background:
Teagan was born and raised in the river kingdoms. Hr lived alone with his father after his mother died when he was 2 years old. His father taught him much about magic and the way energy flows on the world. When Taegan turned 18 he left his home in search of adventure. Eventually he found himself further south in the Mana Wastes. He had to learn to survive with just his blade as magic was either too unpredictable or just didn't function. He was fighting for his life against a mutated troll when he was saved by an older man. This man was a Pathfinder. The two began to travel together, and Teagan told than about his life and what he studied. In turn the Pathfinder shared some of his stories of his past exploits and a Chronicle or two. Teagen learned much about the pathfinders from him. However after a while the man told Teagan thay he had completed his mission and would need to return to absolom. Teagan was about to ask if he could follow and perhaps join the pathfinders when they were set upon by bandits. The old man was felled by a crossbow bolt to the chest. Teagan slaughtered them all, uncaring to any wounds he recieved. After the battle Taegan stayed with the man's body for a few hours. He took his Wayfinder, gave him as proper a burial as possible, and set off towards Absalom to both inform them of what had happened and to join them.
