Stáli Dammerhall |

Stali springs to the attack, making a quick charge at the infected human. "I wish it were not so, but the mind stealer has taken this one. To save the rest of you, we must slay him."

DM - Voice of the Voiceless |

The combination of Stali and Padrym's brutal strikes cut down the human with swift and explicit precision. The body drops to the ground, but spills a surprisingly small amount of blood... as though the body had already begun to die. The head slams into the ground and splits like a ripe grape, spilling a disgusting and fleshy mucous covered creature into the dirt. It appears to be a brain equipped with legs, and is currently furtively twitching and attempting to regain motive control.
The other humans rock backwards with shock and begin to scream... Agna does not think they will pose any threat.
Back to you guys - full round actions all.

Hilde Forgedottir |

Hilde burns her daily use of Lore Master to get a 29 Knowledge check result for anything except Arcana (which would be a 34) before beginning to declaim on possible tactics to use against it (if the check is successful). Everyone may take +2 insight bonus to hit, to AC, and to saves vs. any abilities it might bring to bear.

"Don't have it from the Smith today Hilde, but there is something else I may be able to do!" Already 5 feet away from the intellect devourer because of his weapon's reach, Stali calls to Torag, "Smith! We have need of an archon to help us overcome this dire foe!" Gripping his hammer fiercely to attack if the aberration tries to maneuver he only has to wait a moment for the orb of light to appear. He calls, "That foul creature! Attack it now!"
Stali casts summon monster III using Sacred Summons making it a Standard action since the lantern archon is lawful good. Light rays ignore DR (and I think benefit from Hilde's advice). Summoning it 20 feet above the intellect devourer so it can get clear shots from above.
Ranged Touch 1: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15
Damage 1: 1d6 ⇒ 3
Ranged Touch 2: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19
Damage 2: 1d6 ⇒ 4
Stali's AC is 22 due to Hilde's advice and the Deep Warrior trait
