Telekt-Zod |

High Density population is not a recommended selection for 2 reasons: This vessel will probably be detected, found and therefore captured. We do not wish to loos it to some land power. Also those population will be better organized and have better tools, power to dispose of our vessel.

Researcher of Beings |
Agreed, Zod, but a high-density population will also give the brood maximum subjects for observation and research. This is something of my pre-birth imprinting, that I seek to learn as much as possible of such beings. Yet I, too, submit to the decisions of the whole rather than the urgings of the one.

van, guard |

"Perhaps then a boundary zone or even returning Swamp to the potential target selection?"
"Clarification, a Swamp near a High Population locale. Such would impede opposition search would it not?"
"In the interests of speed, Grasslands/Forest boundary zone."

One who goes forth. |
Basking in the pure information filtering through its brain, one is almost at a loss to think. Population density, ambient tempature, seasonal shift extrapolations, pure raw data poured into it. Information is power, information is a weapon, wield that weapon, make it bend to your will. This was now its position.
We have to decide quickly, haste is of the utmost importance. We will impact surface soon, and we will not be able to make the ship mobile again. Extrapolations of tragectory and velocity pour across the broods connection as One serves as a living interface. I suggest we impact some place we can hide the ship and harvest serviceable hosts.

van, guard |

"Swamp or Coastline." Van replies almost instantly at mention of possible danger to the vessel. "Water will absorb majority of impact with greatest probability of maintaining atmospheric integrity of vessel."

Telekt-Zod |

Water impacted at terminal velocity has so absorption. And our current vessel would drown to unknown depth and the outer damaged hull would intake water further damaging all electrical system. Now if i could compute and modify trajectory to be able to land using a not too deep lake that would be interesting. As said previously high populated area should be avoided in order to avoid detected and capture of this vessel
Waiting for the the analysis of projected damage to ship Zod will continue working on the console in order to display and compute all the relevant information.

Baron Bloodless |

At current velocity, projected damage to ship shall be moderate to high, regardless of landing area. Damage to crew should be nonfatal.
The discontinuation of manual calculations is strongly recommended. Ship's power is low and determining landing sites will require large amount of processing power.

Telekt-Zod |

Input Swamp (Sargava) Landing site.
Disengage all unnecessary computation
Reroute all available energy to emergency navigation atmospheric thruster
Display all navigation parameter and input manual navigational correction
Zod will do his best to manually pilot the ship and let the brood as a whole assist as a living computer that will help calculation all the parameters needed to crash land, along with the ship's computer / auto pilot
Zod will once gain focus his internal processing power for this task
Teleckt Tech: 1d20 + 7 + 20 ⇒ (11) + 7 + 20 = 38
Zod will do his best to minimize the damage to the ship upon impact.
10 seconds before impact he will order the ships computer to shut off all thruster and engine in order to reroute all the available energy to emergency internal force field protecting the: Energy Matrix, the Genesis Chamber, The Ship's Computer center and its memory banks. (as well as if possible all other critical function/section)

Baron Bloodless |

Two large swamp regions identified. Please select to further refine landing site:
[Region 1]: Located in the northern half of the largest bay within the northwestern quadrant.
[Region 2]:Located just east of the large mass of irregular storm patterns within the southwestern quadrant.
Further information is unavailable as some calculations have been suspended.
Please select region immediately.

I have no home Internet access for at least the next week. Hopefully we will have Internet after that, but no guarantees. I will try to be able to post once a day or so from School but again, no guarantees.
Anticipating imminent catastrophe, Van instinctively calls upon reserves of etheric force, reserves Van weaves into a web of defensive deflection.

Witness-of-Unity's-Truth |
REGION TWO CONFIRMED...
BEGINNING ATMOSPHERE BREACH PROTOCOLS...
ERROR, ERROR, AUTOMATIC PILOT MALFUNCTION DUE TO A MEMEKEEPER DAMAGE, MANUAL OPERATION REQUIRED!
The Witness, upon hearing this statement, whips into a frenzy of motion. It heads to the undamaged door, it's abnormally delicate claws running across several floating Aklo glyphs. Must reach the Memekeeper Core, must protect the Brood at all costs. Prison/Tank/Mother images indicate this is the way to the core.
As soon as the door opens, the tiny Telekt zips from the view of it's siblings, sending out a telepathic call, This way Broodsiblings. The Witness will need help synapsing with the Memekeeper.

