Cassie DuSollier |

"I suppose the stalker need not die, they could just remove their mask. Tell their employer what a merde he is and leave." Cassie says "I hold no grudge.... although I would check you airship for any bombs he might have planted. He won't want his hired guns to escape." their is still venom in her voice.
She looks to Kimefe; "Do you have anything to add?"

Meowselsworth |

"Believe me, if I were an assassin, I would have stepped forward by now and begged mercy. The assassins have little chance, the inevitable is just being delayed," says Meowselsworth, ears flicking in annoyance at Ingilstadt's commentary. "Frankly, Ingilstadt, it disgusts me how you cling to the idea that I am an assassin despite all the evidence to the contrary, but if you are not an assassin, then I hope you shall see that I am not either with your own eyes later. And when that time comes, I expect an apology. And should I perish due to your and Wowbagger's collaborations, wrongfully I might add, I hope that you and he will have the decency to relinquish whatever claims you have to the reward and give it to my eldest kitten. I can barely comprehend your reasoning for me being an assassin. I don't think you've even explained it, except that I have deceived you once. Could you run through it for me?"

Meowselsworth |

"And if it is really the deception that you are thinking I am an assassin based on, how about we remember Mr. Wowbagger's words?"
Wowbagger steps forward, "I have to follow the example of the noble helmet cat. A mutant crawled into Taraz's spaceship and was waiting for me when I put the space helmet on. As a retired galactic agent, I couldn't stand the voices in my head. I step forward and volunteer to take the place of the Baron. As I hear people constantly told to step forward if they are guilty, I will be the first to do so. If the Helmet Cat's information is being used, the charade is over.""Alas , I am guilty of responding to the helmet cats words when the mutant was in me."
Wowbagger points to his chess set.
"When I am down a queen or more against competent play, I do not play my games out."
Meowselsworth's tail swishes from side to side, "He later denied it, and I do not accuse him, even though I have no idea why he made the claim anyway, because I do not have enough information! But he too deceived you, if that really is a deception. So please do me the same courtesy and accuse me using information rather than your feeling that I am a bad cat who lied once and hurt your feelings. I have apologized more than once and said I regret that, I have been cleared by Lord Taraz, I have worked to flush out assassins from the very beginning using my meagre skills. In private or in public, that has been my intention and goal."

Ingilstadt |

"Clearly the helmet affects your memory, or perhaps you have the same condition as the late Baron. As I've stated already..."
Meows wrote: I only played one game
"HA, that is further dishonesty from the cat, let us recount:First, the cat originally called for people to reveal their roles to her. It was I who spoke up to say that it should be a Mason that people revealed roles to, otherwise things could be much worse.
Then, the cat says she did the Devil gambit without Alessandra's approval.
After that, the cat calls for the lovers to out themselves.
That is NOT one game!"
"It was your manipulations of others and your requests for everyone to reveal their roles to you and your deception in regards to the devil that made me suspicious of your behavior. I've raised my concerns for all to hear, there is no need for me to recount them further, draw on your own memory banks if you're interested."
"Plus, everyone knows that Cats are Stalkers by nature."

Meowselsworth |

"Those were potential strategies that would link everyone together. I outlined potential strategies, and you helped me refine them. And I did the Devil gambit after telling Ms. Devries about it, but she did not reply, and if I was to act, that moment was the perfect moment," says Meowselsworth. "Those were not games, as I have replied before. Only the Devil gambit would I consider a game. The rest were strategies that I put forward so that we may discuss and refine them. And we did. And they /helped/."

Ingilstadt |

"Since we are recounting past events, Meows, did I not just rescind my vote for you and still not cast it back in your direction after the Vorian accusation was proven false? An accusation that would have stood had I not questioned the so called authority figures among us and voiced my concerns based on suspicions. If anything, I just potentially saved an innocent from being lynched and based on your pleas for everyone to live you should be thanking me for my fortitude to stand up for Vorian."
"And assuming that all cats are stalkers is not racist, it's profiling."

Meowselsworth |

"Oh, I do and should thank you for a few things. I thank you for helping Lord Taraz, and now he may yet pull through: I do not have the digits to manipulate tools, and I hope that my Helmetcat Excellent Lifesaving Medical Emergency Tools helped, but it was your skill that helped the most. I thank you for rescinding your vote for me. And indeed, Vorian's accusation is not proven false as Lady DuSollier says, but has just not been assured to be true: It is likely based on the information we have," says Meowselsworth, inclining her head in concession to some of what Ingilstadt says, "Though if you challenge votes, perhaps you should voice it without suggesting killing me? It feels as though you have no doubt as to my guilt, which strikes me as strange, given that I am not guilty."

Rashida Massri |

Rashida looks between Ingilstadt and Meowselsworth in confusion. "Are you two...are you sure you aren't... I mean you fight like... You know, you could just go out on a date after this." She gently pets a little one-eyed Serv-Bot which has come with some of its brethren to surround their fallen lord. It shifts inconsolably, dropping tiny springs and gears.

