*Clap clap.*
With holy power surging through his blade, Lumos ends the dragon. You all turn to face the great worm creature.
Rolan up.

Jovii |

Jovii's body glowed and hardened as the monster's tail connected with his enlarged body. You'll have to try harder than that, Wurm!
Reaction to add +7 to my AC until end of my next turn. Blocks that tail attack. Spends 7 psi pts.

caster4life |

Ok. I'll assume you guys are tracking your psi pts and spell slots accurately.

*Rolan |

Safe for the moment outside of the reach of the creature, Rolan begins chanting and as he finishes his spell, crackling black lightning courses through it's body, ripping at it's lifeforce.
Con Save DC 20 vs. Finger of Death or take: 7d8 + 30 ⇒ (5, 6, 1, 3, 5, 2, 8) + 30 = 60 Necrotic damage, or half on a successful save.

caster4life |

The creature recoils in pain as Rolan's black lightning strikes it.
Con Save: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (12) + 5 = 17
Con Save Adv: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21
It manages to shrug off the majority of the blow but can't avoid the rest.
290/325
Jovii up. The death of the dragon simplifies this initiative quite a bit, especially with no more legendary actions.

Jovii |

Jovii switches his focus from hardening his skin to further enhancing his already-enlarged size. Keeping the beast at a distance, he strikes out at it with his hand, which grows a terrifyingly sharp pair of class at the last second.
Bestial claws: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (9) + 10 = 19
damage, slashing: 7d10 ⇒ (6, 9, 3, 1, 2, 5, 10) = 36
damage, psychic: 2d8 ⇒ (8, 6) = 14

caster4life |

A deep, horrible squeal is emitted by the creature. It retaliates by regurgitating a huge stream of acid at Jovii and Rolan.
Acid dam: 10d6 ⇒ (6, 5, 1, 1, 1, 3, 3, 4, 6, 3) = 33
Jovii Dex: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8
Rolan Dex: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14
Both take the acid full-force.
All party up.
240

Jovii |

Jovii flinches as the acid hits him, and instinctively reacts by adapting his skin to absorb the caustic spray.
Reaction: Adaptive Shield (3 psi pts) to gain resistance to acid until end of my next turn. Includes this damage. Taking 16 damage, 5 if which is eaten up by my Remo hp.

Lumos Starsong |

Soaring in the air, Lumos presents his shield, the holy symbol of his god flaring to life. A bright round circle in the shape of a sun sears into the worms skin just above it’s gigantic maw. ”You are marked creature! Your time in service to the dark is over!”
Swooping in, the angelic warrior lashes out with his Longsword still alight with brilliant energy.
Shatterspike: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (11) + 10 = 21 for Magical Slashing: 1d8 + 5 + 1d6 ⇒ (4) + 5 + (5) = 14 and Radiant Damage: 8d8 + 16 ⇒ (1, 4, 2, 4, 7, 5, 2, 7) + 16 = 48
Shatterspike: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (4) + 10 = 14 for Magical Slashing: 1d8 + 5 + 1d6 ⇒ (7) + 5 + (2) = 14 and if this hits go ahead and add 4d8 radiant, but I don’t think it will hit.
Move, Two attacks
Smite 7th lvl slot
Smite 3rd lvl slot
The next attack against him Lumos will warding flare.

caster4life |

A 14 does not hit. By my reading, the spell slot for the second attack is therefor not expended.

caster4life |

All three slam into the creature, angering it further.
211

Jovii |

Jovii funnels yet more power into his body, preparing to resist damage from the creature's tentacles, before attacking with his blade again.
"Come get me, Wurm!"
Sunblade: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (12) + 12 = 24
Radiant: 1d8 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14
Bludgeoning: 2d6 ⇒ (4, 1) = 5
Psychic: 2d8 ⇒ (4, 5) = 9
Steel Hide: 2 psi pts to get resistance to physical damage this turn.

Lumos Starsong |

A 14 does not hit. By my reading, the spell slot for the second attack is therefor not expended.
The other attack did hit though correct?

caster4life |

Yes.
Breath recharge?: 1d6 ⇒ 4
The creature, frustrated with all the attacks, lashes out.
Rolan, Jovii, or Lumos: 1d3 ⇒ 2
Its tentacles fly toward Jovii with fury.
Attack: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (10) + 13 = 23
Damage: 3d8 + 8 ⇒ (6, 6, 6) + 8 = 26
Party up.

Lumos Starsong |

Lumos doubles his efforts while concentrating on his tracking spell.
Shatterspike: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (15) + 10 = 25 for Magical Slashing Damage: 1d8 + 5 + 1d6 ⇒ (3) + 5 + (1) = 9 and Radiant Damage: 16 + 3d8 ⇒ 16 + (6, 5, 1) = 28
Shatterspike: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (5) + 10 = 15 for Magical Slashing Damage: 1d8 + 5 + 1d6 ⇒ (8) + 5 + (2) = 15 and Radiant Damage: 3d8 ⇒ (1, 1, 5) = 7
He then focuses his thoughts ”Grace of light!” and he glows with healing energy.
Healing Word: 4d4 + 4 ⇒ (2, 3, 4, 4) + 4 = 17
Radiant Soul 6 rounds remaining
Hunters Mark still active on target
1st level smite
1st level smite if hits.

caster4life |

I think it would be to move up to hit me from there with the amount of reach it has, based on the page you linked.
Thanks. Moved it accordingly.