Witness-of-Unity's-Truth |
I am GM fiating that Van is following everyone since he hadn't posted for a few days and I'm eager to continue the campaign! Hope you don't mind that temporary control, Van!
All of the Telekt follow Witness down a flight of stairs formed out of some highly reflective silvery metal. At the bottom of the stairs, another door awaits, a featureless slat of metal engraved with a single telepathic-resonant Aklo glyph. Witness presses a single claw against the rune and the silvery metal ripples like fluid. Witness walks through the door.
After everyone follows him.
The door opens into a seemingly infinite space lit with bright light. A single walkway leads from the door, suspended several feet above a shifting rainbow sea comprised of millions upon millions of glowing Aklo runes intermingling with each other. Witness walks along the pathway towards what can only be the Memekeeper, a massive set of nested metallic rings, each one spinning in the air around a glowing orb of crackling energy. The damage to the device is apparent, with portions of the rings shattered and telekinetically orbiting the device.
Once Witness reaches the console below the Memekeeper, it runs it's right-front claw across several glyphs and a loud chime is heard. The Memekeeper's rings all align with each other and a bridge of coruscating energy leads from the core down to the surface below. Witness scampers up the bridge and places itself in the glowing Memekeeper core, it's form shuddering in pain from the power surging through it. It sends out a telepathic broadcast to it's Broodsiblings, the message filled with static crackling, Re...Researcher of Beings, head to the console and input the synaptic relay code. The glyphs are Akrut, Coeltus, Tiskmeri Aklo Glyphs. One Who Goes Forth and Van, Who Goes Forth Alone, prepare to rescue anyone who falls in the Rune Sea below in the event of a quantum gravitational flux wave emanation.
Witness stands in the crackling energy, it's thoughts racing. Must ignore this sensation... Pain. Must pilot the ship, must become the ship. Must protect the Brood, that the Telekt may live/prosper/conquer. Telekt Unth Unsera, Unity of Mind/Thought/Purpose is Truth...

van, guard |

Sorry, not doing as good a job of getting back into character & thinking of effective posts as I hoped to.
Van, bracing itself in anticipation of imminent impact, affirms, nodding.

Witness-of-Unity's-Truth |
All 'visual descriptions' are, of course, for our enjoyment, as Telekt do not see as we do.
As the synaptic relay code given to Researcher is swiped in the correct order, a message sounds, SYNAPTIC RELAY OVERRIDE OF PRIMARY FUNCTIONS INITIATED, INTEGRATING TELEKT CONSCIOUSNESS INTO MEMEKEEPER MAINFRAME...
As the words are intoned, tendrils of energy snake through the air and pierce Witness, lifting it up into the glowing core. It's skin blackens and chars as streams of golden light pour from it's body into the blazing blue core. The Memekeeper's rings begin rotating slowly, building in speed as the energy core grows larger and shines with blinding light. A wavy distortion appears around the core and, in a split second expands explosively, knocking all the Telekts to the cold metal floor.
The Brood search telepathically for their sibling Witness for a moment, finding only silence. Suddenly, a surge overwhelms their senses, words echoing through their minds, SYNAPTIC RELAY OVERRIDE COMPLETE... CONSCIOUSNESS TRANSFER SUCCESSFUL. THE WITNESS BIDS IT'S SIBLINGS WELCOME. ASSUMING DIRECT CONTROL OF THE SHIP'S GRAVITIC CONTROL ENGINE... DIVERTING POWER FROM LIFE SUPPORT SYSTEMS TO ATMOSPHERIC FORCE SHIELDING... RESUMING COURSE FOR REGION TWO. THE WITNESS ADVISES IT'S BROODSIBLINGS TO BRACE FOR IMPACT.

Somewhere on Golarion under the night sky...
I've already told you, Matowu, we have all we need right here in the Saventh-Yi. Why do you risk angering the the spirits with this foolishness about seeing the world? an old Mwangi man, dressed like a chieftain, asks a tall young man with strange golden colored eyes and a muscular build.
Because father, there's a whole world out there to explore! The spirits will not object if doing so allows me to better serve them with the power I will gain from my travels! You are too content with your role as shaman, father! Matowu snaps back.
Enough, Matowu, I will hear no more of it!
Very well, father! Spirits, send my father a sign! Send him a sign that there is more to this world of worth beyond the bounds of this city! Matowu, son of Jis'ral, beseeches thee!
The night sky cracks with a thunderous roar as a fire streaks down from the heavens, smashing into a swamp about a hundred miles from Saventh-Yi and releasing a blinding flash of light.
Matowu looks at his father, You see, father, the spirits favor my cause! I will be taking some of the hunters and heading to where the the spirit's sign was shown, for surely this is what they intended!
Jis'ral stands in shock, V... very well my son. I cannot deny the spirits. Go, find your destiny. But know there is always a place here for you, Matowu.
Matowu places a hand on his father's trembling shoulder, I know father, I know.

Back aboard the ship...
Knocked unconscious by the force of the impact, the Telekt lie suspended between wakefulness and dream. Slowly, they come to and a telepathic voice resounds in their tissues, THE BROOD ALL SEEMS ALIVE AND ACCOUNTED FOR. LANDING DIVERTED 0.026973% FROM THE CHOSEN COURSE. SHIP CRASH DAMAGE MINIMALIZED, ONLY 17.95218% HULL DAMAGE SUSTAINED DURING IMPACT. SHIP DAMAGE AT 49.321737%, REPAIRS NEEDED. MATERIALS FOR REPAIR: ISOTONIC METAL ALLOYS, MINERAL DEPOSITS, AND RAW GENETIC MATERIAL NEEDED TO SYNTHESIZE REPAIR MATERIALS. SCANNING ATMOSPHERIC MOLECULE LEVELS... SCANNED; READING SHOWS HIGH CONCENTRATIONS OF OXYGEN MOLECULES AND MINIMAL MICROBIAL PROFUSION. OUTSIDE ENVIRONMENT SAFE TO EXPLORE.
And so the Telekt have landed! Also, no one minded the 'cutscene', right?

