie him up. This works like a pin effect, but the DC to escape the bonds is equal to 20 + your Combat Maneuver Bonus (instead of your CMD). The ropes do not need to make a check every round to maintain the pin. If you are grappling the target, you can attempt to tie him up in ropes, but doing so requires a combat maneuver check at a –10 penalty. If the DC to escape from these bindings is higher than 20 + the target's CMB, the target cannot escape from the bonds, even with a natural 20 on the check.

If You Are Grappled: If you are grappled, you can attempt to break the grapple as a standard action by making a combat maneuver check (DC equal to your opponent's CMD; this does not provoke an attack of opportunity) or Escape Artist check (with a DC equal to your opponent's CMD). If you succeed, you break the grapple and can act normally. Alternatively, if you succeed, you can become the grappler, grappling the other creature (meaning that the other creature cannot freely release the grapple without making a combat maneuver check, while you can). Instead of attempting to break or reverse the grapple, you can take any action that doesn't require two hands to perform, such as cast a spell or make an attack or full attack with a light or one-handed weapon against any creature within your reach, including the creature that is grappling you. See the grappled condition for additional details. If you are pinned, your actions are very limited. See the pinned condition in Conditions for additional details.

Grappled: A grappled creature is restrained by a creature, trap, or effect. Grappled creatures cannot move and take a –4 penalty to Dexterity. A grappled creature takes a –2 penalty on all attack rolls and combat maneuver checks, except those made to grapple or escape a grapple. In addition, grappled creatures can take no action that requires two hands to perform. A grappled character who attempts to cast a spell or use a spell-like ability must make a concentration check (DC 10 + grappler's CMB + spell level), or lose the spell. Grappled creatures cannot make attacks of opportunity.

A grappled creature cannot use Stealth to hide from the creature grappling it, even if a special ability, such as hide in plain sight, would normally allow it to do so. If a grappled creature becomes invisible, through a spell or other ability, it gains a +2 circumstance bonus on its CMD to avoid being grappled, but receives no other benefit.

Female Fetchling Oracle of Metal 5 (29/29 HP)

As the sphere of light continues to circle around the room, Sanira turns and follows it.

Curse this infernal creature... how dare this being of the sun intrude on such splendid darkness.

Still spinning the chain, she lashes out again - hoping to drag the beast to the ground. Invisible or not, he'd be far easier to catch if he couldn't fly.

Does Fearn's smite bonus (+3) get added to that grapple roll?

Smite is only applied to attack and damage rolls.. So you've a total of +2 to grapple

Also, before I can post this round's results and continue, I'm waiting on Nicola to post.

Nicola moves next to the creature and also attempts to grapple.

Round 3 of Combat
At another round, the Chelaxian had a bright idea – to inspect the vat. He did notice that several of the wax vats were cold and solid – save for two with were luke warm. Vats 5 & 6 are Luke warm.

Pulling out his crossbow, Fearn pointed the instrument at the floating sun. Confident that he had a good idea where the fey was, he unloaded his weapon into the radiance. In that split second, Ilquis screamed out and blood began to drip on the ground.

Fearn hits, and deals 7 dmg to the monster. Total Ilquis dmg | 7 / ???

Following suite, Sanira swings with her chain, trying to pierce the fey's sun and somewhere within the brightness, Ilquis screamed in pain. ”Little bird has struck me! How dare she!”

Sanira deals 2 pts of dmg. Total Ilquis dmg | 9 / ???

IShadrick Mavis had gotten within distance of the Ilquis and called out the malevolent creature, doing his best to provoke the fey. Knowing full well that his enemy was narcissistic and overconfident, the Chelaxian was successful, but what followed after wasn't what he expected. The small floating sun had descended to an eye level with the fighter and glorious rays expelled out, showering Shadrick and rendering him to the ground.

Meanwhile to the side a bonecrunching and unearthly sound bursted from the writing slaves Fane and Oana. Not even Ilquis' sun could hide the horror as two shadows had emerged from the freshly slain corpses. Like a wisp of smoke, the two shadows floated with clumsiness.

Shadrick is blinded & stunned for 1 round and then stunned for another round.

And lastly came Nicola who fumbled to grab Ilquis, but seemingly missed within the floating sun. Strangly though, the would seemed to go silent for him.

Nicola misses. Also, 2 Shadows have entered the fray.

Also, i noticed that Sanira and fearn had already posted for next round - great by the way. I'll toss in the monsters action followed by Nicola and we'll get onto round 4.
