"Sure. But first we're goind to the cathedral." Gwenhwyfar tells leads to the temple to meet Father Zantus. "And? Are you coming? Do you have time?" she greets him
"Yes, I could make time. Please come tomorrow morning to get me. I'd like to familiarize myself with the place you plan the ceremony at and visit Fiona in the temple she oversees now." Father Zantus replies. "Do you have time for lunch? I would like to get to know the groom too." he asks smiling at Jimmy.
"Gladly." Jimmy replies with a smile
"Then let us go to the White Deer." Abstalar suggests and leads the way to the tavern next to the cathedral.
After all get seated and the order is taken he asks "I suppose you know who I am?"
"Somewhat. You lead the cathedral here." Jimmy replies
"Hey, I talked about him to you. Didn't you listen?" Gwenhwyfar protests.
"I did. You did tell me a lot about him, that he was like a father to you, but I can't say I know him."
"You don't have to know me that good. I just wanted to give you the chance to ask if you didn't know anything." Abstalar Zantus explains. "But if you're fine with what you know, I'd like to know who you are."
"There isn't much to tell to be fair..." Jimmy spends the next ten to fifteen minutes telling the father about his youth and his parents. He tells him about his time as a caravan guard and how that lead him to Sandpoint. He gives a few details about his time with Gwen since becoming a pathfinder.
"Ok. Maybe there was a bit more to tell than I thought" he says with a chuckle
"I know that you met at work. Seems like it was a good decision that I suggested Gwenhwyfar to Mrs. Heidmarch. It looks like you found everything Sandpoint wasn't able to give you." Abstalar tells.
"Maybe it was the view of the little outsider child that held me back. Now that I'm grown up, Sandpoint is a nice small town with a lot of nice people." Gwenhwyfar comments.
"It certainly is a nice place."
"We could ask Niamh if she wants to be a brides maid." Gwenhwyfar spills out as the idea enters her mind. "I haven't seen her in a while though. Is she still living at the guest house in the manor?"
"I honestly have no idea." Jimmy replies, concern showing slightly on his face
Looking where the sun stands Father Zantus starts "I need to get back to the Cathedral. It was nice talking to you." he tells Jimmy and shakes his hand. "See you tomorrow morning then." He gives Gwenhyfar a hug and leaves the inn.
"Likewise." Jimmy says standing and shaking his hand
"So... are we going back, or do you want to visit the glassworks first?" Gwenhwyfar asks.
"It isn't too late yet is it? We should try find something out about how much the window will cost." Jimmy says thinking
"Then let's go. I've actually never been there." Gwenhwyfar replies.
You go to the glassworks. You find the chimneys smoking. Entering through the representative main entrance you come to the reception. You get the information, that of course the glassworks can provide you with the desired windows, once you can tell the exact measurements. But they are still three month behind on the orders they work on.
"After you my dear." Jimmy says with a smile
"I guess we're done then." Gwenhwyfar replies and grabs her two companions to teleport back to Magnimar.
Standing in the midst of half a house on the Irespan she asks "You got an idea what to do? Or are we simply waiting until we move in?"
"If they are three months behind we will need to make another plan I think."
"In three month I'm able to pull that window out of thin air. Let's go back there is nothing to be done here." Abomentolor tells as he wants to go back already.
"Yes. We have to check on our wedding dresses too. Let's go." Gwenhwyfar agrees and grabs er two companions. With a word all are back to the tree in front of the guest house in Heidmarch Manor.
"What do you mean Abomentollor?" Jimmy asks shaking off the post-teleport tinglyness
"In three month, I'll be able to change the world to my will. A window for a house will be no problem then." Abomentolor tells.
"You certainly have high hopes." Jimmy chuckles
"That is just a realistic forecast of events. Only a few month ago my biggest feat was to create a magic cone of fire a few times a day. Now I can spam you with fire until the stone under your feet melts and create stone walls out of nothing. If I do a projection of that, three month in the future I'd say the ground around me will start melting where I walk and if I want a green sky, then it will change color." Abomentolor boasts.
"We certainly have all become capable of much more than we were a few months ago. It really doesn't feel like such a short space of time." Jimmy says thinking back
"Yeah." Abomentolor agrees. "Can you show me the way to your statue broker?"
"Indeed I can." Jimmy says with a smile
Abomentolor follows Jimmy to the house of Burston. Where they knock.
After a while Burston comes and opens the door. "Hello Jimmy. Nice to have you back. You're here without Gwenhwyfar today?" he offers a hand.
"Indeed we are." Jimmy says taking the hand in a from shake. "Abomentollor here wanted to speak with you."
"Yes, indeed. This guy here is going to marry Gwenhwyfar on Sunday and I need a pro to help organize the wedding party. Are you in?" Abomentolor asks.
"Well, that is on short notice!" Burston replies. "But please come in." Burston leads the two guests up to the usual room for tea and cake.
He offers both a seat, prepares the tea and serves it. The he takes a seat himself. "Since when do you know that you will marry this Sunday?" he asks.
"Not very long at all." Jimmy says with a chuckle, "Organizing everything is turning out to be quite complicated."
"Shouldn't be that complicated. It's an open air party on the Irespan. We got a famous chef from Sandpoint who is used to cook for the whole town. We're just short on tables, chairs, dishes and such. I guess you know where to get such on short notice. My carpenter wouldn't be able to do that. And I have no place to store them afterwards... yet." Abomentolor explains. "And some nice looking stuff. Like you did for the party at Heidmarch Manor."
"Not complicated. The trick is to find someone who hasn't a booking for the weekend already. But I know of no big event. Which leaves us with a good chance. What's your budget?" Burston asks.
"How much should it be?" Jimmy asks, unsure of what providing the goods will cost, "How much did the Heidmarch party cost?"
"You can have that plain and simple for some hundred gold. Or you go for more style and white sheets and pay several hundred." Burston replies. "We're talking not more than 250 guests, are we?"
"Well, it's basically however many people arrive." Jimmy says with a guilty smile
"If it comes to the worst, all of underbridge might arrive. If only for the free meal. But the invited guests are much less than 250. I'm not sure we know 250 people here in Magnimar." Abomentolor comments. "Are the people from downtown allowed to come up?"
"It is not forbidden, but if hundreds of the Underbridge-Inhabitants would march up there might be a reaction from the city guard." Burston tells. "Even if only someone fears for their roses in the front yard."
"I imagine Abomentolor can deal with the guard for us." Jimmy says with a chuckle
"Are you expecting me to bribe them?" Abomentolor asks. "How many of them Underbridgers do you want to feed on your party?"
"No I don't expect you to brine them. But you do have a bit of a reputation with them." Jimmy says smiling. "I reckon we might actually end up with the whole of underbridge so we should have a plan for that."
"I'm not well informed about the last census of that district. Haw many would that be?" Burston asks. "And I can tell you for sure, that we won't get that much tables with white sheets."
"That is understandable. I wouldn't expect it, but so long as we can arrange benches or chairs enough we should be fine. If we have to we could even get people to bring their own from home. I think perhaps organise as many as you can, I would rather we plan for too many and not need than to need and not have."
