The problem with that tactic is that it minimizes your buff durations, and that can be deadly in some scenarios. I'd be wary with it.

The others can see this, so may act accordingly. Basically whoever hits AC 16 first kills it, so I'm not too concrned now that the initial attack is done.

The rest of you horrendously gangbang the hapless creature and may move on with your explorations.

At the top of the tower is a copper lightning rod, cunningly worked into the shape of a raven eating a wolf (worth 100 gp).

The DC is a flat 15 for a controlled fall, and since you took damage (which I forgot to roll) you fell Prone, giving you a -4 to hit.

Not particularly relevant either way, so I don't mind an easy retcon.

When you head back out in the hallway, you notice something is different: The other door on the walkway is ajar, and a creature clings to the ceiling nearby, above the vats. A shimmering shield of force surrounds its blurred form, and it hefts a spear, which it flings at the first person to walk out of Grine's door: Darius.

"You may have killed my partner, but you'll not find me such easy prey!" he crows.

And...not quite enough. Thankfully he only has one dose of this. You guys gave him plenty of time to prepare, so the poison is a bit more juiced than usual.

As the spear hits him, Darius notes it had a vial with a syringe attached to it, which pumps an evil poison into his body, so powerful he can't fight it off.

Vork would need to make another save too. Because flaming sphere is only a move action to do. We will ignore the fact that no body was close enought to give the bomb maximum effect Darius is only out 3 rounds, he will switch to Healing and get 3 hp back every round.

Hrm. I'm going to have to say no to moving the sphere. As the condition says "Nauseated creatures are unable to attack, cast spells, concentrate on spells, or do anything else requiring attention." and moving a Flaming Sphere requires you to actively direct it (i.e. requires attention.)

He would (by my reading) have taken damage again at the start of the turn since he was still on top of it, but unfortunately a Flaming Sphere doesn't fly. It can merely "jump" to reach targets up to 30 feet in the air. So it returned to the place where she last directed it.

This will make round 4 total. Meaning that Ezekiel is fine, next round you may act normally, and the round after that Zin will be cured...though the cloud still lingers between her and the rest of the combat for 2 rounds after that, so to get back into the fight from Grine's room she would have to make a DC 17 Fort save or be Nauseated again. Or cast an AoE fire spell to clear a path.

Which reminds me, Ezekiel is also up, then back up to Darius who may act normally (and has Vorkstag clinging to the ceiling right above him.
