"It involves an hour of meditation in the sun, facing the rising and setting of it. Every day. I guess I'll need to put a chair on the top level." The Drow glanced down the hall where Taqan left. She had a feeling, but no proof. Wait a second. An idea struck her, "Where's that mask?!" Turning, she ran into the room.
Picking up the mask, she examined it closely.

"What? Tehanna...wait for me." She says with a laugh as she chases her into the room, "What...what is it?" She asks, while watching Tehanna look at the mask, a confused and curious expression on her face.
Eri la Grave
I'm not sure where everyone is timewise....so I'm not sure when exactly in all this Al would be showing up to snatch me up in his bear trap. Lol...my crazy tired brain.
Aleister Sune
"They're fine, we've encountered some locals and might try and bring them under our control. We thought Eri might like to join us if she's finished with her fun that is." Aleister answers.
Aleister Sune
"Great. That would have been awkward." Aleister says before marching off towards Eri's current location.
Eri la Grave
Already bored at the thought of Tehanna's attention being consumed by some boring ol' mask, Eri rolls off the bed and goes to the door. Opening the door with a sigh she says, "Oh, hey. What's going on?"
Aleister Sune

I'll assume that's me.
"We found of a group of hobgoblins I'm planning to subjugate. Care to join in?" Aleister asks.
Eri la Grave
Sorry, I was tired. Ived had about 24 oz of coffee now though, so I shouldc be good for a while.
She nods, "Yeah, sounds funner than sitting around looking at stuff. Just give me one quick sec okay?"
Leaving the door open she goes over tyo Tehanna and nudges her lightly, "Hey, we're gonna go have some fun with some lower life forms. Do you wanna go, or stay here and study your magicky stuff?"
Eri la Grave
Eri nods and kisses her cheek, "Then stay here and conserve your strength, and study that thingy. I'll see you whenever we get back."
Looking over at Al she says, "I'll be right there, just let me grab my stuff."
Going through the room she picks up her stuff and hefts her bag over her shoulder. Stopping at the door she looks back, "I love you, get some rest and I'll see you when I get home."
Facing the rogue she says, "Alrighty then, guess I'm ready to go."
Closing the door behind her, Eri quietly follows Al back to the room with the map thingy.
Aleister Sune
"We'll wait for you at the palace." Alesiter says, providing directions if necessary, before using the device to return to his previous location.
Eri la Grave
So wait....I was told the device only takes us to where we entered the mines, so wouldn't we both be walking back to the "palace", or am I missing something? Still pretty sleepy, so I just might not be getting something, but that was my understanding of the device. I still need more sleep.
Eri la Grave
My neck and shoulder muscle on the left side are really hurting, and making it hard to go back to sleep. I guess the flexeril I took last night at 7 last night with the melatonin wore off? Well, it's my left shoulder/neck, and my Right hip area that's hurting the most, so I'm having trouble going back to sleep after getting up to use bathroom. Sooooo....yeah buddy, I don't think you can just go off and leave me. Lol
Soooo....I'm pretty sure we would both appear at the entrance to the mine, which is why I didn't understand why you came alone, but whatever. I'm just a stupid dog girl, so I don't question the rest of you. In my beastly state I move a lot quicker though, so if you're small, you could maybe...I don't know, "ride" me back to where you guys were?
Looking at Al as they both appear right outside the mine, she sees his annoyed expression. Taking a hesitant step back from the halfling as he looked like he was going to explode she says, "I'm sorry....I didn't mean to cause so much trouble by going back with Tehanna right away. If I change I can move faster and maybe get us back there quicker?" Moving back from him a bit more, she automatically raises her arms a bit, as if expecting to be hit.
Eri la Grave
Unsure if he heard her or not she says, "Al? Did you hear me? If you want I can get us there faster. Where did you guys go?" She asks, unsure of exactly how far this palace place was.
Eri la Grave
She nods and seems to relax, "Okay, I'll just follow you then."
Eri quietly follows Al back to the place he was talking about, as her mind started wondering about other things.
Eri la Grave
Eri eyes the ones whose hands are bound, "Are these the ones you were talking about Al? They don't seem like much." She says while waving hello at the others. Her mass of brown hair is actually pulled away from her face in a ponytail, and her more....adult style makes her seem a little less like a kid, and accentuates her more feminine qualities, even if she doesn't really seem to notice.
Eri la Grave
Sighing she looks at Gio and Ravan, "So...are those two what you found in this dirty ol' city? What are we doing with them? They don't look like they'd be very interesting to....play with." She says in an almost disappointed voice.
Eri la Grave
Eri gives them a disinterested look, "Well, for their sake...I hope he's more interesting than they are."
Going over to the two that are bound, she changes right in front of them and extends a claw to poke each one in the belly, "You're a bit softer than I like, but I'll make an exception if you piss me off or try any funny business. Got it?"
Intimidate: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (6) + 12 = 18
Looking back at Ravan and Gio she says, "I'm guessing the reason they're tied up is that they tried something stupid?"
Eri la Grave
Eri looks up at Ravan, a little smirk forming at the corner of her mouth. "Oh really?" She asks, barely restraining a giggle, "Were they bad Ravan?"
Eri la Grave
She points a finger at the two that are bound, "Their Chieftain? They're just....well, I don't know what they are exactly besides ugly, but what if....what if they're just stupid creatures? I mean....I know I'm not the brightest lantern in the bunch...but what good is an army of idiots?" She asks, completely lacking any knowledge of how these things went or anything about the ugly looking creatures they had bound, she didn't understand what point there was. It didn't really matter though, it's not like she was in this group because of her brains, and she knew it.
Shrugging slightly she says, "It doesn't really matter to me, I'll do whatever you guys want to do. I already had my fun back at the house, and I'm not interested in studying stuff. How long is all this gonna take?"
Eri la Grave
Eri just sighs, and shuts her mouth. Maybe that would give Tehanna enough time to figure things out with that mask and scroll. Who knows....she didn't understand one single thing about magic. It was all over her head and under her feet as far as she was concerned.
The only thing she really cared about, was that whatever it was helped Tehanna. She just wanted to get this over with so she could get back to the base and Tehanna. She gets a sad kind of look on her face as she thinks about the strawberries and chocolate that would have to wait until she got back.
Not bothering to change back, she stays in her natural form. In case things got....ugly. She waits for the others to go ahead of her before falling in behind them and tries to stay alert for threats. Al was better at that than her though, so she didn't really worry too much. She was just the muscle.

