Wow, what a round to wake up to. I'm going with the action Alex proposed for Vaysh. Working on the description post right now. As for completing the full-round, Fenna was completely correct in the other thread. Here is the text from the PF book, page 186:
The “start full-round action” standard action lets you start undertaking a full-round action, which you can complete in the following round by using another standard action.
You can’t use this action to start or complete a full attack, charge, run, or withdraw.
The amount of 20s reminds me of a couple weeks ago when I was DMing for my group. A troll was ripping them out, and disemboweled a character (we have been playing with the Paizo Crit Deck for a couple weeks).

Victory!
Sir Edric, I'm sorry I prevented you from keeping your promise to Jerek, but it felt so damn good writing up his grizzly end that I actually felt my alignment shift a little bit towards evil.
In return, you and Malthir may do with Happs as you please.
Now, I wonder if Jerek has one of those shiny trinkets too. I need something to decorate my scabbard.

We may do with him as we please? Sir, that is not how it works. :)
Although I know Happs to be a truly evil soul, and he will not live to see another morning, we need to figure out what to do with the last of them. It seems that Happs or the other man could be useful in finding out what the bandits are doing in this area. We charm them after you demorialize them again or maybe intimidate them into submitting to the spell so that they are much more compliant.
We will see what their fate holds for them after that, though I wouldn't bet on Happs chances.
We will see if this ends up being a conflict between Vaysh and Malthir...

We'll say when Aroden's Eye becomes visible; so roughly 8PM each evening sounds good. Sometimes it will benefit you, and other times it will be a hindrance, same as preparing spells in the morning.
Sounds fair. Will it take a full hour, or will it be reduced to 15 minutes in the same way a sorcerer's preparation is reduced?
Of course, this might mean that any spells cast between noon and 8pm don't get refreshed as per the 'recent casting limit'. Clerics face this problem too, hmm...

I'd like to keep it simple; to me your a divine sorceror :P
Your spells will always fully refresh at 8PM or so game time. This has its disadvantages of course; as attacks on your camp in the night will mean you use resources that you may need the following day :P
Vaysh
Ya, prepping at 8 at night has some disadvantages to it. The problems with midnight attacks aren't really an issue, since everyone suffers from that. The real problem occurs in what Fenna was mentioning, if she casts anything after noon she won't have that spell until 8 pm the next night.
I don't know if you would find it good for her to pray for her spells in the last hour of the star's sway, providing the faithful oracle with power to last through the oncoming day.
How do you run sleeping people and saves on spells BTW? The question comes up in many games that I have seen since you don't know who is casting what, and so you don't know if you should resist. Some folks have set it up that you are a willing target for all spells, others look to what the situation you lost consciousness in was. Not sure if you have any ideas on it or not.
If unconscious is willing, would cast Charm while he is sleeping.

Depends on the spell. For charm person, i'd still give him a save; your trying to enchant his mind.
For a fireball, I err on the side of 'how do you make a reflex save if you cant dodge' side of the fence.
Receiving spells at midnight is also fine by me as an alternative to 8PM, but seriously i'd rather you just get your full complement at a certain each day and not worry about the 'recent casting' rule.
Vaysh
not worry about the 'recent casting' rule.
That seems darn nice of you. I kinda hate that rule, but understand it was placed to avoid abusive buffing then filling your spells back up (something that I saw in 2E a bunch). The problem with the rule is that it makes it pretty bad to prep your spells at any time other than dawn, but for so many characters you should look to pray at other times.
Hmm...maybe I should look at doing a different rule in the future for my home games, something like if you drop a buff spell and prep spells before 8 hours have expired, that buff spell is counted as 8 hours down at the end. Oh well, thoughts for later on.
If any of you folks have insight that you would like to share, I have a thread up in the advice section of the boards. http://paizo.com/paizo/messageboards/paizoPublishing/pathfinder/pathfinderR PG/advice/spookyMansion&page=1#0
The save thing is fine with me, the reason I have seen some folks make a big deal about it is 'how do they tell a CLW from something else'. I personally have no care, and what you said makes a good deal of sense. Then I'll let Casimir be the bad cop and I will be the good cop, well, I'm trying to act tougher than I am right now.

If I feel its being abused i'll think of something else. But there arent many hour/level spells left anyway. A simple house rule could just be that any active spells are dismissed in the process of replenishing the spell slots in that case.

