"Well that is certainly understandable." Jimmy says squeezing her hand
"Then we need a plan how we make that work!" Gwenhwyfar replies. "We need someone who knows Nybor and is able to cast teleport."
"My ear rings. I'm sure someone is talking about me." Abomentolor tells.
"But first it is cake. Mum, do you want to come? I'd like to introduce you to Mr. Randolf Burston III and his cake. Especially his cake."
"I can't show up at someone's door just to eat their cake." Fiona objects. "Didn't I teach you restraint?"
"But restraint doesn't get you cake!" Gwenhwyfar replies.
"You're old enough. If you decide to embarrass yourself to get cake so be it. But I'm staying here." Fiona replies.
"That's your loss." Gwenhwyfar replies sticking her tongue out at her mum.
"Children these days." Fiona mutters, shaking her head. She collects the dishes to clean up the table.
"Jimmy, let us go meet Mr. Burston. And leave some old grumpy lady to her grumping about the youth - without cake." Gwenhwyfar tells making grimaces at her mum.
"Grump, grump." Fiona replies grimacing back and breaking out into laughter. "Enjoy your cake."
Gwenhwyfar joins in the laughing. "Will do. See you later."
She gets up and leaves with Jimmy to visit Randolf Burston III in his home in the Capital District.
Randolf Burston III comes to the door and opens for Gwenhwyfar and Jimmy. "Oh, hello. Miss Yongisdottir, Mr. Fiddle. It's a pleasure to see you again. Please come in." he invites them and steps to the side holding the door open.
"For me too." Gwenhwyfar replies biting her tongue not to ask for cake.
"The pouch with the coins for you is collecting dust already. The statues were sold really quick. And once the word spread I would have been able to sell even more at higher prices."
"But let's not talk business at the door." he scolds himself. "Let's talk over some tea and cake, shall we?" he offers.
"Yes please." Gwenhwyfar replies grinning like a Cheshire cat.
Burston lead you to his living room upstairs and serves tea, cake and a pouch with 200pp. "How have you been? I see you're still well, despite the dangerous expeditions you make."
"It was awful. Horrors after every door." Gwenhwyfar tells while helping herself to some cake. "But Jimmy will tell you the details." she adds as she has learned not to speak with her mouth full.
Burston looks amused at this 'unconventional' behaviour. Then he turns to Jimmy for the details. "Please don't get too graphic in your description about these horrors."
"Well what has happened since we last saw you..." Jimmy says thinking, "It was before we went to the ladies light I believe. Well were to start then..." Taking a breath Jimmy begins the story, "To keep it short... We went to the ladies light as part of an expedition, fought horrible frog things that Gwen converted to Sarenrae. I was killed and turned into a women, we found a giant that thought herself to be Sorshen and was quite mad, We fought demons and found rooms with blood oozing from the walls. We rescued some brainwashed soldiers and have helped them with a new life here. Since then we went to Kaer Maga and maimed a member of one of the ruling gangs for torturing innocents. We then visited the library there and did some work for them." Jimmy rambles off quite quickly as he thinks of things.
Finally breathing he turns to Gwen "We left a bunch of statues in our wake we should probably fetch and we have a few people we should check on I think." Jimmy says with a smile at her
"We killed the frogs and I brought the faith of Sarenrae to a tribe of Troglodytes." Gwenhwyfar corrects Jimmy.
"With the Lady's light I have drawings and of maps and everything. We could even make a catalogue before we fetch them." Gwenhwyfar tells while she shortly interrupts cake eating.
"You are correct dear, Do you have the notes on you so we can show Mr Burston?"
"Yes, they are in my backpack." she replies, takes another bite of the cake and dives into her pack to fetch them. She checks that her hands are clean and then flips through the pages.
"Look here: There are quite some statues of Sorshen." and flipping further she tells "And here are all the seven Runelords."
Burston looks at the pictures and is impressed. "I think the Runelord - Sorshen you said? - will be even better received. And a complete collection is quite the collector's item." he comments.
