To add to the ravages of a brutal civil war The Schaler Trivarium must also now suffer a terrible plague. You have accepted a mission to deliver a vital supply of much needed serum to the system. Delivery of the serum and other much needed medical supplies to an awaiting hospital ship, it should be an easy mission.
Georg: I'll go see if I can find Boone, to take a look at those sensors.
Dr. Feldspar, you're watching as Boone expertly begins removing the explosives, when you see that someone is leaving the bridge, coming towards the hold.
Boone, you're about ten minutes into the job (the 2nd. roll).
Problem is that to get to either engineering or the state-rooms, Georg is going to have pass through the hold.
Georg: All right, I'll check engineering
Boone, you managed to sidle between two of the pallets, so that you're not immediately visible. Unfortunately, you cannot really hide, as your arms are full of live explosives.
Bear in mind that this ship is more on the scale of the 'Serenity' than the 'Enterprise', sending Georg on a snipe hunt to Engineering is probably only going distract him for about five minutes.
Feldspar grimly stares at the com console; he can feel, like a steady drum-beat of pressure, the flashing warning on the sensor board, which he is steadfastly ignoring.
Fineline, you're not completely sure, but you think that the alert is for the detection of active sensor scans, that is, the Luis Wu is being "painted."

"I...uh...haven't seen him. I think he went to engineering, or maybe sick bay. Besides, why are you worried about him, when you have me? Unless you prefer the company of men..."
Anson can't see what seems to be targeting them, but puts himself on the comms to address the entire ship.
Anson (comms): I'm seeing smoke from the north and we're being painted. Thaya or Georg, can one of you communicate with your group so we know what's happening? This doesn't look good.
Do we know what direction the pirates went? And I think their ship should be somewhere nearby, do we know where it is exactly?
So, Boone, you have removed the explosives from the cargo pallets of vital serum. You haven't disarmed the explosives, but as they are small charges, just taking them off the pallets will go a great way towards ensuring the safety of your precious cargo.
Unfortunately, as you are standing in the middle of the cargo hold, wondering how to get rid of an arm-load of bomb-lets, Thaya steps into the hold.
Feldspar: You turn around from shooing off Georg, only to see Thaya descending the hold ladder. You can follow Georg, and duck through the door going forward; but it is likely that you've already been spotted.
That they'll explode upon being thrown, does seem certain. However throwing the dam thing with any accuracy is probably not very likely.
Hmmm. It's also the case that if she shoots you, the bombs will probably detonate: it would of course be very, very bad for you, but the threat to the cargo would be gone.
Anson: Is there something happening? There's smoke to the north and we're being painted. I'd appreciate it if we can contact your group. I have a bad feeling.

If it seems that Thaya can see her, Aurora raises her hands slowly and keep them in plain view. If it seems that Thaya has not seen her or is not watching her, Aurora tries to creep up behind her, only to stumble and catch herself on Thaya's shoulders.
Feldspar, you trip on a cargo strap that Boone had undone to remove the bombs, and fall heavily to the floor, your gun sliding across the floor between Thaya and Boone.
Matter of fact, you take 2 points of damage from your face plant into the unyielding deck.
Fineline, you're nervously studying the external CCTV monitors, when, in the sky to the north you see the flitting movement of what looks to you like a helicopter.