*Rolan |

Rolan continues to throw Eldritch Blasts at the creature.
Attack Rolls: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (12) + 10 = 221d20 + 10 ⇒ (6) + 10 = 161d20 + 10 ⇒ (16) + 10 = 26
Damage Rolls: 1d10 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 71d10 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 151d10 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14

caster4life |

Rolan strikes the creature three times with his blasts of pure force.
I believe Jovii still has his turn.
110

Jovii |

Concentration DC 10: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21
Jovii maintains his enlarged form easily as his psionically reinforced skin absorbs and deflects most of the tentacle attack.
Teleporting around to the opposite side of the beast, he again attacks with claws made manifest of pyschic force.
Bestial Claws: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (2) + 10 = 12
Slashing damage: 7d10 ⇒ (9, 5, 7, 8, 9, 9, 2) = 49
Psychic damage: 2d8 ⇒ (6, 1) = 7

caster4life |

Jovii's psychic claws fail to penetrate the creature's tough skin.
Target Rolan, Jovii, or Lumos: 1d3 ⇒ 2
Breath recharge?: 1d6 ⇒ 3
Determined to deal with the huge threat, the creature lashes out at Jovii again.
Tentacles: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (11) + 13 = 24

Concentration drops instantly (free action to drop your own concentration, so Jovii is no longer huge and thus is affected by the grasping tentacles.
Jovii is pulled by the tentacles toward the great maw of the beast.
Jovii str save: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 1 = 15
Jovii is swallowed by the great worm, who then turns on his remaining friends.
Jovii, you are blinded and restrained. You feel the creature's stomach acids working away at you but you don't take damage from them yet. All party up.

Jovii |

"I'm fine! Kill it!" Jovii yells to the others from the gullet of the wurm.
With a thought, he energized his body, preparing it to withstand the acidic environment.
Using 'Energy Immunity' to gain acid immunity for concentration/1 hr max.

Lumos Starsong |

Shatterspike: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (4) + 10 = 14
Shatterspike: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (10) + 10 = 20 for Magical Slashing Damage: 1d8 + 5 + 1d6 ⇒ (8) + 5 + (6) = 19 and Radiant Damage: 16 + 3d8 ⇒ 16 + (1, 3, 6) = 26
Lumos seeing his companion swallowed tries to drive his sword into the beast but his blade deflects off of the beasts hide. With a flap of his wings, he spins in the air reversing the blade and drives it home.

*Rolan |

Rolan rains more Eldritch energy onto the creature, hoping that it will be enough.
Eldritch Blast: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (6) + 10 = 161d20 + 10 ⇒ (6) + 10 = 161d20 + 10 ⇒ (2) + 10 = 12
Damage Rolls: 1d10 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 111d10 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 151d10 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9

caster4life |

Fun choice, Jovii. Inspiration.
The creature snarls in pain and lashes out at
Recharge?: 1d6 ⇒ 6
Rolan or Lumos: 1d2 ⇒ 1
The creature's tentacles lash out at Rolan, seeking to draw him into the maw as well.
Attack: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (3) + 13 = 16
Dam: 3d8 + 8 ⇒ (2, 5, 7) + 8 = 22
But its flagging will to fight seems to keep it from landing a blow on the warlock.
Party up.
39

Jovii |

As the acid sizzles harmlessly against his skin, Jovii focuses his mind and strikes out at the walls of the wurm with his manifested claws, intent on cutting himself out and doing as much damage to the monster as possible in the process.
Nice! I'll cash that in to skip the disadvantage from being inside the Wurm.
Bestial Claws: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (9) + 10 = 19
Slashing: 7d10 ⇒ (9, 8, 4, 7, 5, 8, 2) = 43
Psychic: 2d8 ⇒ (3, 2) = 5

*Rolan |

Rolan will again use Misty Step to teleport away from the crazy worm thing, then he will cast unload some more Eldritch Blasts.
Attack Rolls: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (7) + 10 = 171d20 + 10 ⇒ (7) + 10 = 171d20 + 10 ⇒ (15) + 10 = 25
Damage Rolls: 1d10 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 111d10 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 91d10 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10

caster4life |

Rolan's blasts knock the creature about. It rears back and screams in pain while Jovii seizes the opportunity and hacks his way out of the living creature, causing it to fall dead as Jovii exits, covered in the great worm's gore.
Well done, all! That was fun!

caster4life |

Yeah the dragon's lack of recharge was huge. I thought you guys might be in trouble but figured I'd just let it play out. In case you're curious, destroying the orb with intertwined energy worms in the middle would have broken the dragon's control of the neothelid, causing it to attack the closest target. But you guys didn't end up needing that option. Fun for me to get some more experience designing/running high level encounters in 5e, something which rarely comes up.

caster4life |

Thanks for participating guys! See you around the boards. Perhaps I'll run another one of these some time in the future.
