Mobo - this round
Mobo casually reloads his pistol and then once again carefully aims at the yeti attempting to flank the group while yelling to his archers in goblin and pointing.
Shoot the big yeti or it will eat you.
Attack-ranged touch: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (18) + 10 = 28
Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 1
It is an accurate shot, unfortunately while the bullet strikes the yeti almost between his eyes, the thick skull of the yeti simply deflects the majority of the damage.

Kostinantio Vishki |

One of the hulking brutes (that is not on our side...) is getting far too close for Kostis taste (R8). He will still try to work with the cantrips but might resort to one of his remaining spells if he comes closer.
1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
Hah, with a bit of luck the yeti didn't notice he was attacked by the funny looking human...

DM Zyren / Heart of Journeys |

The yeti seems rather annoyed by Jez' attack but since the tiny blue-haired creature is already wounded he plans to smash it under one of its furry claws...
Mobo's attack isn't even recognized as one...it felt like a breeze of fresh air...

Since neither have posted in a week.
Ragnvald - Round 4
Having used his magic to maximize damage, the great Ulfen continues to proclaim to greatness of Gorum as he swings his huge sword with two hands seeking to cause the yeti to recall why it is that the Ulfen, and not the yetis, who rule the north.
Attack-greatsword: 1d20 + 7 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 7 + 1 + 1 = 29
Damage: 2d6 + 6 + 1 ⇒ (6, 5) + 6 + 1 = 18
Nymeria - Round 4
Seeing her first ensorcered arrow strike home, the elvish sorcerer again draws back her bow and fires at the flanking yeti.
Attack-longbow: 1d20 + 5 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 5 + 1 + 1 = 8
Damage(gravity bow): 2d6 + 1 ⇒ (2, 2) + 1 = 5
Ragnvald - crit confirm
Crit confirm: 1d20 + 7 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 7 + 1 + 1 = 19
Damage: 2d6 + 6 + 1 ⇒ (1, 1) + 6 + 1 = 9 <-- hmmm, the damage seemed much nicer on the first roll, but hey, can't complain
Ragnvald smiles as the freezing blood of the yeti spurts forth from the gaping wound in its side. Nymeria on the other hand is not so sure of herself as she manages to misload her bow with the arrow flying harmlessly off to the side and striking a tree directly behind her.

DM Zyren / Heart of Journeys |

The yeti roars in anger and lashes out at the pesky human and the icy claw bites into Ragnvald's flesh
Yeti attacking Ragnvald / Claw strike1d20 + 9 ⇒ (10) + 9 = 19

Yeti attacking Jez / Claw strike1d20 + 9 ⇒ (5) + 9 = 14
Damage1d6 + 4 + 1d6 ⇒ (6) + 4 + (5) = 15
Yeti attacking Jez / Claw strike1d20 + 9 ⇒ (16) + 9 = 25
Damage1d6 + 4 + 1d6 ⇒ (4) + 4 + (3) = 11
Cleave:
Yeti attacking Attalas / Claw strike1d20 + 9 ⇒ (8) + 9 = 17
Damage1d6 + 4 + 1d6 ⇒ (3) + 4 + (3) = 10
Yeti attacking Attalas / Claw strike1d20 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10
Damage1d6 + 4 + 1d6 ⇒ (4) + 4 + (6) = 14
All around you the screams of the dying humans and goblins fill the air and slowly you wonder if you can really win this fight
At least the human soldiers are able to bring one yeti down too...

Is the second 1d6 cold damage? I have resist cold of 5, so I assume that the extra 3 damage does not affect me.

Attalas |

R3
Repeating his previous pattern, Attalas attacks to the right,
Attack 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (7) + 10 = 17
Damage 3d6 + 15 ⇒ (6, 4, 6) + 15 = 31
...before sweeping left.
Attack 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (3) + 10 = 13
Damage 3d6 + 15 ⇒ (6, 6, 4) + 15 = 31

Jezbazeel Ruckskal |

DMZZ - Just so that I am clear as it may affect how I post. Is the second 1d6 cold damage? And if so, am I resistant to most of it with Resist Cold 5?

Jezbazeel Ruckskal |

Sorry, this thread has really quieted down and I did not realize that I had not posted.
Despite the hits she is taking, Jez continues to pound the yetis near her.
Attack J5: 1d20 + 9 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 9 + 1 + 1 = 21
Damage: 2d4 + 7 + 1 ⇒ (3, 3) + 7 + 1 = 14
Once again, her big blade bites deeply into the icy creature before her.
After swinging, she shifts back - L3 - in the hope of avoiding any more blows from the yeti before her.

