Sure, that's fine.

Rise of the Runelords Pt2|RotRL Pt 3| Giantslayer|Emerald Spire| CORE Emerald Spire

Rowane's weapon of force barely hits its target. The wight emerges from its alcove and rushes Cora and Nezos, meeting an arrow and a flaming sword on the way. The cumulative damage is too much for whatever power animated it, and it falls at the half-elf's feet with a splash.

Round 2:

The party can act.

"There may be more of them!"

Machi-e instructs the water elemental to attack anything that comes out of the sarcophagi with some elaborate hand gestures.

He prepares Open/Close should another sarcophagus open, and enters the room cautiously.

Machi-e, you know that the open/close cantrip has a weight limit that the sarcophagi likely exceed.

"...move? Hm." Machi-e instructs the water elemental to follow Nezos. The arcanist himself stays in place, as magic users are wont to do.

In the absence of an obvious enemy, it's difficult to direct the elemental without being able to speak to it.

Cora moves to the central sarcophagus and gestures at Nezos. "Watch my back." She proceeds to check it for traps.

Cora nods at Nezos. "We haven't seen any traps down here but there's no point in being sloppy now. Give me a second." She gestures at the one to the south. "This one first."

She'll check for traps each sarcophagus, starting with the one at the bottom of the map and moving clockwise. Unless she's interrupted, of course.

Cora is investigating the southernmost sarcophagus (and finding nothing) when everyone hears shifting stone from one of the other alcoves.

Nezos' flaming blade flies true, hitting the wight. It shrieks in rage, and the whispers in the room seem to grow louder to match it.

Cora and Rowane to go, plus the clarification from Machi-e re range. Also, it's an RTA when used as an attack.

Cora steps out of the southern space and fires at the oncoming wight.

Looks like she should be able to 5' step and get a bead on the monster. Move action to use Studied Target, then Deadly Aim.

It's difficult terrain due to water level, so no 5' step.

Right, forgot about the water. Can she see the wight without a 5' step? If so, she'll still use Studied Target and Deadly Aim. If not, she'll just Deadly Aim and use ST next turn.

Rise of the Runelords Pt2|RotRL Pt 3| Giantslayer|Emerald Spire| CORE Emerald Spire

Once again, why don't you just delay until the wight comes out? That's what Rowane and Machi-e are doing.

The wight emerges from its alcove and meets a crossbow bolt. Cora's arrow glances off of the central sarcophagus, which made the target somewhat more difficult to hit. (Hard cover.) The undead is still a little too far away from Machi-e's celestial power to reach it. It closes with Nezos and claws at the half-elf, its talons making a horrible screeching noise along his armor.

Cora misses again due to cover, but Nezos makes short work of the wight. Seared by the fire from his blade and cut deeply, it falls. The whispering once again grows louder, though, and the party's relief is short-lived as the unmistakable sound of a sliding sarcophagus lid can be heard from the next alcove around the circle.

Rowane and Machi-e can take an action after the second wight falls and before the third appears.
