Oops, sorry about that. 1d10+6=13 damage or if within 3m then (1d10+6)x4=39 damage
With the way they are moving, it's probably safe to assume that they are within 3m...
As the remaining two people shamble slowly out of the door Dominik's shotgun opens up, ripping gaping holes through the man, and leaving a tatter corpse behind.
Brother Malakai's chainsword similarly rips into flesh, severing the head of the woman, the two parts falling slowly, and eerily to the floor in the slightly reduced gravity of the damaged ship.
As the group moves into the room to investigate, they find another storage area, completely intact although the temperature is around freezing.
Ok, what do you want to do, and how long do you spend investigating?
LORAYNE THORNHALLOW
"well, i may not know much bout this spaceship stuff, but i would have to say that the enviromental systems are out of wack with the ventilation system. id postulate that the enviromental computer systems think that this room could very well be a meat locker and is blasting it with cold air to keep the food cold...
or it could be there is no heat coming in here due to some blockage in the heating lines...
or it could be that there is a microhole in the hull from micrometeorites adn the void is slowly sucking the atmosphere from this room at a constant rate..."
i take a long suffering look at brother malakai...
"or, for some unknown reason, the god-emperor decided to lift his finger from his golden throne and make this miserably cold just for our suffering."
Nathan Tsanthos
Nathan stops to think about what could be the cause of this.
Tech-Use and Scholastic Lore(Legend), do I know anything at all relevent to this? 1d100=67, 1d100=83

Sarvus searches his memory for any mention of the Bounty.
Damn that's a good occult roll!
The group begins a thourough search of the room, and Brother Malakai begins his rights. After about thirty seconds, he glances up from his book of prayer, to see one of the "corpses" begin to stir. Within seconds two of them have staggered to their feet, and are moving towards him.
Init please, and everyone except the brother Malakai is surprised, so misses the first round.

1d10+4=14 using Lorayne's bonus
Dominik whirls at the sound of movement and practically jumps out of his skin as he sees the corpses shamble and start to get up, his jaw dropping and a prayer to the Emperor coming to his lips.
"Emperor protect us! They still live!"
LORAYNE THORNHALLOW
1d10+4=14 ooooo snap!
i turn my head at the strange noise, thinking someone is about to pull a prank on me.
"i swear to the emperor, if your thinking about- HOLY THRONE ON TERRA!!! WHAT THE WARP IS THAT?" i shout in suprise.

Nathan turns around at Dominik's warning. "What- Why can't these things just stay down?!"

As Brother Malakai's flamer opens up, the two figures are engulfed in flame, and again, fall to the ground, singed and scorched. It doesn't take long though, before they are moving again, slowly creping up from the ground, despite their new wounds.

"I suggest we not waste any more ammo on them, just lock them in!" Dominik will back up out of the room, switching his gun to his off hand while drawing his mono knife with his good one.
Are there any other exits in this room other than the main one? Assuming no, I'm heading back towards the door we came in by.

So, everyone out and door closed? That'll be another Tech Use (Challenging) to get it closed before they get up again, If indeed they do....

Nathan dashes out of the room back to the control panel, ready to attempt to close the door once everyone is out.

After working out the mechanism before, Natahan closes the door with a quick few connections, and the ex-people, or whatever they are, are trapped inside, silently banging on the plasctrete door.
The only way forward now, appears to be the door terminating the corridor.
Assuming you are going that way, could I have a marching order again?
LORAYNE THORNHALLOW
yeah, we cant loose our money train, lol
"alright boys, listen up. dominik is on point. you see movement, you shoot to kill. no questions. next will be me to give supportive fire. trask, middle man, use that pistol and sword combo when it comes to melee. nathan and brother malakai, guard our 6. Keep it tight! i want a spacing of 3 meters betw each person"

The group moves through the ship, moving from badly lit corridor, to badly lit corridor. Fully half of the doors are locked and red-runed, showing inhospitable atmosphere beyond.
Of the rest, a quick check shows them to be clear of anything interesting, although once or twice, a set of corpses must be sealed in as it begins twitching.
Finally, you reach on of the entrances to the bridge. The door is again locked...
LORAYNE THORNHALLOW
in a loud whisper to my self that carries to trask
"awww, its soo cute the way he thinks he takes charge when a clearing action is about to happen." *loud chuckle*
"just like the man said, line up on the door. be ready to cut down anything we see; we let the god-emperor sort them out when the smoke clears. Just make sure to hit the target; we dont need the round hitting something important that controls the ship...."

"Oh for the love of the God-Emperor. Let me have a crack at that thing." Sarvus punches a random button.

Sarvus punches the control panel indiscriminately, and the door opens smoothly, the faint hiss of it's pneumatics echoing away.
Proper post when I get home from work....

The bridge of the Bounty is a disquieting sight, littered with bodies and blanketed in dust. Unlike in the rest of the vessel, there are signs of conflict here. Bulkheads bear las burns and bolt shell impacts, corpses are twisted in violent death, and spent casings are scattered across the
deck.
Stepping over the fallen corpses of the ships crew, you ascend to the command plinth and the foot of the Lord-Captain’s throne. At the base of the throne lies what must be the remains of the captain himself, broken and contorted, wires and tubes roughly severed or torn free from their housings. In his place atop the throne, a man in the robes of a Navigator sits, his head bowed, apparently dead. Curiously, the man’s hood is thrown back, revealing a strange metallic worm-like device attached to his forehead where his third eye would be. Suddenly the Navigator’s head snaps up, and he regards you with empty dead eyes.
The doors to the bridge suddenly close with a hiss, and a thud as deadlocks engage, and a baleful crimson glow envelopes the worm-thing, growing to encompass the whole form of the navigator.

As a group you open fire, shots flying at the once-navigator, with horror though, you see the shots bounce off, rounds clatter to the floor as the halo reflects all blasts away from itself, and inside, the figure remains still, and unharmed.
The same effect takes Brother Malakai, his chainsword bouncing off the force shield with such force, that he lands painfully on the floor.
At the same time, some of the corpses begin to move, and shudder.
Sorry, that was mean, but I had to let you all get some shots off before I let you in on the secret, didn't I?