Jezbazeel Ruckskal |

This is getting frustrating. Last time I posted, both Ragnvald and Nymeria posted shortly thereafter. Lets see what happens this time.
Nymeria - Round 5
Despite the rather misdirected path of her last shot, Nymeria takes a deep breath and once again draws back her elven longbow seeking to and the attack of the flanking yeti.
Attack-longbow @ S7: 1d20 + 5 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 5 + 1 + 1 = 10
Damage(gravity bow): 2d6 + 1 ⇒ (2, 2) + 1 = 5
Once again her arrow flies wide of its target. However, seeing the yeti closing in from the side, the elvish sorceress quickly moves back from the flanking attackers.
Move to Q1
_______________
Ragnvald - Round 5
The great Ulfen once again swings his massive blade seeking to eliminate the threat standing before him.
Attack-greatsword @ J5: 1d20 + 7 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 7 + 1 + 1 = 22
Damage: 2d6 + 6 + 1 ⇒ (4, 6) + 6 + 1 = 17

Jezbazeel Ruckskal |

Agreed.
Ragnvald has 22 posts since New Years.
Nymeria has 14.
Attalas has 40.
Kostinantio has 17.
Mobo has 43.
Jez has 79.
We each used to have ~1 post per day. At this point, several people are barely beating 1/week, and probably a chuck of these are in few 2-3 day periods. As much as I love Jez and the rest of the crazy crew, unless the three absent posters start to pick up the pace dramatically, I think that this campaign should call it quits.

Attalas |

I took a quiet low-cha character on the off chance others would do stacks of talking, sadly its pretty quiet so Atty has no one to play off...!
I was sort of hoping we'd get this up again as people seemed pretty keen, but sadly its maintained the slow pace :(

Jezbazeel Ruckskal |

I try to talk as much as I can, but really do not like feeling like I am solo. I know Attalas and Mobo and how they are playing. It is the rest of you, even if there is no direct action to take, post a comment, say "Hey, I'm here.", post a mindless song or a favorite YouTube video, make fun of Attalas' size or my hair or Mobo's size or what Mobo eats. Just don't be quiet, when you can hear crickets in a campaign, assuredly the grim reaper is not far behind.

Kostinantio Vishki |

After being threatened by Ragnvald, betrayed by the one character that was a friendly for him and now with a group that constantly swells with creatures he considers/d monsters and enemies that seem to jump on the chance to join a maniacal little goblin for (to Kosti) now apparent reason thus more or less eliminating the one thing Kosti could contribute to - being a face among less monstrous folk (his spells being no match to the encounters) - Kosti is quiet - and I chimed into every discussion about this game to assure you that I am still here. If that isn't enough I am not sure random postings will change that.

We've moved two rounds in two weeks. I love this game and this party, but some communication would be appreciated. If you're going to be absent for more than a day, let somebody know. It's no big deal to post OOC here or even in the discussion thread. I'll sink with this ship, but hopefully it can start to float again.
"We need move in closer. Surround yeti. Goblins stick to yeti fur like tasty flies on sticky honey. Then they can't swing clubs! Fill them with arrows! The sooner they fall the sooner we eat!"

Ragnvald Hrolfson |

I'm stil around. Thigns ahve started to calm down to a point where I can psot more regularly again. Much of the stress has been a simultaneous job search and discussions of moving. But, no move is happening so the stress about a job hunt has lessened enough not to take up too much time.

DM Zyren / Heart of Journeys |

Something like that, yeah :)
Finally, the last growl dies in bloody gurgle and for a short moment only heavy breathing and the cracking of ice are audible...but soon the moans of the wounded and dying dominate the scene again.
The yetis are defeated, but your force's number has dwindled too. Only 5 human warriors and about ten goblins are still able to fight on...
Level up everyone.

Jezbazeel Ruckskal |

Jez looks to her companions.
I think that we need to work on our combat plans. Getting flanked really hurt.
HP: 1d6 ⇒ 6 <-- 1st level Crossblooded Draconic(gold)/Orc Bloodlines most likely. Possible draconic/demonic. Will have to decide.

4th level ability score increase DEX for 21
HP 1d10 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
Total HP 27
BAB +1, Fort +1, Ref +1
Skills Acro +1, Craft Alchemy +1, Intim +1, Perc +1, Surv +1,
Feat Goblin Gunslinger
"Still have this many gobbies," Mobo holds up both his hands, "So we win!"

Jezbazeel Ruckskal |

All leveled - took Shield as a spell, perhaps I can get a decent AC until I find mithril shirt or a mithril breastplate.
Level 1 Sorcerer - Crossblooded(draconic/orc) -- eventually I should be able to do some decent damage with spells. Really, I will remain as the rather strange small front line fighter.
Ability Increase - Charisma

Jezbazeel Ruckskal |

Jez looks over at the tall white King Yeti.
Yes, we should find the Jarl soon and make sure that he does not find a new bodyguard.
Jez then looks at all the fallen fallen bodies about her.
Well, lets see if there is anything that can be salvaged from all this blood. No reason to leave valuables lying around.
Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14