Treasure from Oleg has been recorded. I haven't touched recording anything off the bandits. Figure we can group that stuff up and sell it right to him if we don't have a use for it. Casimir has been going around and checking them out.
I listed all of it as 'Stored' right now. There are some PC names that I can choose from as to who has it. I added all of us, but didn't delete the other names. I didn't know if it was linked to another site that those mattered for, or if it was just leftover names from something else (kinda figured the second, but didn't want to jump the gun and mess something up).
Casimir
Still very busy at work. Will post longer as soon as I have some free time.
Among other things, it's probably a good idea to have an IC discussion about loot and selling it. After all, we don't want to turn into bandits ourselves.

OK another prod about the company name.
So far here is the list:
Wardens of Narl
Wardens of Kameland
Defenders of the GreenBelt
Protectors of the GreenBelt
The Company of the Three Blades
The Oath Sworn Company
GreenBelt 5 (who is going to be Michael though? I guess that honor would have to fall to Casimir since he is going to have a few levels of bard. Taybe I can be Tito?)
Please bring forth your alternate recommendation or vote for one or more of the above. Time to make a decision folks! :)

Urgh sorry... Still at the sodding family's, i'm so fed up here. Can't wait to get back into my own house.
Vaysh I had already deducted the bow and arrows Casimir took from Jerek before posting the loot up.

What part of England do you live in? Just curious, I was born in Bolton and most of my family is in that area or just north of there.

Man, what a day. Usually, I have plenty of time at work to get a few posts off, but not today.
Another couple of suggestions for names:
The Greenbelt Wardens
Company of the Shining Shield (had a long RP explanation for this one that I didn't have time to post)
The Blood Cougar Champions/Company
The Rostland Regulators
Defenders of the Stolen Lands
The Stalwart Alliance
The Steadfast Shields

I live in Southampton, but my family is based in the south-west; an area called Dorset. The water sports-side of the 2012 Olympics will be hosted in Weymouth where my mother lives.
Some excellent names here, but i'm not the one who will pick which one you take :)
Vaysh
I resisted the urge to randomly roll some suggestions on the Paizo chart that was previewed for the Gamemastery Guide. Here seems to be the compilation of suggestions.
We can do voting here, or send the stuff to Alex (or another member) for votes. I don't mind doing it in the open, since our characters would do the lobbying in the open. I'm willing to do it IC, but I think that it might take a bit (I don't personally mind).
3 votes each, take the most popular 3 names and vote again at that point? Just a thought on how to figure it out.
Wardens of Kameland
Wardens of Narl
Righteous Inheritors
Redeemers of the Abducted
The Company of the Three Blades
The Oath Sworn Company
Swords of the Greenbelt

The Blood Cougar Champions

And Casimir beat me to the conversation about loot!
Going back to something some folks were saying about the merits of PbP a few days ago, I like it a lot (if you get a group that puts stuff up). While I can't say that I like it better than home game, it is certainly a good way to get a cool story going on. I think if I didn't have a regular game and only had PbP, I would still thirst for home game, but with the combo of playing a PbP and running my home game, I feel decently satisfied at the moment.
I love the character development that we have going on in the group. I follow what Malthir said about getting attached to the characters. I look at Vaysh and think that I would love to play her at the table, but I know that a lot of the stuff I'm trying to make sure comes across here wouldn't work as well. One thing I really love about PbP is that romantic storylines work better I think.
As for Vaysh, I'm chomping at the bit for more and more to go up so that we can keep playing. The storyline is cool (I really dig Kingmaker and hope to run it after my current game for my group) because I love the kingdom aspect, but ATM, I'm far more concerned with how things go for Vaysh as a person.

