RP:

The final days of the world are upon us, and at the advent of the eschaton, the full might of Alosvalophos is unleashed with abandon. The Chronciles of the Ages end in the fire and tumult of war!

"Oh you poor fool, Lord Yogga!" calls Alosvalophos, laughing from his position of dominance in the sky, his Godly form utterly filling the expanse of the skies, blocking utterly both Sun and Star, but providing warmth and light from his own being. His is now a luminous body, measured not in feet, nor miles, but in astronomical units! "You wound my chosen, but you do so little to protect your own! Attack us as you may! Bleed us if you will! But WE. Shall. PREVAIL!

"Onward, my chosen! Eternity Awaits! I have dipped deep into my Well of power; yea, I have quaffed my thirst in its nectar! My followers, march unto the Infinite, joined in the bounty of my power! Ravage this world! RAVAGE MY ENEMIES!"

With utter disregard for their losses inflicted with such brutality by Lord Yogga, the Centaurs advance with ceaseless aggression against that would be God's forces. Taking advantage of the swiftness of their hooves, the Centaurs do not meet the armies of Lord Yogga, but bypass them entirely, attacking at his undefended settlements like a plague of locusts descending upon a field of ripe wheat. The similie is fitting, for their appetite is rapacious, differing only that they feast on honour and blood rather than vegetative sustenance!

"And do not think you get away with such tricks either, o! Red Scaled One! Suffer the same! And you, SINNER! Allow my sons to aid in the RAPTURE of your people! The Iremae be blotted out, exterminated forevermore!"

An army of descending sons, led by the titan form of Atilliax, fall upon the enemies of their father, and in their wake there is naught but devastation! These sons assure that not a single weapon from any of the armies of the rival deities even reach a Centaur life. Indeed, their armies are destroyed ere they even come within a 100 leagues of the nearest settlement, utterly crushed beneath the gigantic, heavenly arms of the clans. The only such armies are the meteor-infused defenders which cannot be touched by the miraculous workings of Alosvalophos and his kin.

"This world itself is now MINE! I am now God--none stand before me! O! Black Vizier! O! Lady of the Void! I summon thee to witness my triumph and grant unto me the promised dominion!"

The Ages Conclude

Divinity Forge game 1 is now officially OVER!

The Progress of War

Alosvalophos attacks Lord Yogga at N12.

Alosvalophos has armour 2 + weapons 10 and Lord Yogga has weapons 4 and armour 10.

Alosvalophos has 1 Centaur, 2 Cordyceps, and 1 PX army v. Lord Yogga's 2 PX armies.

2 + 4 = 6 - 4 = 2. Lord Yogga must roll a 3 or better to defeat Alosvalophos' armies.

Alosvalophos:
Centaur: 2d6 ⇒ (6, 4) = 10
Cordyceps: 4d6 ⇒ (2, 2, 4, 2) = 10
PX: 4d6 ⇒ (1, 4, 3, 3) = 11

Lord Yogga:

The Age of Gods Ends

The Entity returns from the distant beyond, her unspeakable presence felt by the gods of this world and yet its people go on living, blissfully unaware of what passes above. She gathers the divinities before her and smiles.

"You have fought well for this scrap of existence, but now it must pass into a new era. Its people no longer have need for gods and will survive by their own strength and ingenuity. So, to those of you that failed, I give you a choice:"

"Fade into obscurity, and be forgotten; it is a restful end for a weary god. Or, abandon this realm to seek another; to start anew on a virgin world."

Her gaze narrows, focusing on the lord of the centaurs.

"Alosvalophos. You have proven yourself worthy of an even greater task. You are granted the power to ascend from mere planetary god to a galactic power, where you will gather new gods just as I did here. In time, one of them will join us, and the cycle will continue."

The starry form of the Entity fades, leaving the centaur god above a new, untouched world. What strange forms of life and their unknown gods will come to dwell here?

Thanks for playing!

Thank you everyone for taking part in this experimental game. And apologies for losing the will partway through. A big thanks to the Black Vizier for running things in my absence!
