It's great, we're actually getting through the first quest at a nice clip. I've been playing PFS for awhile, but I'm brand new at PbP. I've been wanting to get into a game for awhile. They fill up fast.

The damage roll was actually average for 2d6. You don't mess around with two-handers at low level; they can easily kill most of things at low level, including PCs.

I am talking about me wearing the tree cloak in the last post. And still being upset the Gnome Druid who was wearing it gave us (me) a less than friendly reception.

For future reference, does opening a door always have to be a double move action? Or do I just need to say something like "waits 5 seconds" before opening the door so it's a new round. Trying to be able to move action to open door, and then take my standard action.

This time it's because there was a lot of posting happening at the same time; technically initiative started as soon as you arrive at the bottom of the stairs as the ratfolk were chatting then fell silent. Normally most combats start after you open a room's doors, but this time the door was ajar and these ratfolks were waiting for you. They don't benefit from a surprise round because the whole party was on their tail pretty rapidly. Other partys could, let's say, take half an hour with the priests to gather info, but you and Naruda immediately found the trail and secret door!

I do like that things are going along at a nice clip. I will have to do some traveling this weekend for Christmas but I will still do my best to get at least two posts in per day, even if they are a little sparser on detail because I will be typing them out on a phone instead of my laptop.
Just in case something does come up and I'm not able to post; I am okay with someone botting me. Naruda is a cleric, so she would usually cast spells and then draw her trident and move into to fight. She can enlarge herself for 1 round as a swift action using her growth domain ability and would use this ability when she gets into melee. This is just in case...I do think I should be able to get two posts in per day despite traveling.
