My post was eaten :(
The door to this chamber once had a pane of expensive frosted glass, which now lies in broken shards on the floor. As Donal sticks his head through it, he sees, several desks lying overturned, papers in disarray, and chairs smashed to kindling. Moving inside he sees more, a sturdy steel cabinet sits against the back wall, its doors much battered and dented. The mist here roils near the floor and ceiling, creating a strange patch of visibility stretching from knee-height to a few feet overhead.
The smoky tendrils flow up and down the walls unnaturally and savage visages swirl to life, fanged mouths agape, before dissolving into mist once more.
As you check out the room, you notice two shapes going through the stuff. A first is behind a closet close to the far wall, the other is hiding behind a desk. It are again humanoids, transformed into monkey-like creatures by the mist.

I'll still be busy until the end of next week, so I might miss an occasional day again, my apologies. From then on it'll be chill.
"I'm Saldak, I'm a scribe here for the museum."
Saldak is a blubbery scribe, his obesity the result of too many hours spent at a desk and his fondness for sweet cream pies. His jowls quaver and shake with terror as he recounts his tale.
"Early this morning, these strange mist flooded the offices. Kadarnik and Yannis were caught by it. They went mad! Mad!.. Like your friend there. At first its ok, but it took them only minutes before they went berserk. They also beat Milgen to a pulp in the lavatories. Can you check if he's ok? I fled here because I didn't want to beaten as well."
"I think the Tik Taan idols are responsible for the mists. I smelled something wrong with those hideous monkey-faced things as soon as Lugizar brougth them out of his pack.
I’ve a nose for trouble, I do! No one listens!"
He roots around the ransacked offices and produces a piece of cloth with words written on it in a strange tongue.
"Maybe this can help. It spells out a warning against the idols, but its written in poem so maybe one of you can use it as a magic scroll?" works as a scroll of break enchantment for normal spellcasters
If/when you have no more questions, the scribe flees the museum.

Olivia Adair

@GM: Don't worry, it happens to all of us occasionally! ;)
"Guys, do you think we should use this scroll on Teagan?" Olivia asks once the scribe's gone.
She turns to look at Teagan. "We need to prevent you from going nuts like those other people went, or else you may suddenly attack us. Knocking people unconscious also seems to revert them to normal, but using the scroll is likely to be more pleasant."
After deciding about the above, let's indeed go to the end of the hallway! :)
Donal Death-Greeter
|
"Best to save the scroll for the idols", DOnal rumbles, "Beaking the idol's enchantment may restore Teagan and we don't want to haul back active idols to the Society. Especially not if they are going to be monkey-ifying whosoever happens to be near them."
Donal wipes down his chains, "The idols must be further in. Let us see if we can end this matter quickly and cleanly"
Tavagra

Mock vines cling to the wall of this grand exhibit hall, and huts of grass are strewn about the open area. At the center of this sprawling chamber, a great stone ziggurat rises out of the mist, almost scraping the 50-foot-high ceiling. At the top of the ziggurat, a rail thin elven gentleman is strapped to an altar, his bare chest painted with strange sigils and monkey paw-shaped blots of paint.
A band of savage primates are snarling, spitting, and cavorting madly about the ziggurat. Nearly 20 apes, baboons, and other monkeys revel here, but a terrifying howl shatters the revelry after the group arrive and the primates scatter into the mists, making way for their champion, a large gorilla.

Its a Gorilla.
An adult male Gorilla is 8 feet tall and can weigh as much as 400 pounds. While generally shy and peaceful creatures when left to their own business, gorillas are territorial and become highly aggressive when provoked. This stat block can generally be used for any of the larger types of primates, such as gorillas—for smaller apes like orangutans and chimpanzees, apply the young simple template. Even smaller primates should use the stats for monkeys.
Of course, the mist might have something to do with making a bit more aggressive. :)
Only the gorilla seems to be interested in fighting at the moment. Although some feces are thrown at you by the other apes and monkeys they are mostly just making noice.

Guys, maybe for the future it can be interesting to have some way of communicating a dungeon-explore-setup. Right now I've just thrown everyone in at once, but it might be useful in the future to get some tank in front, glass cannons in the back etc. Any idea's on how to communicate this?

Color Spray, DC 15 Will. As for marching order, I think putting the tanks toward the front and the squishies toward the back is plenty, though if we wanted an official marching order, that works, too.