Kimefe |

"I myself am not sure what to make of any of this. Too many accusations have flown with not enough evidence to back them up.
and although I would like to trust our masonic friends, I strongly believe that their group has been infiltrated... Still, they have not been wrong yet... And Mister Ritter has been rather quiet throughout this event."
Vote for Vorian Ritter.

Rashida Massri |

"Were any of you listening?" Rashida snaps, "There is no need to sully our hands with blood AT. ALL! The remaining assassin is harmless and will be found eventually. Vote to lynch anyone, and you run a high risk of killing innocents. I beg you, vote to lynch nobody. Do not give the sadistic Baron the pleasure of watching us descend upon each other like vultures on a wounded ox!"
Rashida glares at the voters. "I can slow down if you are not following."

Cassie DuSollier |

Apprehensively she places her hand upon his, her other finding his shoulders. Vorian can feel the tension in her body; with a violent release she pulls him towards her. "This'll prove to be fun, or at least unexpected."
The firm line of her body is pulled close to him, as the music starts she flows in his arms. Their eyes locked, like gunfighters, waiting for the other to make one false move. "Confession is good for the soul, you may have redeemed your soul if not your body." her words seductive.
"Please, if you are a stalker, run, Baron Von Ryuko cannot get you." Cassie pleads to Vorian
The dance ranges across the floor, the couple hears the others words and as they pass by Cassie responds.
"Yes Mr Wowbagger, the cat has been scryed one and found innocent, as has Bors Zadaa. It still leaves yourself, Ingilstadt and Kimefe; whilst Vorian has been scryed at least twice with one result to either." Cassie spins around.
"Assuming guilt it is only 56% chance of getting 2 guilty verdicts. As I have just found out we are in the other 44%" Cassie lets this sink in. With a peck on the cheek she whispers into Vorians ear "I still believe you to be guilty, dah-ling"
As she spins around the dance-floor tenuously holding Vorian she calls to the others; "The stalker does know that he has lost all he can achieve is to get a painful dead and cause us to take a few innocents with him."
Cassie's voice is thick with anger; "We have narrowed it down to 4 of you. We have to be certain, we do not wish to spill innocent blood. But I will. There is NO ESCAPE."
"Reveal yourselves, Flee and survive."

Vorian Ritter |

Vorian holds Cassie in his arms delicately, as one might hold a flower. The movements of the dance come as naturally as the smile on his face, though the sadness in the expression continues to prevail.
"A wise Wastrel once told me that 'Discretion can sometimes be displayed by those who are most overt by being so ostentatious if you look carefully.' Do those words ring true to you?"

Professor Alessandra Devries |

"Won't you and your coalition change their votes to not lynch anyone? Surely you see the reason in waiting? Why would we, who have been so patient, shed blood needlessly now?"
Taraz's survival was a sort of omen. After all their successes and cautious planning, to have the man die was a crushing blow to morale. Alessandra was willing to throw caution to the winds and follow Cassie's new plan, but eventually cooler heads prevail. "I'd gladly see nobody die this hour. When I saw Taraz fall... I assumed the worst. You can imagine the thoughts that must have been racing through my head."
Change vote from Vorain to null
We'll need to act fast when we get the heads-up about voting coming to an end, to ensure that either everyone has cancelled their votes or people jump in to tie the voting.

Ingilstadt |

Fingers still petting the helmet cat, Ingilstadt summarizes the scrying results again.
"So, Leto was investigated twice, Zombi investigated twice, Vorian investigated twice, Meows investigated, and Bors investigated. The only ones left to investigate are myself, Wowbagger, and Kimefe. So we have exposed most of those with abilities then, assuming this is correct:
The Masons are Alessandra, Gorski, and Andrezi.
The Banners are Taraz and Cassie.
The investigator is Rashida.
"Then I can't help but notice that Jin is not among those being investigated. Why was he omitted Cassie?"
"I don't understand why any of you would lynch Vorian when you know an investigation against him failed? You truly have the same odds if you just lynched an unknown person like myself. This is exactly contrary to everything you have advocated for thus far. Please, if you are dead set on lynching an unknown person, then lynch me, I'd rather face my murderers than be stabbed in the back like Taraz was."

Cassie DuSollier |

"If it's not you Vorian, then whom..." Cassie voice holds sorrow and emotion as she knows what is to come. "Is this party to be bathed in blood? I...I don't want that, Von Ryuko will succeed if not in killing us but killing our spirits. We will always know what happened here..."
She flicks her leg around him, making Vorian put her into a bow as the music is silenced. "Of course if you are the assassin then it is noble - if stupid to await the executions axe..." Her hatred of the man has mellowed during the dance and prior confessions.

Meowselsworth |

"Aha, Lord Taraz is stirring! This is very good!" says Meowselsworth, cheerily. The feline listens to Ingilstadt, and says, "Perhaps it was that Lady DuSollier did not have the result of the second investigation yet when she made her accusation? There are often reasons, you merely need to imagine them. As someone seldom kept in any loops (by my own request, mostly), imagining reasons is something I have been doing much of."

