A few feet down the main tunnel, it narrows to just a couple of feet across in some places. Only small creatures can fit. It continues on for 50' and then ends at another hanging skin. A small light shows from under the skin.

I guess we're assuming that Chuffy is continuing on. If he doesn't post soon, someone else just take the lead.

At the end of the tunnel, you can hear chattering of kobolds and frantic scampering.

Gimlet tries to be sneaky.

As the group of small adventurers nears the end of the tunnel, the chattering stops abruptly and you hear a brief scampering, then absolute silence.

Gimlet will prepare to fire his fountain of colors at the first sign of danger, the words on his tongue and the components at hand. He protectively advances in front of Finn particulary concerned about tricky traps.
Perception 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9
Cannot medium sized creatures squeeze through the passage with penalties?

Medium characters could fit, but no more than light armor, 10' per round, and no ability to attack.
