Did Noonan move or act this round? I know he saved against the spell.
Shad's flames lash out and try to burn the cleric.
Reflex: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (12) + 14 = 26
The feathers on his wings smolder as the fire washes over him but he seems to avoid most of the flames.
Tariq's blades slash hard into the cultist and blood flies off in ribbons across the ancient sandstone.
Dwalindor meanwhile drives his hammer hard toward the flying demon cleric.
His earthbreaker slams once into the flying cleric but fails to connect the other two times.
The evil maftet cleric boldly moves in between the casters and slashes at Noonan and Ba'set with his sickles, trying to slash into them and bring them down.

The blades slash deep into the cleric and cat and he turns an evil grin on all of you.
I told you you'd pay!
The cultist, bleeding heavily, tries to return Tariq's assault.

”Leave the old man alone you hag!“

And I have seen better beards on dwarven grandmothers. That's it Noonan...smack em good.
| DMummy |
Noonan's own mace flashes with the effortless grace of a Sarenraean scimitar and slaps home on the same places Dwalindor's hammer cracks down.
The demon-worshipping cleric's face is gray now, barely clinging to life.
No...it can't be...I was supposed to bring his power to all to punish them! Punish them for...their...sins...
Dwalindor the Pahmet
|
Oh shoot. Are we up again?
| Tariq Ibn-Ziyad |
”Wow! I’m surprised. I thought he would already be dead. Anyway, here we go. Your god sucks, ours doesn’t, so goodbye.”

”Hey! Anything left for me? “
assuming that finishes him. So action will depend on any other targets

Shad takes a five foot step back and fires an energy ray at the cleric.
Energy Ray: 1d20 + 9 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 9 + 1 = 19 vs touch for 4d6 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (1, 1, 3, 4) + 1 + 2 = 12
Userib screams at the renewed attacks, the energy blast carving the last hole through him as Dwalindor and Noonan pound the corpse into the stone.
Tariq meanwhile slices through the other maftet, cutting her down to size and causing even more blood to spill onto the floor.
The once peaceful, if incredibly profane, room looking like a hideous tableau as you've killed the last of the maftets.
Belatedly you look down at the cleric and remember your promise to the maftet chieftan to try and save their lost son - who could very well be lying at your feet.
Dwalindor the Pahmet
|
Dwalindor drops from rage.
Um...well...Noonan, guys...that looks like it. Weren't we supposed to do...something when we...found this guy? I think I was...drunk...drinking...ok drunk...at the time. I don't remember.
The dwarf looks down at the slain cultists with an exhausted expression as he regains his composure.
Do you think there is a reward for him?
| Noonan3 |
Noonan sighs and tries what he can, laying his hand on the cleric
Rebuke Death (Sp): You can touch a living creature as a standard action, healing it for 1d4 points of damage plus 1 for every two cleric levels you possess. You can only use this ability on a creature that is below 0 hit points. You can use this ability a number of times per day equal to 3 + your Wisdom modifier.
Rebuke Death: 1d4 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10

”And remember- honesty is the best policy...so no making stuff up to save your skin!“
| Tariq Ibn-Ziyad |
”The grace of Sarenrae has brought you back to the world of the living, your father wishes you saved. It seems our Goddess has the same belief that you may be saved. Your goddess let you fall and rose up to consume your immortal soul.”
Tariq looks to Dwalinor.
”Should I place him in manicles?”
Dwalindor the Pahmet
|
You know it! Dwalindor spits.
I ain't gonna trust him until we hand him over to his old man.
Dwalindor the Pahmet
|
Lesser races? Right. Good thing I am a Pahmet then. Dwalindor smirks at the crazed zealot.
He turns to Noonan and Tariq.
So guys, are we gonna march this nut job all the way back to his old man?
| Thorrpe's Shadow |
I'm sorry guys. I hit the x and wasn't seeing notices. My bad. So sorry you had to wait for me
| Tariq Ibn-Ziyad |
”Well. Did we clear the place out? If we did then I suppose we need to take him back, but aren’t there still rooms to clear?”
Dwalindor the Pahmet
|
Good question. Dwalindor was thinking the same as well, but I could not tell if we missed any doors.
Yeah, let's make sure there ain't no others of this rabble hiding out here to cause problems next week after we leave.
| Tariq Ibn-Ziyad |
I may have lost track, but there are scorpion people inside and I don’t think we have met up with them yet right?
Dwalindor the Pahmet
|
Dwalindor has rope...but what is this 'soap' stuff you speak of?
Ok, Tariq, we better check around a bit...unless sparky here wants to tell us where to look.
Dwalindor will dig his rope of out his pack and hold it out.
Shad, are you good at making binding knots?
Dwalindor the Pahmet
|
Dwalindor will wait for Shad for a minute to disable the guy.
Otherwise, he will take-10 for a 26 Survival check on the knots
| Tariq Ibn-Ziyad |
| 1 person marked this as a favorite. |
Tariq is digging through his pack.
”You know? That’s really weird. I could have sworn I had manacles in here after one of the battles with the cultists, but it’s not in here. I checked my equipment list too . . . “
<<<Rummage rummage rummage>>>
”Hummm . . . “
”I guess Noonan could un-curse him tomorrow morning . . . “
”Ah! Here is it!”
Tariq walks over to where the dwarf is tying up the catman.
He points to a corner away from him with a sudden wide eyed look of fear.
”Oh no! It’s Areshkagel! Come to save his b+#+@-minion!”
Bluff: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (14) + 12 = 26
When the prisoner looks, the Desert Rake, whaps him with his coin purse sap.
Sap: 1d20 + 14 - 3 ⇒ (16) + 14 - 3 = 27
Sap: 4d6 + 1 + 6 ⇒ (6, 6, 5, 1) + 1 + 6 = 25
”Aaaaaand BLAPP!, yep. He’s out.”
”Sorry about that guys. It’s just easier when they are relaxed and he really exposed the base of his skull when he looked.”
”Anyway, now we can check out the rest of this place while he takes a nappy-nap.”
”I could even leave the cat to eat him if he tries to escape.”
| Tariq Ibn-Ziyad |
”Ummmm, well . . . I was afraid you’d not like my idea so . . . “
Tariq throws up his hands and claps.
”But anyways! We are past that now and he is resting peacefully.”
”Dwali push his tongue back in his mouth.”
”So we can move forward.”
Dwalindor the Pahmet
|
Just so long as you didn't kill the sap with your sap...
then we best get moving before he wakes up.
Dwalindor shrugs as he coils his rope and puts back in his pack.
| Thorrpe's Shadow |
Shad comes back to reality and ties him up anyhow
1d20 + 19 ⇒ (16) + 19 = 35 dd

With the maftet cleric bound, unconscious, manacled and gagged you're now free to look around, loot the people for their stuff or turn around.
You are at the blue arrow and you've been in every room you can see except for the southeast room.
You'd be heading back to the entrance and heading left.
Dwalindor the Pahmet

I must admit I lost track of our path here. There are lots of rooms with doors to the north of us, but it looks like we'd have to backtrack. Or is there a connect from this room? (or did we already travel through those small rooms to the north?
Very well. Lets get moving. Are we leaving him here? I ain't carrying him you know.
