How about the special reward at the END of the New Seeker Arc is an opportunity to earn a catfolk boon!

Yeah, thanks to Thursty, any seeker arc that involves catfolk would have to portray them as villains that the PCs kill. If he had his way, they would all be disguised as orcs, and when the last one died, the disguise would fade as the catfolk gasped, "Noooo...we could have been...a boon..."

Not necessarily true, but I anticipate handling catfolk in a slightly different way.

Unrelated to catfolk, I always have extra scenario ideas--sometimes brief pitches and sometimes much better developed plans--waiting in the wings. More Seeker-level material has long been an interest of mine, and it's definitely been a growing priority when developing a season's schedule.

I enjoy reading people's ideas of what would make a good seeker arc. Perhaps we'll see some of those in action!

Makes sense. The stink alone should be enough for the Society to draw the line in the sand and start claiming to have limits on what they would accept.

Plus, how awesome would it be to have them (that is the entire race) be the BBEG that unlocks a Ratfolk Boon Option.

I'd love to see a Tom & Jerry treatment done!

You mean other than my ratfolk hunter named d'Jariae and his tiger companion Ta'am?

Shadow Lodge 4/5

Two things I'd love to see from a new retirement arch would be two things kind of iconic to the game as a whole, but not often actually ever used.

1.) Planar Exploration beyond another Material Plane(ish) place, like the Hao Jinn Tapestry or a tiny portion of the Abyss that seeps through into the Worldwound. Lets have a romp through the Elemental Planes, or instead of laughing at First World "threats", actually go there.

2.) An actual, full scale, No RP around it, Large+ Sized, well written (Tactics, looking at you) mastermind Dragon BBEG.

Shadow Lodge 4/5

Well that or a post-apocalyptic time-travelling jaunt of amazingness that takes us to all the places that the various seasons promised but failed to deliver.

Silver Crusade 3/5 **** Venture-Captain, North Carolina—Asheville

A portal in Numeria could probably take us to another planet easily enough. Of course, I don't have much high-tier experience, so maybe this is typical stuff for eleventh-level Pathfinders.

Agreed, the retirement arc needs a bunch of lasers and robots.

Everyone agree? :3

A Troop or two should be plenty.

So far, portals seem to be more of a magical thing, not a technological thing.

A troop of raging undead pugwampis with railguns. Ooh, and a chase!

If you're going the route of 'these things unlock races' then the Seeker arc needs to deal with something along the lines of 'this race no longer has a niche it once had because it has been erased from time' (in keeping with the Sky Key thread-thought) and something else took it place. So if Serpents are involved, then perhaps when they are eliminated as the 'big bad' Ratfolk become one of the 'featured' races, and Nagajii go to boon status? And then in subsequent seasons if the ratfolk race has a population boom of excessive nature, the catfolk race becomes a featured available race and the ratfolk go to boon status?

Yes, but if it's not in writing then it can't be RAW. Have to make sure it is clearly lined out how horrific it is, right?

I fear that all of this hype about robotic swarm ghosts that fire deeper darkness and have a confusion-inducing babble that breaks everyone's magic items, nothing I can plan as a seeker arc could ever measure up to the public's expectations.

*Quietly sheds a tear and shelves level 12+ play*

Guess I can always make more Tier 1–5 adventures...

But seriously, still listening—just trying my best to look past some of the more gratuitously punitive suggestions

Shadow Lodge 4/5

Maybe just pugwampis then.

3/5

Might I suggest Arcadian or Azlanti exploration?

Lantern Lodge 5/5

"More 1-5s" sounds pretty good.

Dataphiles 3/5

Exploring more ancient Azlanti ruins is always fun, and kind of central to the lore of Golarion and the Society. An aqautic adventure exploring one of the sunken ruins could be really cool.

Shadow Lodge 4/5

They could, oh I dunno sanction Serpent's Skull for that. Azlanti ruins, check, underwater, check, serpentfolk(see current season logo) ties, check.

Distant Shores'll come out soon, so Arcadia isn't out of the question, I reckon.

Dataphiles 3/5

Cool haven't played Serpent's Skull thought that mostly had to do with jungles and serpentfolk, but good to know.

I would like to see outer planes stuff for high level play.

I think this would be a great place for paizo to expand to. They have no really touched it. They did outer space things.

Same here. But, now that I think about it, something, probably the one thing that's been totally missing from PFS that is kind of out of never been done by a group of archeologists looking into the worlds lost history, how about some first hand exploration of some of those ancient civilizations.

A limited form of time travel, maybe a one time thing (perhaps using up the last bit of the mythic power some character might have). Or, well, there is a Faction that has a newish Faction Leader that might be able to swing it, as a one time thing, (well per 12 level party). Okay, well, technically it could be an up to three times thing, but you know what I mean.

cat folk adventure will never work because you'd have to convince some pathfinder to empty tha litterbox... =^..^=

We just lost our barbarian doing just that this past weekend. My inquisitor was ill prepared for the beasts of yesteryear.

Honestly, I would love a seeker arc that went back in time to see the creation of the Society. I can think of other things, but they may go against Golarion canon. Or could make canton, which is something that PFS has been hesitant to do.

Fed up with the everlasting turmoil in Galt, the faction leaders finally agree on something. The Revolution has to be over turned, and Order must be restored. Lady Glorianna sees the chance to restore the Galtan aristocracy, because the masses haven't been able to rule themselves. Maldris sees this as a time to prove that the revolution could have worked, and here's how h would have done it differently. Zadrian only wants the poor people of Galt to be free from The Terror, while Zarta Dralneen sees it as a chance to install her own kind of order. The Trade Prince al'Hakim is only interests in the profits he could garner, while the Sages follow the trail of one of their own.

All the while dealing with a government that has collapsed under its own weight, and a revolution that threatens to spill over into other lands.

The mind boggles at the possibilities.

Oh, and I would love Sam Polak to write at least one episode! The Stranger Within and Slave Masters Mirror are still two of my favorites!

Or we just have Thursty, Baird, and Lundeen kill all the characters!

You could really be ON to something here, Jack. The Final Blades of Galt have stored a LOT of spirits in them. That power has to be... considerable.

And it may also be weakening the barriers between this world and other worlds. With the recent release of Occult Adventures, there could be a whole tie-in with the ramifications of *what* this means on a psycho-spiritual level, even!

It could also be one of those epic sort of stories where you have even demons hopping on board, because that formless chaos in Galt? It could even have *them* terrified, though they'd never admit it. And the Hellknights would be on board, and you have a whole bunch of Crusaders that apparently have been looking for something to do, etc...

Grand Lodge 4/5

Don't open if you like Lady Morilla Gloriana:
So, now that some of us know the truth about her, when is she going to be ... dealt .. with?

Just curious, what scenario is this?

To Judge a Soul sort of seemed (from the description) to be similar, but I sort of figured it was more like going through memories rather than the actual past.

I sort of envisioned it being more of an event unrelated to the PFS itself, but something, as scholars or investigator of the mysteries of the world, might jump at the chance to learn. It doesn't even have to be a major event, but it could be a great opportunity to see the world in a different time period. Aroden is still "alive" and active, Cheliax doesn't even exist, etc. . .

But, like others mentioned earlier, it would probably be best to avoid including major NPC's too much, and by extension, this should not be special for any specific Faction.

1/5 5/5

Oh, gods, my brain just went weird.

What if Aroden is a time traveller from the modern time (or the future) with massive disguise skills/polymorph spells whatnot.

And the reason he's 'dead' is because he can't be in the same time 'twice'?

Shadow Lodge 4/5

Personally, I've never understood the appeal of Aroden.
