Alinya tries to kick dust in the dog's eyes.
The dust proves to tough for Alinya.
"That is one BAD dog!" Edwin mutters, almost approvingly.
He keeps looking for an opening to do something useful, and decides that aiding his large new friend with another heal might be a good way to stay in the barbarian's good graces.
So Edwin chants another tune, this one more martial in tone and rhythm, and the music knits together more of the large warriors injuries.
The dog bites Ragnvaldr again; he misses this time though.

Edwin snaps the whip once more, trying to entangle the little meat-mutts feet yet again,...
"I , said, SIT!,...Good boy." The detective smirks.
The thing is just too dense to trip that easily.....
Alinya; Ragnvaldr are up.
Now reaching the height of irritation, the Ulfen casts his shield aside and chokes up on his axe with both hands as he brings it down on the creature.
Ragnvaldr destroys the thing; its head comes off under his axe. It runs across the courtyard, slams into the wall, and falls inert.
600 exp each (I bumped it up a tad).
Daaaaaaayum.
"Sweet lady of death! Well done, Sir Ragnvaldr."

The Ulfen grunts, bending over to recover his shield. "Damned thing... what was that, anyway?" he looks to his more educated companions for an answer.
"A construct. A crafted thing, bolted together from old flesh and dead bone and spite. Somebody made it, and set it here as a guard. We should expect more of them, or worse."
"There's worse?"
Edwin gives a small but genuine smile at Alinya's description as he coils his whip.
"Indeed. A very nice turn of phrase Alinya. Have you ever considered a future in the performing arts? You do possess a natural affinity for wordcraft."
Edwin turns to Larissa, his serious look returning. "I'm afraid there's always worse Larissa. Humanoid-kind does seem to possess an uncanny ability to identify the worst possible outcome of a scenario, and find a way to top it." He adds wryly.
Rholf looks at the building as the others talk, watching for signs of movement.

Seeing Rholf studying the building, Larissa turns her attention to the task.
You hear muttering, behind the door to the north.
Don't see much of anything, but a still courtyard. With a dead golem dog lying there.
"Well then Master B... Leik. Lead the way! Perhaps through that door, if it isn't barred."
Leik will sneak forward and scout ahead
I put Leik up there in front of the door. What does he do?
He will focus on the ring for a moment to see which of the doors it pulls towards. If the answer is inconclusive, he will go towards the door on the east side of the room.
It's inconclusive.
Leik will listen at the door and assuming he hears nothing, will attempt to open it quietly and slowly, peeking in before opening further (and assuming he doesn't see an enemy immediately, he will open the door wide enough to progress.
This looks like a storage room. Boxes, crates, and bales of hay for packing (no bubblewrap yet....)
Leik will glance over the goods (not taking 20 or anything crazy, but trying to form a general idea of what sort of things they gather and store here in order to provide insight into what sorts of things are commonly done here.
