Hey guys. Just wanted to check in about how I've been playing Rocco the past few days. I know he's been coming off as really confrontational, but it's not just me trying to be a jerk. I'm kinda playing it that Rocco is actually kind of hurt by Meliandri and Veccio's sudden departure. He's still pretty new to this team and has had three people leave since he joined. So he's pretty mad and not exactly expressing that in the best way. He'll warm up to you new folks in short order, though, so no worries that I'm gonna try to turn this into PVP. Just wanted to give you all a heads up about it.

Personally I don't think Rocco comes off in an offensive way. And I love the way he and Lirotha usually interact! That said if someone is offended or irked by something in play just say it so we can deal with it together.

As for what to do after the alleyway meeting. The group has been together longer and The Hound wants to assist so he'd let them make the call on the next choice of action.

Can any of us USE a Heavy Mace or Scale Mail?

YES...everybody but Valrani can use simple weapons (its a one-handed weapon too) it seems. I personally don't want it however. I can use arcane strike with my Starknife so I don't need a magical or blunt weapon like that.

Medium armor on the other hand...the druid can't wear metal armor and the only other class that can use medium armor is the Vigilante. Talon? Interested in upgrading?

Align Weapon...can only be cast by Clerics/Oracles and Inquisitors, so we will have to use the wand with Use Magic Device checks if we need it. I have the skill at +5. Anybody got a better UMD?

UMD +6 here. Not much better. Ask the bard. They tend to have the charisma skills on lock. :D

As for the other loot, I probably can't use the mace since it's medium. Glad the GM will allow me to resize the chain shirt when we get out of here, though. I'm thinking a 14 AC is probably not sustainable.

Next steps: agreed with Lirotha, though I would suggest the order of traps > door > enemies. Just a thought, though.

Unfortunately my archetype means I can't use medium armour so alas, not quite the armour for me.

I think if we can loot a room first, maybe we'll find s couple things that can help in the next big fight?

Anybody have any better suggestions for what I should be doing with Kurglunn? I really don't think I'm doing much good with him right now, aside from giving Lirotha a flanking bonus, I guess.

This is one of the few situations he's just at a disadvantage. The Force Wall prevents him attacking the woman directly, and the Zombie's have Damage Reductin.

He could be trying to flank, grapple, or trip the zombies then if he can't hurt them directly?

Hehe thanks! I had to retype a few posts to not just shoot the hostage and didn't have utility shot to break the guys lock. But I figured that they had something to do with the priestesses ritual.
I'm just glad I survived. My rolls were terrible in that encounter.

You mentioned in the gameplay thread that we don't have to appraise mundane items, but wasn't sure if that included masterwork versions or versions made of valuable materials, so I've included some of them below. Rebellion roles:
Demagogue: The officer adds his or her Constitution or Charisma modifier to the rebellion’s Loyalty check.
Partisan: The officer adds his or her Strength or Wisdom modifier to the rebellion’s Security check.
Recruiter: The number of supporters recruited during the Upkeep phase on a successful Organization check is increased by the officer’s character level. This bonus stacks with that provided by other recruiters.
Sentinel: The officer grants a +1 bonus to the rebellion’s two secondary Organization checks, and can aid during all Organization checks attempted to resolve one event during the Event phase. The Sentinel can add her Constitution or Charisma modifier to a Loyalty check, her Strength or Wisdom Modifier to a Security check, or her Dexterity or Intelligence modifier to a Secrecy check made during this event’s resolution.
Spymaster: The officer adds his or her Dexterity or Intelligence modifier to the rebellion’s Secrecy check.
Strategist: The officer grants the Silver Ravens a bonus rebellion action during the Activity phase. Any Organization check made to resolve the effects of this bonus action gain a +2 bonus on the check.
