Seiran Leogil |
Seiran Opens the door.
"Why not? Might as well do it."
Silgil |
Everyone looks in place.
Omrijka |
mostly because I moved everyone
Omrijka grabs Seirian hand as he moves to the door
" Now listen here On count of three I has a plan
Three Haliphod call on a friend he can summon
Two Sigil cast magic to aid someone
One Sami calls blessing of Gozreh for everyone
The Peter cries go you open de door and we all have some fun"
She smiles "Its better with a plan no?"
Samildanach The Dread |
Another post eaten! Hmm
Whilst Silgil scans the room for anything magic, Samildanach relies on his own eyes when looking at the various crates and boxes of stored exhibits and other items.
"There may be a clue in their somewhere."
perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
"Or not, let us get on with the last room then, I'd rather save the blessings of Gozreh if we need em, we got that scroll no? might be able to shut em off the clerk said."
Seiran Leogil |
Seiran grins as he hears the rather amusing the straight forward plan.
"Done."
with that said, he waits for that countdown.
Dungeon Master S |
A long hallway leads to this grand hall, wherein the Blakros Museum shows off its finest collections. Mock vines cling to the walls and hang from the fifty-foot-high domed ceiling, and huts of grass are strewn about the open area. At the center of this sprawling chamber, a miniature replica of a traditional Mwangi ziggurat rises out of the mist to a height of nearly twenty feet. At the top of the ziggurat, a rail-thin elven gentleman is strapped to an altar, his bare chest painted with strange sigils and monkey paw-shaped blots of paint.
Apparently you're expected... It also looks like you're in the nick of time as the gorilla looks like he's going to kill the elf!
Baddies: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
Peter: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 16
Haliphod: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
Samildanach: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 1 = 18
Seiran: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 1 = 20
Omrijka: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10
Silgil: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12
Dungeon Master S |
Feel free to have considered Omrijka's plan as executed. The gorilla seems to have skin that looks like palm tree bark...

Samildanach The Dread |
bless +1 Atk and fear saves
Stepping into the room, Samildanach looks around and swears under his breath at the crazy jungle carnage taking place in the heart of the museum. Having called upon the blessings of Gozreh he readies his trident and places a hand upon it calling upon the Storm-Father's gifts.
"Lord of Storms, grant thy sacred weapon the power to bite flesh and spill blood"
Cast Bless weapon on the Trident.
Omrijka |
Omrijka dashes forward and tries get in a blow on the beast before it can act
sap attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19
sap damage inc sneak: 1d6 + 3 + 1d6 ⇒ (6) + 3 + (6) = 15
Seiran Leogil |
An innocent in peril. Would it not require immediate attention?
and thus Seiran's thoughts are over ridden by instinct, he charges forward.
His blade clearing its sheathe in one single movement!
Shing! 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 111d8 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6 come on dice bots!
Silgil |
Feel free to have considered Omrijka's plan as executed. The gorilla seems to have skin that looks like palm tree bark...
In that case consider Seiran enlarged as per Enlarge Person. If you don't want to be enlarged you can make a DC 14 fort save. I updated your icon to 2x2 so if you do save please reduce yourself :)
Silgil will move up and cast Cause Fear after the Enlarge goes off using his bonus spell out of his bonded item.
Dungeon Master S |
The party quickly prepares for a knockdown, drag out, fight. Omrijka drops the sap right at the mastoid process, nearly knocking the ape out! Seiran misses though, not ready for the increased size.
Silgil's spell hits the ape Will: 1d20 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 + 2 = 13 and it panics!
The idol's eyes glow red with anger...
Round 1:
Seiran: Miss
Samildanach: Bless Weapon
Peter: Go
Silgil: Cause Fear
Omrijka: THWACK!
Baddies: TBD

Haliphod Kittrili |
Since this may be the only time I can post today, I will post now and you can adjust if necessary when Haliphod comes up in initiative.
Hearing Omrijka's plan, Haliphod starts casting Summon Nature's Ally (in place of Speak with Animals).
Peter Krauss |
Before enters there, Peter casts Magic Fang on Juhah.
Peter enters the room and shoots an arrow against the gorilla.
mwk composite longbow + bless: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (11) + 9 = 201d8 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5 -4 on the attack, Peter doesn't have Precise Shot, so, the total was 16 to hit.
Juhah follows Peter and stands by his side, guarding him.
Readied Atk (if anything attacks its master) - bite: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (15) + 10 = 251d4 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
Trip, if hit: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14
Dungeon Master S |
Peter's arrow drops the gorilla! The idols eyes flash and whispers of words both ancient and powerful fill the air. The elf is clearly out of it still.
For a moment the idol seems stunned by the loss of the gorilla. Haliphod begins casting a spell.
What now?!
Round 2:
Seiran: Go
Samildanach: Go
Peter: Go
Silgil: Go
Omrijka: Go
Baddies: TBD
Haliphod: TBD
Peter Krauss |
Peter drops his bow on the floor, draws his falchion and hits the idol with all of his strength.
+1 falchion: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (19) + 8 = 272d4 + 13 ⇒ (2, 1) + 13 = 16
crit confirm: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (9) + 8 = 172d4 + 13 ⇒ (2, 4) + 13 = 19
"TO HELL WITH THIS DAMNED MIST, MOTHERF##!ER!", he screams.
Dungeon Master S |
Peter's blade nearly cuts the idol in twain! The mists quickly begin to recede, but the elf is still unconscious...
Seiran Leogil |
The enlarged Seiran places his hands on the unconsious elf having proved himself entirely ineffective in a fight.
His hands begin to glow with a soft comforting light as he begins to attempt healing the elf.
Lay on hands 1d6 ⇒ 6
Dungeon Master S |
The elf's eyes flutter, and then open. "GAH!!!!!" He screams upon wakening to a giant sized half-orc. After a moment he calms down once he sees the trappings of a paladin.
Juhah also calms down and returns to normal.
He looks over at the idol and sees it rent asunder. "I am incredibly grateful! Please help me up."
He stands up and adjusts his glasses. "My name is Nigel, I am the curator. You've saved the museum from that awful relic. Please allow me to show my appreciation." He begins walking through the musuem surveying the damage. He eventually comes to a weapon rack. "This weapon is an incredibly ancient Mwangi spear that Chelish explorers found near the colony of Sargava during the reign of the expansionist Chelish prince, Haliad I. It would be worth a great deal to the Pathfinder Society and they’d hungrily pay to include it in their collection. Please take it!"
He finds the museum worker that you spared and gives a sigh of relief.
"Thank you Pathfinders, yet again, I find our mutualistic relationship most beneficial!"
Dungeon Master S |
You take the short walk back to the Grand Lodge. On the way you find the workers whom you tossed out, and they don't seem to recognize you at all.
With the curse of the Tik Taan ended, the Blakros Museum returns to business as usual (after some clean up). More importantly, Nigel Aldain now makes all of the Blakros Museum’s vast collection available to the Society for study and considers re-petitioning membership.
Well done Pathfinders, a job well done!
Peter Krauss |
In the way back to the Grand Lodge, Peter draws the attention of Omrijka, "so, will you accept my invitation for a beer at the Pig's Paunch?", he smiles to her.
Thank you for the game, fellows! =)
Samildanach The Dread |
Samildanach pats everyone on the shoulder after giving their report of a succesful mission, with a sigh the Half orc whoulders his pack and shield and makes his way to the port in Absalom.
"Not bad, see you around!"
Cheers everyone!
Silgil |
"I'm sure we will meet again. Until then, well met."
Seiran Leogil |
Seiran upon leaving is downcast.....
"Am I that hideous?" he moans to himself.
lol