Yeaaahhhhh.....so look, there's a rock, there's another rock. I wonder what Tehanna is doing right now.....distracted much? Lol
As they start walking, her thoughts wonder to Tehanna and what if anything she might be finding out about the items that Taqan gave her and if she would be okay without Eri being there for a couple days. Gio said like a day and a half...but things hardly ever went according to plan as far as she could tell.

We're gonna need a montage. Montage!
The next day and a half were fairly uneventful, other than one of the Hobgoblins trying to make a run for it. Feel free to spoiler what you did to him. Just leave him..............mostly alive. *smirk* Getting to the Hobgoblin village, you are unimpressed. It truly isn't that big, perhaps a hundred, most of which were females and children.
The guards get in defensive stances and halt you, "Wat is die betekenis hiervan? Waar is die ander?"
One of your two prisoners nodded his head back indicating you, "Verbrand en geslag deur hulle."
Looking the four of you, one of the guards ask, "State your business."
"What is the meaning of this? Where are the others?"
"Burned and slaughtered by them."
Eri la Grave
I'm guessing that's not the same as undercommon?
Eri looks around, utterly unimpressed. One of the ones they had bound had a nasty gash from one of her claws as the idiot actually tried to make a break for it. As soon as she saw him try to run off, she was on him like stink on $hit. She took off after him and tackled him from behind, leaving a nice size gash in his shoulder that was going to leave a nasty scar since they weren't gonna waste their magic on some stupid hobgoblin. That's what she learned they were.
Seeing their pitiful excuse for a village she shakes her head and says more to herself than anyone else, ""Oh, bai ... hau oso lagungarria izango da. Emakume eta haur beteriko herrixka bat. Zer suposatuko dute? Nire mokadu? Zer aurkituko dute hemen?"
Other than her own mutterings, Eri keeps quiet. Thinking that it would be better for one of the others to handle this particular situation.
Eri la Grave
Eri sighs and rolls her eyes at the guards. Not sure of everything that happened with these....creatures, and already feeling bored she gives the guards a kind of smirk befored deciding to speak, "Well, since they pretty much annihilated your little hunting party, I'm guessing they would would like to speak to whoever is in charge of your crappy little town. You can either take us to them, or we can kill you as well and find them ourselves. So, what's it gonna be?"
Sorry...I just figured Eri would be ready to get on with it. She's been away from Tehanna for a day and a half already at this point, so I'm pretty sure she's feeling eager to get back and running out of patience for people asking stupid questions. Lol
GM Scary Ceiling Voice
The Guards didn't budge, and behind them a tall creature with rough, green hide, clawed hands, and its bestial face with a hideous, tusked underbite.
"I think you're staying right here girlie. Until the Chief shows up," One of the guards said with a confident smirk.

She smiles right back, "Well, you guys might not be worth the effort...but I'll keep your friend as my pet." She says in a cocky tone as she takes a step forward, the smile never leaving her face.

I guess the question is, when we got up this day, since we already travel for one, after showing those little bastards what I'd do to them if they were stupid, did I stay in my beastial form, or did I change back into my human skin coat? I guess I would have to decide that?
