Would the lemure get turned into a shadow if it is drained of strength? I would think that it would just pop back to the Abyss,
Yea, it would just go poof back to their home plane. Summoned creatures don't turn undead when they "Die". Even if it were gated in, I don't think Outsiders can be turned into undead creatures.

I think that more powerful ones can be though, IRRC, there are devoueres and then a pitfiend got turned into some horrible undead thing, I cant remember the name, in the Wrath of the Righteouss, but it might also depend on DM.

High God, any sightings of the Beloved on the horizon?
I intend to incorporate them sometime in the campaign considering for two reasons. First it is around the time that they should be showing up and secondly the books actually say they were active in this region of the world. Unfortunately they aren't covered in the actual module but I do have the stats of them from the Amber and Iron novels.
As for Outsiders becoming undead, remember they technically they are "Dead" creatures even though they might emulate a living one. Outsiders are mostly crafted from the essence of creatures that once lived on the prime material plane. They are embodied Soul Essence.

If I am using the spell that the cleric cast could I fire the wand twice?
No, unfortunately you cannot use a magical item more than once a round, even if you have multiple attacks. The only way to cast more than one spell during a turn is have the Quickened Spell, which you don't have. It takes a "Standard" action to use a magical item. The additional attack from the spell does not grant additional standard actions, only an additional attack as part of a full attack action.

Ok. I didnt think so but I wanted to be sure.
Yes blessing of fervor provides not extra actions. You could spend a hero point though for another standard action, which can be used to cast a spell or activate a magic item.

Wow!!!!! Terevalis, what wonderful rolls you gave Athola. Thanx for looking after her while I was away. Took a while to catch up, over 100 posts done....
Let see if I can keep up the rolls against the shadow creature.
@Alathea, so many games. Are they all forum based games? I am totally impressed you can run so many games at once.

Lately it has been a grind being pressed for time in other areas. I will be on a business trip this week. Although away from home which is a drag it will give me MUCH more time to post in the hotel at night :-)

So I guess they miss and I get my spell off?
I was waiting on if you would provoke or not as there is a chance you may be hit.

What? No check is required. You move they swing you cast out of range and the spell goes off.
What are you asking with "Spellcraft check?"

Think we got a stalemate situation here.
Terevalis, are you planning to fly through the door way and take the risk of being hit by attacks of opportunity from two knights?
M Silvanesti Elf Wizard (Necromancer) 6/5 Renegade Hunter Int +2 AC 22, touch 22, flat-footed 10 (+2 Dex) hp 44 (9d6+9) Fort +5, Ref +6, Will +7; +2 vs. enchantments Defensive Abilities resistance; Immune sleep;

Their attacks will not stop you from casting. You are provoking for movement. You have to be hit by the AoO for casting for the spell not to work. Or be taking damage per round effect like bleed. So it is quite common for Wizards to move and provoke on the bet they don't have Combat Expertise just so they can cast with no worry of failure by casting defensively. I say common as in if you have wards such as mirror image and stuff running. Your movement will provoke. You can then be anywhere you want in the hall and cast. Pretty sure High God is just waiting on you to move and provoke.
Here I will just post it:
Injury
If you take damage while trying to cast a spell, you must make a concentration check with a DC equal to 10 + the damage taken + the level of the spell you're casting. If you fail the check, you lose the spell without effect. The interrupting event strikes during spellcasting if it comes between the time you started and the time you complete a spell (for a spell with a casting time of 1 full round or more) or if it comes in response to your casting the spell (such as an attack of opportunity provoked by the spell or a contingent attack, such as a readied action).
If you are taking continuous damage, such as from an acid arrow or by standing in a lake of lava, half the damage is considered to take place while you are casting a spell. You must make a concentration check with a DC equal to 10 + 1/2 the damage that the continuous source last dealt + the level of the spell you're casting. If the last damage dealt was the last damage that the effect could deal, then the damage is over and does not distract you.
