We do seem to like yelling whenever we fight don't we? - I can kind of imagine a cranky hermit stumping over the ridge to chastise us "Bloody heck, keep it down you younglings... why in my day we used to wrestle bears naked in the snow and we didn't feel the need to scream our tits off. In roughly twelve hours I will willingly subject myself to an eight hour period of physical exertion, sleep deprivation and general sanity slippage.... that is to say I'm flying down to Australia with two kids on a red eye. I shall be doing the christmas thing, familial visitation thing and even attending a ten year University re-union... which should be interesting to say the least.
That will mean that I shall not be my usual self when it comes to internet connectivity and PbP response. I should still get online here and there, but it's unlikely to be every day - and even when I do time will be short so you will have to endure a lesser amount of my usual sesquipedalian loquaciousness. If at any time you feel I'm holding things up, feel free to DMPC... or you know have Ragnar hit something with skaggig.
I wish you all a very Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukah, Krazy Kwanzaa or even Positive Emotion Non-Religious Holiday Vacation Day... depending upon your own predisposed proclivities. I look forward to further electronically shared adventures in the post-Mayan calendar New Year.

The bastard Sword is intriguing, but I would need an exotic weapopn feat to use it. I already added the 50GP to my sheet. What is the division on the group pot? How much each?
Exotic weapon feat is needed just to use it one-handed, otherwise it is a regular 2-handed martial weapon. Will do some alchemy checks a bit later when I got time.

I went ahead and made the checks to identify the items. I won't spoiler anything because specifically mentioning their contents would be in character but, the first two vials are worthwhile to the party and Disa really does recommend they be purchased. If the party does not choose to purchase for the betterment of the group, Disa will offer to buy at least one of them.
I do not know what the backpack actually is until Black Dow says but, I believe my IC statement should convey it's relative value.
We already know the sword is magical.
Okay have updated the stash/loot in Campaign Info; you've more coin that was listed and remember you've quite a few items for trade...
Apart from the dwoerg you have a group of Nomen and the human drovers - some of whom may be interested in more mundane items... however I'm looking for you to roleplay the trades :)

I have updated Disa's character sheet with a new "Gear" button. Within is an itemized list with every item she possesses, it's worth and weight. It includes the purchased bottles of Highmettle Mithril in their metal flasks and the 50gp pay advance.

As an aside (and since I'm clearly a glutton for punishment) I'm looking to run a Kingmaker game.
Long story short, did a shed load of prep for my (now defunct) RL group and never ran the game. Mixed in elements of Old Margrave and Karameikos (from Old School D&D)
Drayen is already on board with a Human Fighter (Aldori Swordlord), and I've offered a slot to a fellow submittee, Thanos Maximo, from another game that really impressed me (Elf Diviner).
Planning on 4-5 players (max) so wanted to sound out any of the old faithfuls... Not planning on an open recruitment as I've just not the time to sift through the entrants.
If anyone knows any players from other games they want to shove my way then please let them know.
I am already in a Kingmaker PBP that has been heavily modified that got into the second book (knock on wood) or I would be all over this. So I will give others a chance to holler their interest and hold out an Elven Sorcerer as a spare. if needed.

Apologies for the absenteeism, holiday evenings are basically consisting of me welded to the couch with an eight month old on my chest and I've not been able to wrangle posting time until late at night (generally past midnight). Normal service will resume in three-ish days once I'm back at home base.
So... Luke's ring has went missing since the encounter with the dweorgr merchant company...
Next step is how you deal with it? You may well be travelling with this lot for a day or so - opportunity perhaps to establish how the theft occured etc..
Or do you take the auroch by the horns and deal with the matter with harsh words and cold steel.

No one told Ragnar the ring is missing yet... but his efforts at a diplomatic solution might be a little more pointed than most would wish.
Ready to move on, just keep in mind if you want Ragnar to drop some Skaldic diplomacy ;)