(gah, stupid post monster is hungry)
To recap:
- Casimir passes on the comp. bow - not strong enough.
- He also does not claim Happs silver stag, since he did not fight him.
- He will snag an Alchemist's fire, though.
- Malthir and Sir Edric may want to consider taking a light armor each to sleep in - beats fighting in a loincloth.
Posted about loot IC.
Vaysh
Oh drat and bother. I guess I hit Edit instead of hitting reply by accident. I didn't even notice that. I ate my own post. =/
Loot
Masterwork composite longbow (Str +2) Edric taking
Alchemist’s fire (2) Casimir taking 1
Studded leather armor Malthir taking
Dagger
Longsword
silver Stag Lord amulet (DC15 Appraise check to determine value)
Four longbows Casimir took 1, Malthir took 1, 3 left
Five short swords
Five sets of leather armour Edric taking 1 (That is assumption)
12 days worth of trail rations No need to sell these, we use them
47 arrows among them All being taken.
104 gold pieces - Noted on the party log page already
Malthir Al' Dagon
Knowing this group, I am not sure how much use we will get out of the Long Bow, but we need to have it around just in case. Malthir knows how to use it, but really doesn't care for it. I am fine with taking either, but he does have a couple of Javelins for ranged combat just in case. Since I have the Smite, someone else should hold onto the Shield of faith, either Casimir or Edric. They both seem to like to be near death so it would be a toss up. Probably good to have one of the fighters to hold onto the CLW potion in case one of our current healers goes down so we can help them. Casimir? You have 30' movement, probably the best choice.
I will take a suit of leather as Casimir mentioned, good idea for light armor and take a longbow w/10 arrows JIC. Edric, why don't you take the +2 STR longbow? We can trade the rest in for store credit.
EDIT: I will take the studded leather if no one else wants it.
How much will that leave each of us?
Vaysh
Loot we are selling Proposed Listing
Dagger (2 gp)
Longsword (15 gp)
silver Stag Lord amulet (DC15 Appraise check to determine value) (? gp)
Three longbows (225 gp)
Five short swords (50 gp)
Four sets of leather armour (40 gp)
If we sell all of that at half rate we get 156 gold. This is just the list of proposed stuff. If you didn't get marked as taking something above and are interested in it, mention it and we can mark it off.

With the exploration side of the AP about to kick off, a quick discussion about mapping is in order. In all honesty i'd prefer to delegate map duties to someone else, but I can do it if necessary. I nominate Malthir ;)
I figured we'll just use the hex map from the Kingmaker Player's Guide, and keep a copy regularily updated in the library section of the google site?
32 House-Jeggare-Noble avatarAfter a quiet day, I must say I'm very pleased with how the RP is picking up now.
Same. I am still really struggling due to bloody family... Hoping to be back at my place by Thursday

I can do mapping if you like. Now I might have an alternate suggestion. I do have the adventure paths, and although I have purused them a little, I have been staying away from the details (I was thinking that my tabletop game was doing this next but they decided to do Second Darkness at the last minute and I am a player so I don't want to spoil it all for me). If you are okay with it, I can snapshot the areas of the Greenbelt that we explore as we explore them and build up the map as we flesh it out. Can I consider the area from Restov to the fort over the road as explored territory so that we have a good starting point? Depending upon what you change up I can always compensate for it, you will see.
Let me know.

Go for it. The very top line of Hexes is still Brevoy territory and thus fully explored. The line Oleg's is on all needs to be explored, from the hex to the right of Oleg's, to 4 hexes west of Oleg's. This should give you six hexes- the next hex below these 6 is the one to the bottom right attached to it, and then bottom left etc.; so each of the 6 'lines' of hexes zigzag.
If that makes any sense...

Mmm...delicious map. Looking forward to seeing it. I have the book on my shelf and have looked at it (read the first mod the month it came out, was going to run it, but someone didn't think their character fit) but seeing "our" map will be cooler!
Many of you have the AP, and for that reason i've moved the location of a lot of stuff, and added some new things. I'm not saying any of u r metagaming, but just in case i'm mixing things up ;)
Gaargh internet at my dad's is driving me mental, damn stepmother and her iPhone nomming all the bandwidth!!!
*Needs to go back to Southampton*
Fenna + Edric; everything ok with you guys? If your busy thats fair enough and I hope you can post soon, just wanted to make sure something isn't up :)
I have a good idea of when Jace and Barator can and can't post, what time zones are you other guys in? What times would you prefer me to take your actions for you in combat?

Sounds good, I think I get what you are telling me with the map, I will post something by end of day tomorrow and you can tell me if I hit it spot on. I may # the hexes as well so if something happens in one you can tell us something occurs in H1 for example. I have some other cool thoughts for the map and will test some stuff out further into this chapter!

The Almanac of the Greenbelt has been updated on the website.
If we decide on Guardians of the Greenbelt as an official name, I'll record that as well, but I'd thought I'd give everyone a chance to chime in.
That name has my vote, btw.

I've been on a training course last week and for the rest of this week, so I've not had much chance to post during the day. I should be able to get some more time from net week onwards though.
Turns out we're not that far from each other, I'm in Yeovil, along the border of Somerset and Dorset. Are you planning to go to Paizocon UK?
Guardians of the Greenbelt sounds good to me, at least while we're restricting our activities to this region.
