Feel free to introduce your characters now -- we'll jump into action tomorrow!

Also if you haven't already please provide your sign-up info in the discussion tab. Thanks.

Last week, under some rather unusual circumstances, the Pathfinder's annual gathering the Torchbearing came to an early stop due to some chaotic activity down at the infamous Blakros Museum. Of course, it was put upon the Pathfinder Society to once again handle the threat. Artefacts were destroyed, and a few unfortunate casualties were before the mayhem stopped.

Now, you've gathered as a group to travel northwards, for a couple of days now, towards the Twinhorn camp at the base of the Tusk Mountains, beyond the orcish camps at Lastwall led by a woman named Medda and her phantom partner.

Silgil, though dressed more like a mage than a warrior, does carry a mean looking battle axe, a tribute to his days in the dwarven militia. He sports red unruly hair, almost gnome-like, but covering most of his face as well as head. He walks with the confidence natural to dwarves and a bit of a swagger.

"Hail and well met. My name is Silgil! Who have I the honor of being partnered with"

Ibaz is a muscular stout half-orc with a big scar on his face and an old ugly mark making him the property of an Okeno slaver.
He wears simple clothing, robe, sandals, and except for his headband with the symbol of Abadar and a big great axe on his back, nothing of valor.
At his side, several wands and a big book.

A dwarf with a shaved head and dark eyes enters the room. His pitch black beard is tied tight. The inky color is split by a large smile, "Hail! Well met and good to see some of you again!"

The massive double-bitted head of his greataxe rings as it hits his masterfully crafted plate armor.

"Name is Brak Thunderstrikers. Now that there's four of us running around this outfit, I'd like to point out that I'm the first." He emphasizes "first" by slamming a gauntleted fist against his chest.

Polanco looks into the growler of Mwangi Pale Ale he carries at his side. He has the sinking suspicion he has just done this exact thing.

He shakes his head. Sometimes that happens. The stocky dwarf is never too far from his thick collection of cigars, enough ale in growlers to feed everyone and a furry cold weather hat.

Name is Polanco Goodhammer. I am here to do Valsin's dirty dirty business of beating down some bad dudes. He has a wicked looking wooden weapon equipped with fangs. I am more of a MWANGI EXPANSE expert so its pretty weird to be in wickedly cold Lastwal...Are you....are you trying to play the Dwarven Door Game Brak?

***OVERSEER ANNOUNCEMENT***

Months ago, agents of the Blakros Museum in Absalom stole a holy dagger—a relic of the Kellid Twinhorn following and the Shining Crusade from centuries ago. What seemed a simple dagger was key to keeping a powerful villain at bay, and the Pathfinder Society has allied with the Twinhorn following and its bold spiritual leader Medda in order to return the relic, use it to perform a ritual before midnight on the winter solstice, and stem an undead invasion. “We are only hours away from the stone circle and our encampment,” Medda announces. “If we are going to make it there by midnight, we need to press on. Once there, we will use Ivvora’s hilt to perform our time-honored ritual and keep evil from our lands.” Medda produces the small hilt of a broken weapon with only a fragment of its black metal blade remaining. “Let us move. There are dangers in these ancient woods: orc raiders, bears that topple trees, and worse. Stay in groups and don’t get lost.”

As the Kellids and Pathfinders reach the top of the hill next to the Twinhorn encampment, they notice splashes of blood and the occasional corpse dotting the landscape. Medda raises her voice, calling, “My brethren, our families are under attack! Secure the camp and drive back any who oppose you. Pathfinder allies, join us in defense of our home!” The landscape opens into a burned hillside where blackened trees stand like lifeless sentinels. A crude blockade shields the entrance to a natural cavern.

Table GMs, area H is now open. Once you have completed area H, you may proceed to areas I or J. The Deepening Shadows condition on page 14 is in effect.

Many days have passed since you left Absalom, you survived orc country and have arrived at the home of the Kellids.
The undead huddle near the blockade. One is a desiccated corpse wielding a greatsword, its eyes blazing with eerie red light. The other 3 have thick muscle and jutting bone from multiple corpses fused together to form a winged, humanlike predator. The charred trees here don’t provide cover nor do they impede movement. They turn their attention to you as soon as you approach. But it's Silgil and Radagst that get the jump on them.

Leaving the safety of the barricade once the battle is won, the Twinhorn Kellid's emerge thankful for the assistance.

You arrived just in time! I'm not sure how long we could have held them off! You should make haste and go to our main encampment to talk with the tribal leaders. But beware as undead are there too. You see all manner of horrors have been pouring from a portal at the stone circle since nightfall, nothing seems to be able to hold back the tide of undead, we must find a way to close the portal or we'll all be doomed! An impassioned warrior implores.

You can now seek aid from the tribal elders, fight more undead pouring into the kellid camp, or head straight to the rift and battle the undead there. As soon as we have two in agreement we'll move on to the next scene.

Maps and Handout

You could have taken a couple more rounds to prep/buff if you want before reaching the area, so feel free go ahead and post. Previous buffs are still up.
Bushes and tree are difficult terrain.

Rolls:

Initiative
Brak: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
Ibaz: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21
Polanco: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17
Radagast: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20
Silgil: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24
Will: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12
Skeletons: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22
Ghostly: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21

You rush straight to the clearing by the riverbank, that features a circle of standing stones with a large stone altar at its center. A shadowy tear floats above the altar, so dark that what little light shines from the stars seems to become trapped inside. Eight large tendrils of inky darkness coil around the menhirs as if keeping the stones in a stranglehold. Other tendrils lick out from the shadowy rift as if tasting the air. A ghostly crusader floats just above the ground near the tear. Its translucent form would be harder to see if not for the twin motes of hellish red light staring out from behind its helmet. It's surrounded by four skeletal figures. The figures with longswords drawn ready for your arrival. The skeletons eye your approach, but do not advance, but instead hide among the stones. The entire area has heavy feeling, as if some great evil is near.

You can guess Silgils action. Luckily for you he goes first and all of you benefit from haste (except Silgil himself and Fluffy - sorry Fluffy, Silgil is only level 5)

Once again Silgil casts haste and announces, "Go get 'em, boys." He briefly surges out in front of the others after casting the spell.