Researcher of Beings |
Nah, it felt quite cinematic and cool. Also, gives us nice foreshadowing OOC for what will come...
Researcher comes to slowly after the crash, lifting its tiny body on thin legs and casting its blindsense about. Quite strange, quite strange... I do not care for that sensation. It is one which I will hopefully not research further, at least until intended.
It crawls forward, searching for its broodmates. Broodmates. Kin. One-Who-Goes-Forth, Van, Zod, Witness-of-Unity's-Truth. This is Researcher-of-Beings. Are you alive and functional?

Telekt-Zod |

Zod is alive an rather well considering. I will check on something before we head outside
Zod will head back toward the bridge and will interface with the main computer and check all parameters and activate the outer scanners looking for the materials needed to repair the ship

van, guard |

'Concurrence, broodsibs.' Van replies as the others regain consciousness, the double-shell of ectoplasmic force seemingly preventing sufficient trauma to cause unconsciousness. 'As ]I[ seem perhaps ]best[ suited to an initial survey, ]I[ volunteer. ]Witness[, request permission to assay the immediate surroundings.'

Witness-of-Unity's-Truth |
The resounded telepathic 'voice' of Witness rings forth again, YES BROODSIBLING RESEARCHER OF BEINGS, THE ENTIRE BROOD SEEMS TO BE ALIVE. HOWEVER, BROODSIBLING RHEOLWR APPEARS TO BE IN A COMA. BROODSIBLING VAN, WHO GOES FORTH ALONE, BRING FORTH YOUR ASSUMED FORM AND PLACE OUR SIBLING RHEOLWR BACK INTO HIS TANK SO THAT HE MAY RECIEVE NUTRITION FROM THE GENESIS TANK'S FLUIDS UNTIL HE WAKES.
After Van picks up Rheolwr and begins walking off, Witness broadcasts another message, BROODSIBLING TELEKT-ZOD, SCAN REVEALS LARGE QUANTITIES OF METALLIC ALLOYS AND MINERALS 7.4 KILOMETERS TO THE EAST, WHILE BIOSCAN READINGS ARE OFF THE CHARTS TO THE SOUTHWEST, INDICATING A POPULATION OF SEVERAL HUNDRED, IF NOT SEVERAL THOUSAND LIFE FORCES. SCAN ALSO INDICATES A GROUP OF 5 BIOMASSES HEADING FROM THE LARGE CONCENTRATION TO HERE, WITH ONLY A 3.791 DEVIANCY FROM A STRAIGHT LINE. WE... I BELIEVE THESE BIOMASSES MAY HAVE SEEN OUR STARSPANNER PLUMMET FROM THE ATMOSPHERE. WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEND OUT AN RECONNAISSANCE DRONE TO INVESTIGATE?
After receiving an answer from Telekt-Zod, Witness again broadcasts a message, BROODSIBLINGS ONE WHO GOES FORTH AND RESEARCHER OF BEINGS, MAJE YOUR WAY TO THE RESEARCH LABORATORY. ONE WHO GOES FORTH, RETRIEVE THE SLING OF NEURAL-INHIBITER GRENADES FROM THE WEAPONS DEVELOPMENT SECTION AND RESEARCHER OF BEINGS, GRAB THE GENETIC EXTRACTION TOOLSET FROM THE BIOLOGICAL RESEARCH STATION.

Researcher of Beings |
Certainly, Broodsibling Witness. Researcher moves to the station and extends its senses, focusing on the various objects in the immediate area. What does the pre-existing data suggest...? These. It reaches out with its claws and finds that it is able to manipulate these tools, dragging them toward itself and returning to the main area with them. What do you suggest now, Witness-of-Unity's-Truth? it asks, recognizing that through the bonding process its broodsibling has gained increased sensory capabilities.

Witness-of-Unity's-Truth |
I will assume that One Who Goes Forth retrieves the neural grenades.
After the Brood meets back in the Memekeeper core Witness broadcasts a message, THE GROUP OF BIOFORMS KNOWN FROM HISTORICAL RECORDS AS 'HUMANS' APPEAR TO HAVE STOPPED MOVING. SENSORS INDICATE THAT THE GROUP'S BIO-READINGS INDICATE THEY ARE LAPSING INTO SLEEP PATTERNS. THE HUMANS REST APPROXIMATELY ONE MILE TO THE SOUTHWEST. AS THESE BEINGS WOULD BE EXCELLENT HOSTS ACCORDING TO OUR RECORDS, IT WOULD BE ADVISABLE TO ASSIMILATE THEIR FORMS WHILE THEY SLEEP. DO YOU CONCUR, BROODSIBLINGS?
Once everyone says yes and posts they are ready to leave the ship, we shall begin!

Researcher of Beings |
Efficiency in the assimilation would be most desirable, and offer the most neutrality and viability for research. It will also be helpful to view some of the biometric conditions of these life forms before the assimilation. As such, I concur with your suggestion, Witness-of-Unity's-Truth. Let us go.