Cassie DuSollier |

Cassie falls from Vorian's arms; she scrabbles across the floor to watch Ingilstadt's work and look upon Taraz's form. "Yes, he lives....?"
Ingilstadts' question gives a quirk from her eye-brows, just above her harlequin mask. "The cat is correct again, silly thing." she rubs the back of Meowselsworth. "As soon as I heard of the second psychic reading, I told you. And I told that we should not lynch Vorian without further attempts. As I said if he is guilty this is only a 44% occurrence."
"I entreat people to show compassion for nobles not to lynch, for we do not want to be the inhuman animals our host wants to turn us into." Cassie says whilst looking at the horrific injury Taraz has received.

Taraz the Wastrel |

Upon his movement, a surge of Serv-Bots rush up and begin assisting Taraz into a chair. One slightly larger Serv-Bot grabs a couple others and seems to manipulate their shape until they resemble an IV stand with little waving arms and telescopic eyes. It then quite swiftly and efficiently puts a needle into Taraz's arm and hangs a bag on the new Serv-Bot stand. Taraz seems to be somewhat subdued as Rashida frets over him, but smiles and says nothing to dissuade her attention.
Weakly, he says to everyone, "My apologies for that lapse in judgement. I allowed the drink to make me forgetful and failed to protect myself from the predations of these assassins we are here to prevent." Taraz chuckles and then winces as the movement pulls his back muscles. "I can't imagine you are feeling terribly confidant in my ability to protect anyone."
Looking around, Taraz looks slightly dizzy. "I am not certain what is happening currently, but I am sure I will be brought up to speed shortly. Was the Baron Gigus in fact an assassin? I can't seem to remember much beyond my dance with the young Kimefe."

Meowselsworth |

"Yes, Lord Taraz, he was an assassin. He nobly took his own life upon the realization that he was a construct, a construct that Baron von Ryuko set upon us," says Duchess Meowselsworth. "The smoke was too much to bear, so we ran out, but upon returning... that was when we found you. I am very very glad that you are okay, Lord Taraz!"

Cassie DuSollier |

Cassie laughs wanely; "And what a dance..." remembering the sparkling elegance of the pair.
"I am sure you'll be fine.... the Baron." she catches her breath trying not to sob. "He was.... an assassin. Created by Von Ryuko, hence the title."
"He was a robot..." her voice light with pain.
"I am sorry."

Taraz the Wastrel |

Taraz sways slightly in his seat as he reels from this announcement. His face seems pale which may be the blood loss or the effect of these words. "I...I...am disturbed to hear that...This would mean..." Taraz glances sharply up to where von Ryuko sits watching the proceedings.
Then he groans (perhaps it was meant to be a sigh). "That definitely bodes ill."

Cassie DuSollier |

A smile crosses her face, as Taraz makes a request for food. She hardly hears the actual words, as she slides across the floor on her knees to his side. gently she puts her had upon his face. "It'll be alright now..."
But as he winces at her touch, Cassie starts; "Sorry, I..." As Rashida leaves Cassie looks down at herself. Torn dress, face stained with tears, blood and pneumatic fluids. Her pale gloves covered with grime she peels them off. Looking at one of the servants; she points her gun at him. "Take Baron Von Zombi to my Airship, or else." her eyes filled with hatred and pain as she looks up at the Baron on the balcony.
She spins on her heels to wash -up.

Taraz the Wastrel |

"Just a turkey sandwich, Taraz? I would think a man of your tastes would have Wild Grain Ricron with Camigo Sauce or Roast Shnootallen in Azure Wine Cream Sauce.”
Taraz looks at Ingilstadt in surprise. "I am surprised you have heard of those dishes. My family encountered an alien race similar in coloration to Wowbagger that ate such things."

Cassie DuSollier |

Flicking her head back, hair streaming into a wild tail. All make-up sloughed off. She moves gingerly to her friend; she puts a hand on her far shoulder. Just leaning her head there upon it, in silence....

Rashida Massri |

Rashida leans her head against Cassie's for a long, silent moment, struggling to calm her breathing. "I just found him, Cassie. I'm not ready to lose him," she whispers.
Soothed by her friend's comforting presence, she soon shakes herself. "I need a servant to fetch a change of clothes. Then we must go out and get to the bottom of this, Lady DuSollier. One lurker remains. There can be no more mistakes."

Cassie DuSollier |

The assassin will strike Vorian." her voice dead as she states it matter of factly. "Don't,... I take responsibility. Yes, we are not sure, but this ends here."
"What if there was another mistake, I couldn't lose you or Taraz." her image reflected in the mirror has a hundred yard stare.
"I believe he is resigned to his fate. But his blood will be on my hands,....like Taraz's" Cassie shakes her head; "If they don't step forward then..."
"Von Ryuko has gone through our clothes, his servants know them. I get you some." at their hosts name Cassie has a hint of anger bleed back into her voice.
Cassie robotic-ally walks to the door opens it, calls over a servant and whispers to him. He returns a few minutes late with 2 dresses.