"Its a pity I didn't come here after our previous expedition or you could have met Sorshen yourself." Jimmy says with a chuckle
"What?" Burston inquires with a mix of curiosity and fear.
"He is just pulling your leg. We didn't find the real Sorshen. Just a few imposters. And a clone of her. And by magical accident Jimmy ended up in that body."
"Do you know what it costs to get that fixed? A lot of sold statues I can tell you." Gwenhwyfar tells. "But we two could have come visit you for cake and he would have been in the original Sorshen Clone body."
Burston looks at the pictures and at Jimmy. But he can't get that together. "I'm glad you're back to your old self." he tells Jimmy.
"But about the statues. I could sell them here, or we could try doing it big style. Do you think you could get Mr. and Mrs. Heidmarch to provide the park of her manor for a party?"
"There is enough room for the statues to be placed for presentation. Someone could give a lecture about the Runelords. And while enjoying drinks and appetizers the audience could drop their offers. Entry fee would be 100 gold per person. I'd arrange everything, the one giving the lecture would get paid generously and the rest would go as a donation to the Pathfinder Society, id est Mr. and Mrs. Heidmarch."
Depending how much money you think you could make from it, we could turn me back into Sorshen for a while. I think it cost us 15000 gold last time to turn me one way, so we would need 30000 to do both." Jimmy says thinking
"Are you crazy?" Gwenhwyfar asks Jimmy looking at him aghast. "You're provoking the gods! Also I'd rather just put you in a dress and a wig and use that money for something useful."
"That is why I said depending on how much we can make. If we can make double what we spend then we have a lot that we can use to rebuild." Jimmy says, "But it is testing out luck a bit isn't it. Maybe we should bring the golem to the park as well?"
"Having a live Sorshen there might loosen the purse of some of the men. And might cause some resentment in some of their wives. But we're not making that kind of money to get such an investment back." Burston comments.
"If you just need someone hypnotizing them with their boobs, then you could ask Tauriell." Gwenhwyfar replies showing clear signs of resentment.
"How long did Tauriell's illusion from her shard last?" Jimmy says having an idea
"As long as she wants." Gwenhwyfar replies.
"She used that once before to command the Golem, so perhaps she could use it to mimic Sorshen for the party."
"Let Tauriell fool the audience? That might be fun." Gwenhwyfar replies.
"But don't forget - first you need to get Mr. and Mrs. Heidmarch on board for that." Burston reminds them.
"Mrs Heidmarch is shrewd. If we give her an opportunity to lobby for political gain, I don't believe she will turn down the opportunity."
As the last of the cake is devoured Gwenhwyfar joins the talk again. "We could go there now and ask her. How long do you need for preparation? I'd say we can collect these statues within two days."
"Hehe, not that fast. It should be a weekend - preferably oathday in a week. If you manage to get the permission before this weeks Oathday." Burston replies. "I can't do faster than that. You need to give the people some time to sort their priorities and for the gossip to run it's path."
"We needed to take her your notes, so shall we go through to see her now?" Jimmy asks
"Yes, sure. Thank you for having us Mr. Burston." Gwenhwyfar replies.
"The pleasure is all mine." Burston replies.
"Thank you." Jimmy says standing and offering Gwen a hand up
Burston leads them to the door. "Please let me know as soon as possible if Mrs. Heidmarch agrees. Have a nice day."
"Goodbye. Gwenhwyfar replies and walk with Jimmy hand in hand back.
Back at Heidmarch Manor they visit Mrs. Heidmarch and Gwenhwyfar shows her notes.
"That's more like what I'm used from you. Very well. I'll let them copy. You'll get them back tomorrow with your reward as usually." Mrs. Heidmarch explains.
As the two don't jump up to leave she asks "Is there something else?"
"We were wondering whether you might like to hold a party and auction within your gardens?" Jimmy says not spilling all the beans quite yet
